Last season was a fun season. This season? There's something seriously lacking. The writing is just not good. Why would Vance let himself be overrun by the Deputy like that? He's in charge not that needle nose?

I kept wishing Gibbs would have been there to put that guy in his place. Parker has respect for his team and they for him but they have written him as a bystander.

I may just give up after this season....

This was an emotional episode. I’m glad that no one was to blame for the lack of communication in the end, and that everyone involved mustered up some forgiveness. Laughed at the lit agent’s thought he could order martinis in a diner. Also found it unusual for an intervention in the same diner.

Glad Nick has found some love on the show, as there’s none to be had here.

This episode was probably the best of this season as, I dunno, to me the writing this season seems kind of "off".

I liked the retired disabled veteran who opened up a shop and provided jobs for other vets and I loved how his men stood behind him.  I'm also happy that the troubled man who had guilt over what happened to his brother, found support from the other vets and we are assuming will get help for his issues.

I'm also going to assume that we are being teased that Torres is in a relationship?   And the team has got to be the nosiest bunch of yentas around.  Talk about everybody being up in everybodies business!   Could you imagine marrying into that crew - forget the overbearing mother-in-law, you'd have the rest of the team.

These cheesin' goons (not counting Gary Cole) are incompatible with modern audiences. CBS knows it, but as long as the ratings don't attrition too-too much...

LaRoache is the only hope for some much-needed intensity alongside Gary Cole (and Vance).

Great point about the yentas, exaggerated by Hallmark actress Knight, jimmy, and Kasie. I actually find Kasie more interesting to watch than most of the can't-carry-the-show rest.

Edit: imagine if Gary was on an actually-good show like Netflix's Man On The Inside in the (incomparable) Ted Danson role? He could pull that off.

I just hope it's not Bishop.  That would mean she might be coming back.  I was glad when she left the show.
