paigow September 28 Author Share September 28 FYI. Vic Aguilar is a non-canon character. So no predetermined arc / endpoint exists for him. 4 Link to comment

peridot September 30 Share September 30 It's a shame that Oz's own mother is pushing him to raise the stakes. He's tap dancing on a very thin rope. Wow, Sofia killed 7 women? Yikes. Her cousin shouldn't have tried to reach out to her if she didn't mean it. I really hope Sofia won't do anything to that kid. It looks like her therapist is a bit too close to her. She pulled away, but I wonder if she's going to give in eventually. Oz's lesson to Vic was harsh, but necessary. I wonder if Oz's lady friend is going to turn on him. I thought I saw a look in her eyes. Link to comment
Snazzy Daisy September 30 Share September 30 A two-faced Penguin! Oz is entangled in his own mess while putting his power play into action. But he is good at reacting and throwing darts until something sticks. He knows how to talk his way out of certain situations. Vic messes up a couple of times — cilantro in the taco order and unable to plant the stolen family jewels in Johnny Viti’s car. Vic is not the younger version of you, Oz! Your bruised ego isn’t an excuse to take it out on him. One day, Vic will freak out. Oz is surrounded by women with strong personality — Sofia Falcone, Nadia Maroni, Eve Karlo and even Francis Cobb. Quote “If my son is nothing, what am I?” Why Oz lies to Sofia about his mom being dead? To keep Francis safe? The Penguin and the Hangman will be dancing together. 🔥 Ohh, I appreciate this subtle creativity with the “beak”. 🐧 1 Link to comment

The Youtube channel New Rockstars had a theory about this that I really liked: Luca sent the cousin (his daughter) to Sophia to softly introduce the idea of a trip to Italy. I think Sophia knows she's being manipulated which is why she threatens the little girl. She doesn't know what her cousin is trying to pull but she's warning her what the price will be. I'm pretty sure that's where her shame comes from later, when Luca basically orders her to go to Italy. She's realizing she threatened the wrong person. 1 2 Link to comment

thuganomics85 October 2 Share October 2 Well, if you need to find someone believable enough to marry a Clancy Brown character, you really can't go wrong with Shohreh Aghdashloo! Loved seeing her as Nadia and I'm looking forward to seeing how the Maronis continue to factor in here. I noticed they did the classic bit where she keeps insulting Oswald with her native tongue (not sure what language it is) and assumes he doesn't know. Makes me wonder if they will follow it with the classic trope of him actually knowing the language the entire time and just simply acting like he doesn't to make him look less of a threat. Oswald's attempt to play both sides is already off to a rocky start, as what was suppose to be a simple "crash and grab", ends up with him close to death door himself, thanks to Jimmy/Michael Kelly making him ride in the van he wasn't suppose to. He manages to survive, but that leads to Sofia accurately suspecting there is a mole in the family. Oswald initially wants to frame Jimmy, but after Vic fails to plant some evidence, he goes to Plan C (or is it D or E at this point), and makes it look like it was Sofia's loyal henchman instead. So, now he's dead, and Sofia seems to trust Oswald even more than before. He certainly stumbled into a winning formula it seems! Always good seeing Scott Cohen (still remember him best Wolf from The 10th Kingdom miniseries almost 25 years ago!) Interesting that Luca seems competent enough so far, since Oswald seems to think so little of him. I imagine Eva's worries will turn out to be true and she will eventually be in a position where she either has to risk her own life to protect Oswald or betray him. Theo Rossi's therapist will clearly end up being no good. I wonder if any other familiar names got an early release from Arkham Asylum as well. Colin Farrell continues to be a chameleon and makes Oswald a great lead character, but hot damn, if Cristin Milioti doesn't manage to steal every scene she's featured in. These two together are going to be such a treat! 5 Link to comment

It is Persian aka Farsi. The showrunners wanted to show that the Maronis needed Persian Mob soldiers- whom Nadia controlled - in the post Carmine chaos. Link to comment
Tachi Rocinante October 4 Share October 4 All Vic had to do was drop the jewels and escape. The driver would then become an eyewitness that the jewels came from his boss's car. Anyway, don't any of these jabronis know what Oz's young driver looks like? He's been to the house multiple times now. 1 Link to comment

That's why the multiple subway rides as shown in the last episode. If you ride 2-3 subways during a busy time then go out to a surface parking lot, it'll be pretty hard for someone, cop or not, to tail you without being obvious. In other words, a cop tailing him would see him enter the subway station and might even track him for the first ride but would lose him afterwards, especially if Oz changes up the stops and whatnot. They'll know he's up to something but won't know where or with whom. Link to comment
