AntFTW October 8 Share October 8 Quote A battle erupts and the players must find their inner Gladiator to take out their competition and achieve glory and safety; a vote from one team causes friends to question whether they were ever on the same. Air date: October 9, 2024 Link to comment
AntFTW October 10 Author Share October 10 Kaycee calling Jenny a rookie is…interesting. And all that huffing and puffing about Jenny and Theo in the interviews, but saying nothing when she’s in the house and barely getting any screen time when she’s in the house. I feel like Cory always says “if you throw me in, I’m gonna take it as a personal shot.” Am I wrong? I feel like he says that all the time. Is that supposed be a threat? Is someone supposed to cower in fear because you take it personally? Michele clocked that their Era 4 meeting was bullshit and that cracked me up. It was great politics on Theo’s part. Spread the blame if you can. They wasted no time saying it was a team decision. 😂 Era 2 just keeps dodging elimination. 😂 Averey! 😭 Guard your face!!!! Derrick is a freak of nature! Era 1 is on life-support. Only Rachel remains and my guess is that if Rachel gets last place or is nominated into elimination by the winners, there will only be a women’s elimination. It looks like Rachel is not going to catch a break. The men who are targets can take the risk, conspire to make sure Rachel goes in (not that much conspiring is needed), and see if there will be a men’s elimination. 3 Link to comment
joanne3482 October 10 Share October 10 Listening to Cory and Josh fight, didn't Cory totally screw over Josh in a previous Challenge? I knew Derrick wasn't going to beat Cory, but I could hope. 1 Link to comment
Lantern7 October 10 Share October 10 (edited) Hey, I just remembered something. This episode was brought to you by Gladiator 2. "Gladiator 2: We're Not Bothered By The Lack Of Box Office For The Joker Sequel!" *sigh* This is a depressing slog of a season. The only person from Era I left is Rachel, and there's a good chance she might equal Sarah Greyson's mark of winning five times in elimination, if not more. Is it messed up of me to not want that? After all, Rachel was in the group that wanted Sarah off the team way back in The Gauntlet. On the bright side, I can imagine her punching Averey, and Adam feeling every punch his girl absorbed. At least Derrick got to go out as a warrior. I don't know if he truly qualifies for GOAT status, but he gave it his all against Cory. Bright side about Cory staying in the game: he can potentially "take care" of Josh personally. The Goof continues to bug. ETA: Johnny can leave anytime. Nothing says "fun" like sped-up footage of him verbally jacking off in a confessional segment. Edited October 10 by Lantern7 2 Link to comment

Derrick put up a hell of a fight though, even with an injured leg. I'm not sure how much of the optics look good for Derrick and/or poorly for Cory because for a guy with one good leg, you'd think it wouldn't have been that close. 9 hours ago, Lantern7 said: At least Derrick got to go out as a warrior. I give him GOAT status just because, obviously, he's a 3x winner but on top of that he has no quit in him. The elimination with Joss on Vendettas is one for the record books. bunnyface October 10 Share October 10 Derrick had a torn ACL and meniscus. Myself, personally, would have been rolling around on the ground whimpering, not almost beating Cory in a challenge. That's good enough for GOAT status for me and I think Cory should be a little embarrassed he almost got beat by a 3-legged dog, to use Derrick's own terminology. Goodness gracious. 12 Link to comment
mojoween October 10 Share October 10 Thought for sure TJ was going to tell Rachel to pick an Era and join that team. John following Ryan around and not letting him leave peacefully is classic bully behavior. Ahh this show. Continuously making challenges that don’t take into account team size is kind of impressive, actually. You want fair? Fuck fair. 5 2 Link to comment
LaurelleJ October 11 Share October 11 I really didn't think about the fact that if Rachel gets last place in the challenge, they might not have a male elimination. Thinking about it quickly, they might switch to last place team and then last 2nd to last place for the male to keep the numbers correct. I hope that the next challenge Rachel doesn't get last place and another team gets sent directly to elimination. It would be great if the challenge were something like a mini final where a single person could thrive and Rachel beats all the teams. I would love to see her sitting at the head of the table alone and watching the other eras squirm for once. Seeing era 1 go out like this is so sad. Corey was doing the most for no reason in my opinion. Relax. 5 Link to comment

AntFTW October 11 Author Share October 11 This episode is probably the most entertaining Era 4 has been all season. 1 Link to comment

Most of the Challengers seemed to expect a change in the format or structure of the game since Era I was down to one person. Thats probably coming soon. The Daily, they had no chance, the game favored teams with numbers. Also it was like Hall Brawl, favored strength and size. The women didn’t even try to engage with Jenny. The vote was whatever. Devin and Michelle are moles against their Eras because of poli dicking — Michelle was into that guy one season with all kinds of tats and piercings, now with Devin, talk about range. Avery didn’t want to be hit during the Daily because her face is her moneymaker but then said she boxes at home? Yet she took a lot of blows to the head. Derek just couldn’t move when he was evading. Yeah, I've said this before--talk about the opposite of having a "type." She also had a relationship with Wendell from Survivor after they both won their seasons but they had broken up before Winners at War, which made their games awkward. And wasn't she kind of into Emanuel just during one of their seasons? Indeed, range! (I'd say that with the exception of Calum--sorry Calum--the other three are pretty smart guys, so at least they have that in common). Oh, and Jay. Ugh, Jay. I guess their dating period was brief and ended before ride or dies. (had to look it up, heh). Edited October 14 by Jobiska Link to comment
jsm1125 November 9 Share November 9 I wonder why Avery was so under-edited for all but the episode where Tony went home and for this episode. She was anything but boring during her Real World season and during Exes II, so I doubt it’s because of that. What kind of Svengali effect does Kaycee have on the people she plays with? Because I think she low key gaslights people, going back to Total Madness with Bayleigh. Also, Jenny debuting before you ever did doesn’t make her a rookie! 1 Link to comment
