Exactly.  You can easily spend a whole day on sourcing and preparing food and not eat much.  Go drive around finding cheapest quality fish and produce, learn to fillet the fish, practice your knife skills chopping up veggies, cook from scratch.  Spend time searching for recipes and meticulously meal plan and measure out portions and count calories.    That way you can easily spend 8 hours thinking about or working on food and end up eating less and a whole lot healthier.

I will confess that a large portrait of moi hangs over the stair landing in my foyer so if any visitors lift their eyes or go upstairs, they will see it.  It's almost 20 years old...

It looks like Vianne maybe is finding some motivation, pity it happened five seconds before the end of the show.

I can appreciate that! This looked like a framed photo of him in his Dr. Jacket.  I also have a giant wedding photo on the wall, I will never look that good again so why not 😂

Hey, fat Chatters! Sorry I'm late, I'm trying to finish season three of Candice Renoir because it leaves Acorn at midnight! How's everyone's eating habit? Today I snacked on grapes (I KNOW) and for supper I had a salad with chicken, feta and kalamata olives. Yum.

Next week is John & Lonnie's Story. Might go check in on Lonnie's instagram; haven't looked at it in a while. Celeb Jeopardy is a rerun but the final season premiere of the Conners is at 8 so I might just tune in half an hour late.

I have come to realize that most of my watching is trash tv. I didn't even have a tv when I got out of college.

@sainte-chapelle any improvement on the vertigo? And aren't you the one who told me about Apple Cider Vinegar? Netflix also has a documentary available about Belle, "The Search for Instagram's Worst Con Artist" and I thought it was very good.

There was speculation on another online source that there were some unaired WATNs, but everything on the cable schedules are the repeats.    Next week they have the original John & Lonnie, with WATN Robin and Garrett following, and Robin & Garret should be the next week's 7 to 9 central episode.    

(One that was listed from some sources was Paul & Carrie, and another that was talked about was listed but had no names attached).  

Also the other website says Benji (of Benji & David) was shot, and was in the hospital recovering.  That happened in November 2024.

The only regular TV shows I watch are the trashy ones we chat. Otherwise its all streaming. I can't get enough of British police procedurals and murder mysteries. Occasionally I visit former colonies, New Zealand, South Africa, the Caribbean and so on.

Mom's the same. The visiting nurse and NP were around this week, and they say she's not plateaued, she's declining, slowly. So we're hopeful that we can keep her at home, at least. There's enough money to keep the level of staff we have now for quite a while yet. It's comforting.

I’m sorry, I know it is different for everyone but I know how hard it is. I’m still devastated. I’m glad she is comfortable and has family around her.

I just watched "A Remarkable Place to Die" and found it meh. Didn't like the main character, who is always pissed off and getting in people's faces and yelling at them, yet every man who drifts into her orbit falls in love with her. And the murder mystery was confusing and in the end, stupid. Do not recommend. 

I was hoping this Lacey  was "shit her pants in the car" Lacey. It would have been a lot more entertaining.

My mom was put into hospice (in her home) and those people were wonderful. They told me that she would pass in a week when I could see no end to the situation. Got my out-of-town brothers up by Thursday and she passed on Saturday night. AFTER we had gone back to my house for the night! I had just gotten into bed and got the call. Thanks, Mom! Very typical of her calling the shots! 😉🤗

She still looks larger than she should but a lot smaller. She looks happy and lives a full life with her hipster friends travelling to concerts etc. She looks great.

My aunt was on home hospice for her last couple of weeks. The last picture taken of her was on a Friday, with a glass of scotch in her hand. By Saturday she was sleeping/unconscious. Sunday we all (her kids, grandkids, siblings, nieces/nephews...) went over to see her and got to say goodbye. Monday morning when I was getting ready for work my mom sent a message that she passed around 3 in the morning, when the only one awake was the nurse. I feel like she waited for everyone to go to bed.
