Rodney Wednesday at 06:45 PM Share Wednesday at 06:45 PM The ambassador being gay I did not see coming. Nor did I see it coming that his boyfriend would be the culprit. That poor kid, Lewis, lost his life needlessly through a food allergy? Shit. What a horrible way to go. And he wasn't even supposed to die. But if Mateo didn't want him to die, then . . . couldn't he have just left his EpiPen on him? Looks like the show finally figured out how to use Phoebe and Rizwan. Phoebe did the right thing in busting her new mentor. Rizwan used Alec's lesson to crack the case. Both were used surprisingly well in this episode. They're doing a better job of incorporating Alec's lessons into the cases. I never would've guessed that spotting couples would prove pivotal in solving the case. Poor Kylie getting such a crap office. What's SAC? 2 Link to comment

No, because the killer needed the paramedics to come and sneak in the gun. I liked this ep. Immediately I suspected the woman who brought the guy as her plus-one, but once Alec was sitting there talking to her, I figured she was a red herring. I was happy with how the show incorporated Alec's classroom experiment into the crime, as @Rodney said. I'm still not a fan of Marisa, the character or the actress. 2 Link to comment

Yes, I get that, but he could've left the pen and had the paramedics come in. It's happened before in real life, so it could've happened here. Link to comment

Trini Thursday at 03:38 AM Share Thursday at 03:38 AM Okay, they're slowly getting better at incorporating the classroom concepts/experiments into the cases. (Also, do I get to pat myself on the back for correctly guessing which couple was real?) Pretty interesting case; and I liked that they couldn't do most of the typical 'cop stuff' because everyone had to stay in one place. And I'll give them props for making Rizwan useful. I still don't care about Phoebe and her unconnected subplot; but it was a good idea to add Kylie to it, or else I would have skipped the whole thing. Minus points for: 1) The security team not knowing about the secret passages -- dumb on several levels. 2) The whole thing where Rizwan went undercover to flush out the shooter -- Have TV writers never worked on a team before?? Even if the other waiters *somehow* didn't notice a random new guy showing up in the middle of the event, the managers/leaders/coordinators would. Especially if this event was supposedly as high profile, high security as they said. 2 Link to comment

seacliffsal Thursday at 05:28 PM Share Thursday at 05:28 PM I promise that I have really, really, really tried to like this show. But, this episode finally did me in. Too many moments of disbelief throughout the episode. Lack security, allowing Cosmo to practice his speech alone in the huge hallway, guests that weren't known by anyone (really, your research assistant as your plus one in a facility that would have required prior notification of guests in order to conduct background checks? the second cousin bringing an even less known guest?). Different number of paramedics leaving a secure facility as entered it? Oh, and a subplot about a plagiarizing professor that I just don't care about! I think this show had potential but I am unable to continue. 1 Link to comment

What happened to the new assistant? Not sure if he quit already (they didn't even mention him and I didn't see him in the couples exercise) it's so obvious he's not going to stay and Phoebe is going to come back. Can we just get on with it already? Agree that the bride totally looked like Jessica Chastain and also that there was a lot of foolishness and having to suspend disbelief in this episode. One thing I did like was at the wedding Alec didn't have on his little beanie! I was starting to wonder if I had missed something and he had scares on his scalp or something. 1 Link to comment

Even though an epi pen has been used successfully, protocols require moving the anaphylactic patient to a higher level of care immediately after the incident. 1 Link to comment
