chitowngirl October 23 Share October 23 The fates of a patient in critical condition and a helicopter-bound medical team hang in the balance; Teddy and Owen work on their marriage; Bailey, Blue and Link treat a hospital employee. 1 Link to comment
ams1001 October 25 Share October 25 (edited) Weber ran through the whole extensive process of the gene therapy like it was nothing, and then seemed surprised that the patient didn't immediately jump at the chance? babyrambo October 25 Share October 25 I expected a lot more to happen with the helicopter and was waiting for something wild but it was really just a whole lot of nothing? Not sure what was the point of that plot then. Or Jo Link and these twins that will be eventually sent to wherever it is that all the Greys kids that aren’t Zola go to fade away. Also not sure where they’re going with Amelia/Beltran/Ndugu but I wish they’d stop dragging it and just focus on Amelia and Monica already. 4 Link to comment

In fairness to him, I would have presumed if the interns were coming to me about how a patient cannot afford the cost of a restorative therapy, that they would have explained what the therapy entailed. That they all spent time with the patient telling him about the therapy without letting him know about how much of his time and life would need to be dedicated to it before it worked was a failure on their parts. I will admit I legit laughed that Jo's solution to having the car surrounded by gay pastor and Linc, when neither she nor Levi had any interest in speaking to them, was simply to drive away. 2 Link to comment

If I didn’t know better, I would have thought Schmidt was the junior and Lucas was in charge, just based on the conversation in the helicopter. And the dead husband misunderstanding…a whole lot of nothing. And if I understand correctly, Schmidt is being offered a peds “something” in Texas??? Guess this is how he leaves the show. 2 Link to comment

Yes, I think Beltran said other doctors had been able to use a research position to get a fellowship similar to the one that Schmidt lost out on. 10 hours ago, DEL901 said: Guess this is how he leaves the show. That's my thought. I presume he's going to take the chaplain with him, as a way to explain why they are rushing that relationship, so he can go out with a happy ending. 2 Link to comment
MarylandGirl October 25 Share October 25 Knowing that Schmitt was leaving, I was more nervous in the helicopter scenes, fearing they'd kill him. Glad they didn't. Would be nice if he had a happy ending--even if not with the pastor, at least being able to pursue a career in peds. Though I find him more tolerable now, so kinda wish he was staying. Was surprised Yasuda didn't appear at all--she'll at least have a good-bye ep of some kind, I hope? Or did I zone out too much last ep and that was actually her good-bye? Also, it may have seemed a bit heavy-handed on the sickle cell, but knowing someone whose child has it, it's really awful, and there needs to be more research and progress on it. 4 Link to comment

Diana Berry October 27 Share October 27 Question. The doc said he was helping the maintenance man because he was alone and had no family. Then when he was offered treatment by the corporate lady he said he couldn’t because he had a special needs child. I’m confused? Link to comment

I thought it was the band director guy that had no family - two different patients. But then again I was only half watching and I can't even keep track of all the doctors, let alone the patients. 2 Link to comment

I still don’t even know the med students or interns whatever they are names after three years. This is my multi tasking show. Funny that other popular medical show keeps my interest for the whole hour. 2 Link to comment
RedbirdNelly Thursday at 01:35 PM Share Thursday at 01:35 PM I just learned from these posts that Schmidt is leaving. I'm so happy to hear that. I've been wishing that his character would leave/get electrocuted in that ambulance, etc for years. He's a bit less annoying now but still. I never got his character at all. I'm fine with him having a happy exit though as long as he leaves. 2 1 Link to comment
