Is Isabella learning the same lesson every week?  Hasn't it sunk in yet that she has no real world experience and she needs to step back and learn from those who do?  Good grief!  Her trying to school Melissa (I want to call her Barbara Jean because I can't remember her character's name here) in bartending, something Melissa's character has been doing longer than Isabella has been alive, is ridiculous.  My new assistant tried that with me earlier this week -- I just gave her "the look" and said, "Yeah, I got this, but thanks."

I did like the scenes in the fishing cabin, though.

Yeah, I think if they want to save this show they need to write out Isabella.  I actually enjoyed everyone else this episode.  But, Isabella is too entitled and arrogant.  Have her decide to go get a graduate degree or something.  Let's just have wacky hijinks with the other characters and maybe bring in some tavern 'regulars.'  There is the basis of an enjoyable show here, but not as long as they keep Isabella.

Your description sounds a lot like "Cheers."  Which was a very enjoyable show.

I think if they'd started the show without Isabella, and established the Happy's Place people first, it might have been better.  Maybe even have Happy himself in the first episode, although his dying in the pilot (instead of just before) might be weird.  Then bring in Isabella in the second or third episode.  Probably would still need a different actor, though.

I think the whole premise is flawed.  Happy loved Isabella enough to leave her half of the tavern, but he never met her and never talked about her.  He could have easily brought her into his world before he died.

And don’t forget how she screamed at the woman who wrongly I have to admit yelled out  where is her drink, something about Boomer. I hate when younger people call people older than them. Boomers as an insult. Go to hell beotch.

Well, when someone is rude, they'll be met with rudeness back.

I didn't have a problem with Isabella at first, even if it really makes zero sense that Happy would leave her half the bar, but she just gets worse and worse. The show really would be better off without her.

It must be doing OK though since they just ordered more eps.

Hey Isabella...maybe every episode you don't have to wear an outfit with a midriff..

I liked this actress in The Baker and the Beauty.. do NOT care for her character here. She's a bitch...and not even an enjoyable one.

As always. .JMHO!!

Have to go look that up-I can’t remember seeing her in anything, so if she’s had successful parts, maybe her performance here is bad direction. If the character is bold enough to walk in the door, she shouldn’t be so “knee-jerk” defensive/aggressive. It does tend to be obnoxious.

That series only lasted one season but I really liked it. She was the younger sister of the main character Natalhie Kelley, who i like. Anyway her part was fairly small. She was ok but not outstanding.
