Really? I know the show is a superstore actor recycling center at this point, but did they really have to add Mateo? Just seeing his actor on screen gives me PTSD. This better be a one episode thing.

The "I want to murder all of these people" joke was funny 🤣 and Keith is so cute & wholesome. Overall I thought this episode was really good on the jokes and both storylines were true to life & engaging.

I had the opposite reaction @Harvey to seeing Nico Santos, but I do realize that opinions vary.  I enjoyed the episode, especially Val pretending she was part of the gang to fit in.  I like enough of the characters/actors to be willing to give it some time to build and I hope it gets the chance to do so.

I just found Mateo to have no redeeming qualites. Very bad human being I'd like to forget.

Anyway, if they are determined to invite Superstore actors to the show, they should get Jonah's actor! 😍 Now that would be cool. He could be a substitute surgeon.

This show frustrates me.  I want it be better, but it really seems to struggle to get beyond average.

That's where I am so far too. The ingredients are all there - actors, concept - but the writing is mediocre. It's like they spit out a rough draft of the script then just go ahead and shoot it without trying to punch it up and make it better.

Ben Feldman has been working on Anne Rice's Mayfair Witches Season 2.

Oof. Now that show is REALLY bad.

I much prefer this episode because the healthcare workers were being petty and insane towards each other. We had minimum appearance by patients, and no cast members being incompetent at healthcare in ways that, in previous episodes, were either unbelievable or hard to stomach. Even Joyce seem like an actual human being.

(In fact, this show -- or another -- should run with that conceit: have two different worlds, complete with different lighting and looks. In one, the doctors and nurses are normal and competent professionals with patients...and then we can cut to the other, behind-the-scenes world.)

I don’t think that worked very well in that other show
