Despite his flaws I used to have a lot of respect for him based on his charitable initiatives if nothing else.  I will be very interested to see if the ladies hold his feet to the fire with regard to his recent seeming show of support of Trump.

Hmmm... "Genre" is a code word to keep (artists) separate? That seems like someone looking for reason to blame someone else if they haven't succeeded in a new area. If your music is too different from the other works in a particular genre, then it doesn't belong there. It doesn't mean it is bad, just that it isn't an obvious fit. Glad Beyonce finally got the award she's been missing. Will she try to compete in the Classical genre next?

Re: Kanye West's wife's outfit - Looked like it belonged in "The Emperor's New Clothes". It also seems like a desperate bid for attention.

I haven't seen today's show yet, so I don't know what exactly was discussed, but it's par for the course with that couple.  There are multiple instances of her being 90% nude in photos when they're out and about, especially in Europe.  She always looks so sad.  I hope she's agreeing to it and not being forced to do it.

It's a pattern with him.  When he was with Kim K, he always seemed to be very involved in what she wore and her photo shoots.  He's got some thing about putting the women he's with on display.  It's pretty gross.

Agreed it’s gross.  However, I’m not crazy about the narrative that this all Kanye’s doing.  It may very well be his wife’s idea, or she’s she a willing participant.   Placing the blame on Kanye only reduces her to a victim or child, instead of a fully equal woman.

Usually I might be inclined to agree with you but in this case he has history of dressing or at least trying to dress the women in his life & the fact that she always looks so damn miserable makes me disagree that she is a more than willing participant.

This 100% looks like some sort of humiliation kick he gets from it rather than anything she has come up with. Compare the way she looks with Julia Fox when she wears such outfits, always smiling & obviously enjoying the notoriety she gets from looking so ridiculous.

I don't care IF she wants to walk around 99% naked & they both enjoy it & get their kicks that way, but it's the look on her face that makes some people stop & wonder wtf rather than the clothing she wears.

I started warning people over the weekend that musk had gained access to all our sensitive information. I was met with a complaint that I shouldn’t talk about politics. Sigh. I also emailed my members of Congress. They don’t care.

My rep is a far right MAGA loon who is actively supporting Musk on his socials, but I've been calling his office anyway just to try and make my voice be heard. Of course he has a perpetually full voice mail and can never be reached. Feels like I'm just watching the collapse of our country in real time and there's nothing any of us can really do.

I agree & have cut back my MSNBC viewing in despair, but still really appreciate the political discussions & resistance expressed by most View panelists.  Keep it up, ladeez, educate/inform the apolitical public, & maybe the midterms will bring back a li'l hope.  (Brick wall meets my skull...)

I wish they wd not put in so many clips of Trump talking. I hate hearing his stupidity reiterated, so I ff.

I get it that the clips introduce the topics but please, shorten the clip to bare minimum.

I believe the producer guy (Repub) understands that it is reinforcing Trump's presence... which is what Trump wants for his ego.  And his cronies want him front and center for the distraction while they are taking over and  robbing our government and creating chaos in the world.

Could they possibly add a counter clip about what the other side of anyone else is doing to fight the insanity?

Not happy, fluff pieces, but promote the lawsuits against Constitutional infringement, up and coming politicos, citizens rebelling with constructive activities, etc.

Give us some real hope.

So now Whoopi is "freaked out" after two months of telling us not to panic. Those of us who were anxious felt that way for good reason, but hope you enjoyed that popcorn, Whoopi. 🙄

Despite the fact that things have turned out even worse than most expected I don't think she was wrong saying to not panic until we know for sure, which we do now.

A wise man once told me, "Worry is the interest we pay on something that might not happen".

People who "power through" problems, especially mental health issues like depression - Ana made it sound as though only immigrants and POC feel they have to work despite the issues; I think they do, but so do lots of other people in all demographics who depend on hourly wages or have limited options for time off. Many times when I worked an hourly job, I went into work when I might have been better off staying home, because I needed the income from those 8 hours, and I was not the only person doing this. The people who showed up no matter what also were likely to get the more favorable shifts, because management saw them as competent and reliable, so that was another incentive.

People who have salaried positions may have reasons that they "power through", but those reasons are probably more personal than economic.

X 1000000000!!!!!

She's useless with politics and social news.

This show has elevated her ego to think she's "wise" .

Stick to acting,  Whoopi. Do some more Broadway gigs or whatever. Take some vacations.
