2024 Season

I was trying to work out watching Lewis Black, but I was getting cramps from the monologue. Dry (damp) January kind of makes me roll my eyes. Don't drink if you don't want. I'm not going to force you. I like to drink. I do moderately, probably on the high end. I don't go on a massive bender over the holidays that I have to force myself to dry out for a month though. I think there's a more fundamental issue going on here if 'this is the third year I'm doing dry January.'

I liked the interview too. My phone is way old. I have a galaxy 10. I think another issue that they didn't bring up is that nothing is made to be fixed anymore. We had a 65' hdmi enabled tv that we were using as a monitor for some simulation software and it died. I figured we could just replace a video card or something, but we couldn't even open the unit so it's junked. My old desktop is from 2008, and I could at least replace the video card, and the computer still works fine. My current laptops though, same thing. They can't be fixed.

Looks like administrations have been playing ping-pong with it. Obama announced it for release in 2020, Trump 1.0 pushed it back to 2028, Biden worked to "resuming efforts" to get it made, and now it seems to be slated for 2030. So "forever in limbo" isn't too far off.

I take the point of Klein's book because I do think accessibility was the cause of making people change votes overwhelmingly more than 'woke'. I think it was more perception than reality, and voters are stupid. I think they could have been more demonstrative in telling Democrats who do want to get things done to just stand up and be adults about it. Starting in the cities is a good idea.

Dude though, you're not helping with 'I don't know if I should even laugh'. Shove it up your ass.

Jordan ran with it, but basically said the same thing.

Here's an idea. Maybe vote instead of burning cars? Way to play right into the 'radical leftist' false narrative on the maga right.

I can somewhat appreciate the people in the town halls voicing their displeasure. And not burning cars. It's just too bad that no one knew beforehand that Musk was going to to be appointed to wreck the government. I mean, you'd think the media would have reported on it.

I really like the Worst Wing opening. It is such a better graphic and significantly less annoying than what it replaced.

I actually think TDS has figured out a better way to cover Trump. Drop the outrage and incredulousness, instead simply laugh and eye roll at the ridiculous carelessness and ineptitude. The new opening does it, using Trump's own words. I always thought Trump would have actually liked the prior opening.

I hope someone starts looking at how TDS has now started covering Trump. I think someone smarter than me could apply it to other shows and coverage.
