Definitely liked this though it is essentially a sad early end for patient Steve. Though I didn’t understand what his unit was doing differently with their big gun than any other artillery unit that doesn’t have its members get CTE

I’m really liking this show. I find that I watch it once to just see it and then I zero in on the different patients and doctors/interns. 
 

I’m also reading the various articles that are then written.  I’m learning a lot.  And plan on learning a lot more.

Perhaps these particular units were some of the first who never rotated out of that duty. They did say their entire tour consisted of only the big gun firing and that they never rotated out of that duty. I thought the voice over at the end gave some hope for rehab, but certainly there’s more awareness now for prevention.

I think it was because it was so constant .  Unlike those on the front lines that get rotated out. Maybe?

One thing that was bugging me was that they were using Other Than Honorable and Dishonorable Discharge interchangeably. I was never in the military (nor any of my family), but from what I understand from what I have read, those are two distinctly different things - with the DD being "You messed up badly, now here's the military equivalent of a felony. Here's time in military prison." and the OTH being "You screwed up, but not felony-level bad. No benefits for you."

Certainly seemed that way. The good part was the lecture/demo he was able to give to a reluctant panel whose members may be in a position to change the policy.

I re-watched the show paying closer attention.  Picked up a lot of what was being said here.

I didn't even know articles are being written. Do you recommend any in particular?

@possibilities  I just search Brilliant Minds and go from there.  The recaps come up and then I dig further from there.  And obviously look to see what people post here.  

I have to say that John Doe storyline really has me pulled in.  Truthfully the show has me pulled in

This is easily the best new medical show of the season. The only competition is Doctor Odyssey, but still.

Okay, then this is easily the best new medical show of the season so far.

Although it's a mockumentary so ehhh who knows, there's a lot more duds than What We Do In The Shadows out there.

I hate to say it because I had high hopes for this show, but I'm just not feeling it yet.  I'll still give it time.  Frankly, I don't think ZQ is a good actor.  Doc Odyssey has surprised me by actually being entertaining and interesting.

imo Odyssey is too Love Boat-y

and if there were a trope bingo, Odyssey would have most of its card filled
