SunnyBeBe December 4 Share December 4 (edited) If these people are being honest, they really do need intense psychological treatment. Their obesity seems to be very important to them and not a priority at all. I just don’t get it. Why can’t the entire family eat healthy? Best wishes to Vanesa. I hope she can find friends who won’t bring her down. Abmis December 4 Share December 4 Scott needs to grow up and move out of mommy's house. Their relationship is so toxic. Her facial expressions were creeping me out. My son used to hide food wrappers too but he was in elementary school at the time. Vannessa looks fantastic. 4 2 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/150905-s03e06-string-cheese-as-far-as-the-eye-can-see/#findComment-8524558
Pi237 December 4 Share December 4 Too much Scott, again. Good on Tina for calling out his constant mansplaining. Never saw someone who loved to hear himself pontificate so much. How old is he? Throwing empty food wrappers behind the couch!? And shoving them in the cabinet!? His Mom is ridiculous for putting up with that. He’d be picking those up with his teeth if he were my kid. I can’t express how stabby that makes me. I have no patience for man-babies. I feel bad for Tina. I’m sure it’s normal to have a mourning period after a life changing surgery, but all she has to do is look around that room and realize-obviously- all of them except Vanessa-are back to eating pretty much whatever they want. I feel for Ashley, too. But I hope after she mourns the probability of having the pregnancy she always dreamed of, she remembers that becoming a Mom is the goal-and lots of women, even skinny, young ones sometimes have to take an alternate route to get there. And it doesn’t make you less of a woman, or a failure, to take those alternatives. It’s heartbreaking, I’m sure, but it’s not the end of the story if she can’t carry her own child. I’d hate to see her give up on that dream. Having said all that-not interested in ‘want to be a Mom’ storylines. They always get tedious on reality shows. It was important, I suppose, to show the challenges older, larger women face, but until she gets pregnant, I kind of don’t want to hear anymore about it. It seems like every reality show has a cast member wanting to get pregnant. Just my opinion, of course, it’s a dud of a storyline. Vanessa, happy for you, but enough about your vagina. Wow, she’s horny lol 5 3 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/150905-s03e06-string-cheese-as-far-as-the-eye-can-see/#findComment-8524577
LeesburgLee December 5 Share December 5 Agreed that Scott is a man-baby, but IMO his mother is a real piece of work. The glee she showed when telling the doctor about Scott's cheating and her smug grin at Scott when the wrappers were found…. Yikes. She may say she doesn’t like how he lives or what he eats, but that woman has control of him and I don’t think she’s planning to give it up any time soon. She creeped me out. 5 2 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/150905-s03e06-string-cheese-as-far-as-the-eye-can-see/#findComment-8524952

Yeah, she shouldn't be so smug- she raised him. And she apparently put up with his hiding food wrappers (& spoons with peanut butter on them in the couch!) since he was a kid , risking Mice, bugs, and smells. She does love to stick it to him in front of other people. Meghan was really kind toward Scott. She surprised me. But Vanessa was making mean faces and derogatory comments about the size of the clothes while they shopped together. She's forgetting what size she was at one time. 3 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/150905-s03e06-string-cheese-as-far-as-the-eye-can-see/#findComment-8525512
BAForever December 5 Share December 5 Agree about Scott and his mom- they have a weird dynamic. Lola or Dr. Paradise would be all over their relationship. I'm enjoying Scott. He'd be one of those delusional poundticipants I loved on 600 lb Life. The clothes shopping was cringeworthy. Nothing in that store was going to fit. Was it a Goodwill or Salvation Army place? Looked too nice to be either.... 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/150905-s03e06-string-cheese-as-far-as-the-eye-can-see/#findComment-8525533

Passing Strange December 6 Share December 6 The hysteria over 500 calories per day of string cheese was ridiculous. Scott hasn't lost a significant about of weight, so he's eating over 5000 calories per day. I'm thinking string cheese isn't the problem here. I'm not sure Megan is the best person to be giving weight loss advice. Someone needs to tell Vannessa that sex is like money: Those who really have it don't talk about it. 3 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/150905-s03e06-string-cheese-as-far-as-the-eye-can-see/#findComment-8526415

She’s probably sick of his lying about food and was glad to set the doctor straight. Scott is immature and so grossly obese that he’ll be bedridden soon if he doesn’t get it together. I doubt his mother will want to wait on him when he can’t get out of bed because of his obesity but she might be the first relative that gets him two pieces of toast and an egg for breakfast and blocks food from being delivered to her house. 4 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/150905-s03e06-string-cheese-as-far-as-the-eye-can-see/#findComment-8526956

Its like chewing wax. Its not sweet or crunchy. doesn't even taste like cheese. So weird. 4 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/150905-s03e06-string-cheese-as-far-as-the-eye-can-see/#findComment-8531042
