Does anybody know if the FBI shows are being renewed there!? As really CBS would be not so bright not to renew them.

"CBS has renewed the NCIS franchise, CSI: Vegas; comedies Young Sheldon, The Neighborhood and Bob Hearts Abishola; breakout hit Ghosts; and drama S.W.A.T., while veteran Bull is ending its run this season. There are several non-bubble shows that are yet to be picked up, most notably, CBS' top scripted series, FBI."

A cast member exits ahead of Season 2.

I will miss Jaeger, she was my favorite character on this show. I just can’t connect with the main characters on this show as much as on the other 2 FBI’s for some reason, the show got better as season 1 went on, but I just can’t connect with the main characters as much, and Jaeger was my favorite.

I saw the picture of the actress who will (sadly) be replacing Jaeger. She seems younger, so I suspect she will become a love interest; and will have more camera time than her predecessor. Jaeger was one of the best parts of the show; I wonder why she left.

Hope that this woman can replace Jaeger and do her justice. I think that the actress, Christine Paul did not want to be tied to a show for in the long run. Hope that the new Europol agent will not be a love interest. Jaeger was like a mother figure and one of the very few that was not intimidated by Scott and his team. And one of the very few who could outtalk the team when their arrogance gets out of control.

Am giving this show another chance as am so sick of watching Dylan McDermott in FMW. I’d rather watch Scott Forrester than Remy Scott.

An interesting premiere with great stunts by Luke Kleintank.

The name Smitty reminds me of the lazy cop from The Rookie

Jamie is so predictable, asking Scott about Smitty and asking Smitty about Scott. We know what you’re doing girl…😆

And the best part is… the adorable TANK!

😍😍😍

‘Chicago Fire’ Co-Creator and Showrunner Derek Haas Leaving One Chicago Franchise, Wolf Entertainment After 10 Years (EXCLUSIVE)

“Although I am leaving Wolf Entertainment next year to focus on creating new shows, I’m entirely committed to delivering amazing episodes of ‘Chicago Fire’ and ‘FBI: International’ through the end of the current seasons. I learned everything I know about storytelling, pace, characters, production values, and hiring the best cast, crews, and staffs from Dick Wolf and Peter Jankowski, and as hard as it is to leave a place you love and have called home for over a decade, including incredible support from Universal Television, NBC and CBS, I look forward to building my own brand in entertainment. That said, there are many, many twists and turns still to write on these two shows between now and May, so stay tuned for some epic surprises.”

FBI: International's Luke Kleintank on Forrester's Dilemma: 'He Will Go to Any Lengths to Stay on the Fly Team, But...'

“McKenna is a big question mark for Scott and the team,” says Kleintank. “Her storyline remains ambiguous at the moment — no one knows whether she’s good or bad just yet. But I think Scott is cautiously optimistic.”

“It doesn’t help that Dandridge has connections in Washington, particularly that of very powerful senators…,” Kleintank previews.

“I think Scott will go to any lengths to stay a part of the Fly Team,” says Kleintank. “But if that means his colleagues lose their jobs, he would walk away.”

FBI: International Names New Showrunner Amid Dick Wolf Series Leadership Changes

Quote

FBI: International has promoted executive producer Matt Olmstead to the position of showrunner for the series’ upcoming Season 3, TVLine has learned.

The staffing change comes as Dick Wolf’s multiple primetime dramas on CBS and NBC shore up leadership for the TV season ahead and re-open their writers rooms following the Writers Guild of America strike.

Olmstead is a known entity at Wolf Entertainment; he previously served as showrunner on NBC’s Chicago Fire and co-created Chicago P.D.

Cast is getting younger and younger. As really nothing wrong but having Heida leave as really was getting to warm up to her. But that though I will be sad to see her go, wish her nothing but the best. But I really miss Christiane Paul as Jaeger was my favorite. Wished they could had found a way to keep her.

Matt’s Inside Line: Scoop on NCIS, Ghosts, FBI: Most Wanted, Grey’s, TWD, Chicago P.D., Station 19 and More!

Q: In FBI: International‘s [Feb. 27] episode, we learned that Tate (played by Season 3 addition Christine Wolfe) has a daughter. Will we learn anymore about her this season?

Quote

It sounds like it! When I delivered your Q to EP Matt Olmstead, he wrote back to preview that “a custody issue with her daughter’s Hungarian father comes to a head.”

Luke Kleintank who plays Scott Forrester is leaving the show at the end of this season (May 7th).  Just announced.  Hmmm…

I'm not surprised Luke is leaving since he had some time off last year after he had a baby.  With where the show films, it's just not the same at all as being an FBI or FBI:Most Wanted cast member with a family.

I don't always like Scott, but he is 100% the leader of the team.  I don't buy anyone else on the current team stepping into his spot (or Jamie Kellett, for that matter, if she had stayed).  The only person we've seen so far that I would accept as the team leader is Katrin Jaeger, and she's obviously not coming back as a regular.

I would prefer that Smitty takes over than Vo getting another promotion magically.

I would also accept Remi Scott from FBI:Most Wanted moving overseas to lead the Fly Team, so I could enjoy Most Wanted more and then stop watching International altogether, bwahahah.

I for one will not miss Scott. The guy was so arrogant and full of himself. Treated law enforcement from one country to another with contempt. He would had been fired on the spot treating people like garbage. He places high standards on his team but never at all himself. Guy asks for loyalty from his colleagues but never gives in return.

Sure he is the boss. But still he needs to be taken down a notch or two. Good luck to Luke K!

Chicago P.D. Vet Jesse Lee Soffer Joins FBI: International — But There’s a Twist!

Spoiler

Chicago P.D. vet Jesse Lee Soffer is returning to the Dick Wolf TV universe as a series regular for Season 4 of CBS‘ FBI: International.

The “twist” is that although NBC’s #OneChicago and CBS’ #TheFBIs share a universe, Soffer will not be reprising his role as former Intelligence Unit member Jay Halstead on FBI: International; instead, TVLine hears he will be playing a new, yet-to-be-named character.

We'll be seeing Tank again, yay!

Matt’s Inside Line: Scoop on Grey’s, Superman & Lois, FBI: International, Blue Bloods, Lincoln Lawyer, Equalizer, Criminal Minds, Wynonna Earp and More!

Q: Since Luke’s exit last season on FBI: International, will we get to see Tank in Season 4?

Sorry if the wait for an answer to this was ruff, but I can now confirm that Tank will make his Season 4 debut in the second episode.

I started watching this show only to see if I liked it enough to add it to my shows when Jesse joins.  It's not bad, and I like the European locations a lot.  Will it matter than I've only seen seasons 1 and 2 and will skip 3 to go to 4?  I know the major plot points (who leaves and where they go).  That seems like enough?

You watched S01 and S02, that means you already know Andre, Vo, Smitty and Tank.

If you skip S03, you will only miss out on Jamie & Scott saying sayonara, and getting to know Amanda Tate. Her minions at their Budapest HQ are interchangeable. Amanda is still relatively new to the Fly Team since S03 is a short season. We will learn more about her in S04.

Matt’s Inside Line: Scoop on Superman, Agatha, Matlock, FBI: International, NCIS, Found, Chicago Fire and More!

Q: I know there’s a lot of excitement around Jesse Lee Soffer joining FBI: International, but do you have any scoop on other characters? Andre, Amanda, Smitty, Vo?

Quote

And how! Smitty will embark on bit of a personal awakening early in Season 4 (premiering Oct. 15); Tate once again has to brave the field, risking her life in the process; Vo must navigate her new partnership with Soffer’s Mitchell; and Raines solidifies himself as a confidante to all members of the Fly Team.
