S9.E4: Pink and The Blues

Recommended Posts

Kyle's a such man baby. He's always mad or crying or in his feels about something. He acts as if everyone owes him their undying loyalty. Why? Aside from giving Carl a job, what has he ever done to support anyone else?

If he's hurt that Craig invested in another alcohol brand, then have a conversation with Craig about it. Don't rage text his girlfriend & bring it up to everyone but him (on camera) ruining their night.

Similarly, as much as I disliked Hannah on the show, she has every right to talk about her experience. Her feud with Kyle was one of the reasons she was let go. Whether he had a hand it that, who knows, but she certainly doesn't owe him silence.

Paige (to Ciara, addressing Kyle): You're lucky I don't buy Loverboy, and f...... sell it!

What are the lies Hannah, and Craig (presumably) spread about Kyle, so he is so angry he took it out on Paige? Hanna's are about Kyle being responsible for her firing.

Gender reveal without the father (I'm sure the father knows, but Lindsay had to have a replay for the viewers).

Still not interested in Imrul who was oppressed and he is oversexed now because of it.

For a minute I thought Danielle was going to try to bag Imrul. And leave it to her to get all up into someone else's relationship already.  Why are you asking Jesse if him and Lexi are exclusive?  They haven't been together long enough to even have that conversation yet. Mind your own damned business.  I just can't stand her!!! 😒

Kyle is such a whiny btch boy!

When I read the episode blurb I was all, "Ugh, baby reveal" but after watching:

  • Tantrum Kyle
  • New guy whose personality is apparently just sex
  • the love story for the ages of Jesse and Lexi

I as all, "Ugh, please get back to the gender reveal!"

Agree!

I loved watching Paige activated by Kyle because Kyle is absolutely no match for her. Not to mention he is completely wrong in his reasoning behind texting Paige.

What really pissed me off was watching Kyle sulk around yet again (while failing to produce tears) and not even ask just once if Amanda was okay. He is so fucking self-centered and it's always about him. He reminds me so much of my ex that it's scary. Amanda, I stayed with my ex way too many years, don't make the same mistake I did. Please exit the relationship and do not have kids with this man.

It was definitely weird to see Carl participating in the gender reveal. If you're going to have it, do something that doesn't require participants or something. And I say this as a non-Linsday hater.

But I do love seeing all the girls hanging out and getting along, especially Lindsay and Paige.

I thought that Danielle was going to hookup with Imrul. She's still just 'meh' to me.

Jesse, really, when you lovebomb Lexi but then act like she's the crazy one because, as it turns out, she doesn't want to sleep with you immediately?  Granted, her jealously of his complimentary posts on the roommates' social media seems a bit much. I mean, it's different (I guess?) when you're married and your husband is constantly commenting like that, but you're young and not dating, so that is a red flag. UNLESS Jesse has said or given the impression that he and Lexi are officially dating?  Something seems off about the whole thing.

Kyle is the worst. He's always just throwing tantrums. What are these lies? Also he's the one who almost ruined his relationship multiple times.

Jesse & Lexy together are lame.

Kyle saying he's gonna leave is just an attention grab.

I'm still not minding Carl so far this season.

What does Kyle expect Paige to say exactly I hate my best friend & boyfriend you are always right & amazing Kyle. I wish he would just shut the fuck up.

All of this! Didn’t  Kyle say he's  leaving  25 times, but he's  still there.

Last  season  was so much fun, this season  is not. Especially  everything  surrounding  the baby.

Also, from last week, please no crop- topping your pregnant belly in public.  Swimsuit, okay.  I don’t want to see bare belly at happy hour.

If you don't want to see bare bellies at happy hour then I assume that would include people who aren't pregnant then as well, wouldn't it?

I usually think Carl is off-putting/he gives me the willies but I thought he handled the gender reveal stuff well. I thought it was nice of Lindsay to get NA champagne, too. That was a nice moment. It didn't seem like he actually drank any though lol.

I meant bare pregnant belly.

Agree that Carl handled the gender reveal very well.

I’m already sick of the Lindsay the pregnant woman in the house storyline. I think her baby daddy Turner (?) made a good decision when he chose not to film on this show.
I don’t know how Amanda puts up with Kyle and his nonsense. So far she has probably made a good choice in letting him grow up before they have a child to raise. That’s if he ever will mature and be less narcissistic.

Is it me or is Paige getting meaner? She doesn’t seem happy, but now that she’s broken up with Craig I can guess why. She’s still rocking fashion tho.

Amanda, if Kyle causes you to lose another friendship because of his behavior, then that is whole mess of red flags. I applaud you backing your husband, but his behavior has GOT to change. It's also a big problem if he has to remind you and everyone else how hard he's trying to be a good husband and wanting head pats for trying. I can't with him.

And, my love for Paige grows. She owned Kyle in their fight. Finally, someone on reality TV realizes that you can be civil and professional with someone and it's not being fake. That's just being an adult. I'm so tired of being on reality TV justifying shitty behavior by saying that they're not going to be fake. Simply biting your tongue or giving them a polite nod of acknowledgement even when you don't like then, is not being fake--it's called being an adult. I give Paige all the applause for that tirade at Kyle.

From the looks on their faces, if the group had been given the option of dental work without anesthesia versus participating in Lindsay's gender reveal, I'm quite certain they'd choose the dental work.  It's idiotic enough that she's even there, let alone making the rest of the cast get roped into supporting this crap.

Kudos to Carl, he handled it really well.

A wife should (and should want to) support her husband.  If you think your husband is an immature asshole and you repeatedly have difficulty supporting him, it may be a sign you're with the wrong guy.  The scene with Amanda and Paige crying over their friendship and Amanda's lost friendship with Hannah was really heartbreaking.  Their friendship always rings true to me.

I think the rage text and Kyle's subsequent reaction were a very deliberate, plotted out storyline for him.  The way he acted afterwards was just ridiculous.  He knew what he was doing.

I'm a fan of Paige.  She always comes through as being level headed, a voice of reason, and as she said, you can call her many things but a bad friend isn't one of them.  That being said....the comment that she could buy Loverboy gave me the same barfy reaction as when Danielle called herself a CEO.  Braggy and not a good look.  I also am a huge supporter of a strong young woman supporting herself and making her own way in the world.  But I'm really tired of Paige having to declare this every five seconds.  We get it girl, you are absolutely killin' it.  But you don't have to keep saying it over and over.
