What a fun opening  number. Well done Mandy Moore.

Stephen's dance was fun. I don't know about technical stuff but I feel like the Charleston fits his energy well.

Not his best dance, he seemed  a little behind  Rylee.

I've never seen Hercules but that's a terrible song for a Charleston.

Stephen is adorable.   But he is not a smooth dancer and doesn't seem to be improving as the weeks go on.  YMMV.

Yeah, I think some of that opening bit did throw him off a little, which might explain him being a little ahead of the music in general. Like he was trying to catch up and got a little frentic as a result.

Still a cute, fun dnace, though. And all the cartwhee/somersault stuff was impressive.

I have to agree.  I enjoy him, but his dance level doesn’t appear to have changed.   Maybe it is partly his very inexperienced teacher?

Looks like we’re skimping on wardrobe on Disney night. None of the dancers look Disney spectacular and none of the judges and hosts are Disney’d up at all. 
Dwts adjacent, I saw Daisy on the Daisy commercial.

Is it just me or did Jenn and Sasha have very little Rumba content?

Jenn and Sasha. Jenn looks lovely with the red wig.

That was nice, she has improved,  but it wasn't  anything  special

To the untrained eye, there wasn't a whole lot of Rumba content in that dance. Lots of posing and tricks with minimal dance steps. Disagree with Carrie Ann it was "a proper Rumba." I mean the parts that were Rumba, sure, but way too much posing.

I liked Jenn and Sasha's dance, myself. I don't know about the technical stuff, but I liked how they captured the sweet romance of the song.

So far nothing special. We’re more than 1/2 way through the season and by now we usually get better than this with a few well deserved 10s. Hope the rest of the night is better.

Chandler is a very good dancer, but not as good as previous season ringers.

I wasn’t wowed by the paso, it was good, not great. She had the Disney star advantage and I felt this dance could have also worked next week for Halloween night.

The choreography  was very good. Not a lot of dancing  from Phaedra

Okay, I get the immunity now.  There will be 7 dancers next week, so whoever (Chandler) has the highest score won’t have to compete.   Eta. In the dance off.

I'm not sure Phaedra would be easy to coach. 

Val doesn't  look like a happy bunny, dog.

Phaedra hair and makeup were spectacular and that’s all the positive I got.

All 8s is an abomination.

Joey got just 1 point more than Phaedra?   He was robbed.

They are inflating phaedras scores for one reason and one reason only. She has Val. If it were another pro those scores would be lower.
