She is from Kleinburg is about 35 miles from Toronto and 350 miles to Montreal.  But like all Canadians, she’s probably taken some French in school and like many, visited Montreal.

Poor Joey just needs a weekend of downtime to refresh. Sounds like he’s exhausted from having to be “on” nonstop, and now he’s spiraling. If they fall in love with “Joey the Bachelor, are they still going to love him when he goes back to being an average Joe?

Tonight Joey wants to dig deeper. What about for those who have already shared their sob stories?! I hope they have a sobbier story on reserve! This one who I don’t know is setting the bar of just crying over today. I think most will follow suit.

Kelsey is falling for Joey—and Joey seems equally smitten.

Lexi is talking about wanting to get married and have kids…after last week saying she can’t have kids. Granted,  they could adopt or whatever, but it just seems like she forgot what her sob story was and now is going the other extreme about not waiting to have kids.

If she needs IVF, surrogacy or even adoption, these can take years, so she probably wants to get a quick start.   But Joey made sense in wanting to build a solid foundation before starting a family.

i really like Joey, that’s 2 bachs in a row I actually like and feel they aren’t total jerks. It probably also helps I watched 4 episodes of Juan Pablo’s season today.

Imagine if Maria, Sydney, Lea and Jess all show up in Paradise. It will be round 2 or probably round 5 by then.

I haven’t watched the last few bachelor/ette shows because I was losing interest in them and the now common producer interference and silly drama. I wish I started watching this season with the VERY CUTE JOEY from the beginning and will have to go back and watch it from the start.

They finally have a real sweetheart of a guy who is also extremely good looking and not the cookie cutter look of male leads they have been giving the lead to for so many seasons after season.

I like this Joey fellow. A lot! 😍

Did Kelsey escape a cult or something?! This is very odd the way she’s saying “a religion.”’ But I assume the producers don’t want members of X church boycotting them or suing them for slander or whatever.

So many bachelors (and a lot of bachelorettes) when someone spills their guts barely react.  It is like they checked an item off the mental check list.  Time to make out.  Joey really listens, asks questions and makes it clear he has empathy.

Could be JW.  They aren’t allowed to participate in higher education (I have family members in that religion).

Holy crap! Everyone’s heads are going to explode whemn Maria comes back with her Pretty Woman shopping spree. I love how unique she is for this show, her energy is infectious. I’d love her to be the next bachelorette.

Oh, no! Maria is getting the princess date!! The girls are going to claw her eyes out….which is exactly why the producers gave her this date.

Joey just always seems so relaxed with her.  That’s what so many of them forget.  Relax.  You can’t force a connection. I don’t know if she’ll be f1, but she’ll be around for a while.

Did Joey ask for more natural-looking women before the cast was chosen? I've noticed that several of them that he seems to like best don't wear much makeup or have overly-styled hair or ginormous un-bouncy boobs. It's so refreshing to see real young women like Daisy, Maria, and Rachel.

I feel for Lexi.  Someone with her medical history can’t dawdle with regard to kids….but has ANY bachelor or bachelorette jumped right into marriage and kids right away?    It has always been a few years, Gerry and Theresa excepted for obvious reasons.  

Heck, other than Gerry and Sean, no bachelor has ever married their F1. 

Joey didn’t get false hope up or try to talk her into staying, only to dump her later as others have done.   Good for him.

I think Sean and Catherine had kids pretty quick.  Also Tanner and Jade , I think.

Lexi’s going to take her chances in Paradise or see who slides into her DMs. Joey is 26, right? They really are in two different phases in life. Well, we saw one of the infamous “I don’t think I can go on” quotes from the dramatic season previews. Turns out he’s not that broken up over Lexi, specifically, but hypothetically what if the person he does fall for leaves? I guess if this were fiction, it could still be foreshadowing for the supposed dramatic finale.

I sincerely hope Lexi doesn’t go looking for her baby daddy in paradise, nuhhuh. She did rob me of the reaction to Maria’s princess date though by being the bigger story. Clever move by Daisy with the foot massage and the innuendos.

In hindsight, I’m sorry Jess didn’t get that time with Joey last week.  He could have sent her home then.  

He gave roses to the three women he had already had 1-1 dates with.    And none of them were named Lea!   Great week. Both remaining mean girls are gone!

I don’t really care for Daisy much.  She lacks substance or something.  Maybe it is just me but I think there are better options for Joey.
