Baltimore Betty Tuesday at 02:50 AM Share Tuesday at 02:50 AM Danni running after Chase trying to get him to commit to a full-time relationship after only knowing him for two weeks is desperate. I do wish she would stop wearing bikini tops as casual evening wear, they are not flattering on her in my opinion. Danni has been bringing down moral since day one. 4 3 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/151603-s05e16-the-bitter-end/#findComment-8565639
PaperTree Tuesday at 04:38 AM Share Tuesday at 04:38 AM "So unfair!" Danni is so obnoxious. Nobody "screamed" at her. She doesn't deserve any kind of "break". Chase needs to drop her like a hot rock. Daisy is no prize, but these stews are just terrible. "That evil Daisy wants us to WORK! The nerve of her!" The whine-fest in the cab was really over the top. May we never see Gary again. Awkward with the primary down. Well, gotta eat! Tough for Cloyce. Did somebody request the sushi? If not, make something else. They liked it though. Guests weren't real demanding and stuff went smoothly enough Glenn didn't really get involved. Nice gesture letting Gary dock, but he's not Captain material. 9 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/151603-s05e16-the-bitter-end/#findComment-8565697
snarts Tuesday at 12:57 PM Author Share Tuesday at 12:57 PM Laziest, whiniest stews ever. They should be thanking their lucky stars that Daisy was their Chief Stew. If anything she was too nice & they took advantage. I hope they realize now how ridiculous they look & have missed out on jobs as a result. From WWHL learned that Danni & Chase did date after the season. Aesha shared that she heard their relationship got extremely toxic & that they stiffed a repairman who was working on Chase's sailboat, taking off without paying him. Daisy & Keith also dated for a year after filming, ending things recently due to the distance. She also mentioned that, while she's not completely done with yachting, she no longer doing the Caribbean season, focused exclusively on the Med since she's based in London. I could see her returning to Sailing Yacht (if there's another season) with a new first mate/bosun. Maybe Keith? Glenn seemed quite enamored of him. 6 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/151603-s05e16-the-bitter-end/#findComment-8565788
iMonrey Tuesday at 05:26 PM Share Tuesday at 05:26 PM What a miserable season. I think it's time this branch of the franchise be put out to pasture. At the very least they need new blood. Gary and Daisy are both sloppy drunks who end up having the same conversation over and over again every time they go out. It's time for them to retire and go their separate ways. I'd never want to get on a boat that Gary is Captain of. There would always be a 50/50 chance he's drunk off his ass. Diana and Danni were perhaps the most entitled, spoiled brats the show has ever had. And Diana started off saying she was lucky to have Daisy as a Chief after some of the monsters she's worked for previously. Then she ends the season complaining about Daisy because, horror of horrors, she only got eight hours of sleep instead of nine. And had to do laundry too much. Danni is pathetic running after Chase, but Chase is no better. As much as he tried to back away from her he still ended up sleeping with her again. (And why is Chase's nose as bright red as Rudolph's?" Cloyce ended up redeeming himself nicely, but that primary requested a sushi dinner when half her friends couldn't eat raw fish. Then didn't show up for dinner. What a lousy friend. Also? "Dietary restrictions" are not the same thing as allergies. They sound more like preferences. I never heard of anyone who couldn't eat a cherry tomato before. Well, one thing I learned that I never knew: The Parsifal is German for Percival, of Arthurian Legend. Thanks, Glenn. 5 2 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/151603-s05e16-the-bitter-end/#findComment-8565958

According to this article: Quote Tomato Allergy: The Characterization of the Selected Allergens and Antioxidants of Tomato (Solanum lycopersicum)—A Review Katarzyna Włodarczyk 1,*, Beata Smolińska 1, Iwona Majak Quote Abstract Tomatoes are one of the most broadly produced and consumed crop plants. They are the source of health-promoting nutrients such as antioxidants, including ascorbic acid, polyphenols, or carotenoids. Despite the beneficial role of tomatoes in the daily diet, they have been confirmed as one of the most prevalent allergenic vegetables. Food allergies can cause many clinical symptoms, e.g., in the gastrointestinal tract, skin, and lungs, as well as anaphylactic shock. A huge amount of clinical research has been carried out to improve the understanding of the immunological mechanisms that lead to the lack of tolerance of food antigens, which can result in either immunoglobulin E (IgE)-mediated reactions or non-IgE-mediated reactions. Lifestyle and diet play an important role in triggering food allergies. Allergy to tomatoes is also linked to other allergies, such as grass pollen and latex allergy. Numerous attempts have been made to identify and characterize tomato allergens; however, the data available on the subject are not sufficient.A 1 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/151603-s05e16-the-bitter-end/#findComment-8565973
aghst Tuesday at 08:12 PM Share Tuesday at 08:12 PM Nothing too exciting, they just end the season. Looks like they had this in the can for a year or so because some of them dated for a year, supposedly. I don't think Bravo is going to give up. They don't seem to cancel shows. Andy was going to promote the show with the WWHL, having a lot of the cast on throughout the season. Then they're ready to roll on to BDDU -- maybe that is why Aesha was on WWHL with Daisy, who looks to have lost some weight. I've never seen her in the Caribbean so she must have doing jobs between filming but now, making good enough money to live in London and only do shows based in the Mediterranean? 3 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/151603-s05e16-the-bitter-end/#findComment-8566072
howiveaddict Tuesday at 11:41 PM Share Tuesday at 11:41 PM Gary as a boat captain reminds me of the movie, Captain Ron with more drunkeness and lechery. 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/151603-s05e16-the-bitter-end/#findComment-8566223

The one woman loved her chicken teriyaki, though. I hate raw tomatoes, but they're easy enough to pick off. I'll offer them to my fellow diners and have no shortage of takers. SemiCharmedLife Friday at 06:08 AM Share Friday at 06:08 AM Well, Gary somehow managed to keep his hands to himself (almost) this season. I think that was in large part because the stews didn't fall for his shenanigans (well, Danni was close) and Daisy could see how immature he was when compared to a normal individual like Keith. Daisy looked amazing on WWHL. She had a very chic shorter haircut and a very pretty cocktail dress. 5 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/151603-s05e16-the-bitter-end/#findComment-8568572

I think it more likely (or at least as likely) that news of the sexual misconduct accusations broke while this season was filming and producers told him to stay away from the stews because of it. It probably also accounts for his very short-lived experiment with sobriety. 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/151603-s05e16-the-bitter-end/#findComment-8569090
Red Bridey Yest. at 12:01 AM Share Yest. at 12:01 AM Gary is too old to act the way he does. At least Daisy has learned her lesson and stayed away from him (romantically if not physically!) He's as pathetic as Danni was in throwing herself at anyone with a penis. Who is surprised that Danni and Chase didn't work out? And according to Aesha, who has no fucks to give, they skipped out on paying a sailboat repairman's bill. So where exactly is the moral high ground for those two scammers? 2 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/151603-s05e16-the-bitter-end/#findComment-8569128
