She just spent four hours driving back from NY so we'll have to reconnoiter tomorrow. We'll be going to my mother's for a few hours but mostly just hanging out quietly at home. I'm exhausted and can't even fire up a synapse to come up with a plan. Usually I like menu planning and cooking but the very thought is giving me the vapors. Send help.

Outsource the holiday! Your husband can do it! Order in! Rest up and feel better soon.

I don't think so, it doesn't seem covid-y. (Which is ridiculous because I've never had covid so how would I know?) It feels more flu-y. Feverish, achy, exhausted, congested. Guess I could take a covid test, I have about a hundred of them lying around.

I think Walgreens has combo COVID and flu tests!

It does not surprise me that the trollish denizens of social media call Julia a whore. She is a woman and does not knuckle under to men's expectations. BURN HER! I saw a clip the other day of the peerless Hannah Waddingham call out a photographer for yelling "show some leg!" at her. She snapped back that he'd never say that to a man, and to learn some manners. You would not believe how many commenters said absolutely horrible things about her because of this. I wanted to cry, for real. It was horrible. She is a goddess, those trolls aren't worthy to clean her hairbrush, but they feel perfectly free to trash and demean her.

Thank you for asking, I do appear to be mending, coughing less but still just so exhausted and weak. I'm hopeful that I can do a few chores around the house tomorrow (yippee! So exciting).

I feel like we have taken a million steps backwards….its awful. I can’t talk about certain things here (rules) but what has happened and what is happening is just mind blowing.
