Not yet. But people have been speculating/wondering if the guy from Grimm is Roman. And he’s about as white as they come. Also, I miss Grimm. LOL.

Judging by all the other relationships on the show I would be surprised if race was ever mentioned. The audience just makes a visual assumption by looking at Ava/Amirah J

AFAIR, race has never been mentioned on Roman. Ava is played by a biracial actress who looks biracia. Roman's  last name is also Sinquerra and is pronounced as if it is Hispanic. The implication is that he isn't what is considered white but his ethnicity hasn't been spelled out.

Haven't we? I would have thought there was a pic of him shown in connection to the missing person case file, the confidential informant file, and/or the book of mementos that Morgan has kept. 

Anyway, the Internet tells me that the show has given Roman's last name as "Sinquerra" so he would presumably be Latino or Black/Latino.

I'm pretty sure we would not have seen a picture of him yet. They would hold that off until the part has been cast so no one can complain that he looks different from the picture back in season one. The characters have probably seen a picture, but the audience hasn't.
