preeya January 25 Share January 25 What did Charles say to Ripley at the end when they were talking about the intubated patient giving the "thumbs up" sign? Link to comment
CoyoteBlue January 25 Share January 25 Ripley was demonstrating a nerve stimulator earlier and the implication was that Ripley essentially shocked his patient's hand to make it twitch. (Thus the "burn" on her wrist) 1 2 Link to comment
tinderbox January 26 Share January 26 I kept looking at Ripley. I knew I recognize this actor from somewhere and then it hit me. It’s Cormack from last season’s Big Sky!! The much shorter hair cut had me fooled. I LOVE this actor. 2 Link to comment
Proteus January 26 Share January 26 (edited) As soon as I saw Zola, I thought shed be Marcels new love interest. And then he walked in. I will never feel bad for Maggie. Edited January 26 by Proteus 1 Link to comment
jcbrown January 27 Share January 27 Maggie and her whining is completely annoying. Actions have consequences, Maggie. Go away. 2 Link to comment
limecoke January 27 Share January 27 The story arc for Doc Charles and the new guy is pretty predictable. Come on, show, surprise me for once. Ditto, Dr. Ahmad who promises Goodwin she’ll stop going rogue then immediately goes rogue. But she saves everybody!!!!!! Then there’s Maggie. Grow up, dear, you caused the mess, deal with it. I really don't want to sit through Will 2.0. I hope this is the end of Maggie's divorce storyline. I'd rather not see her ex or hear about any of this again. I've hated this storyline from the moment they introduced Vanessa's father. They have to create drama, I suppose. Link to comment
KeithJ January 29 Share January 29 Oh no. Maggie got gaslit. I don’t know why but I found that hilarious. 1 Link to comment

The scripts this season seemed rushed and predictable. Maybe because they had to hurry to film after the strike. Link to comment
CoyoteBlue March 7 Share March 7 "I know this is a bad look, this being probationary and all. But my brain sometimes seizes on an idea and I feel this surge of adrenaline shoot up and I keep telling myself, "Slow down, Zola, slow down."" Yyyyeah, dig yourself a bigger hole. 'Cause there's nothing a hospital plagued by doctors that run off half-cocked wants more than more doctors who can't control themselves. Link to comment

I've been reading the comments here while watching the episode. I thought you'd made up the dialogue, but no, yet another delusional ego in the hospital. 1 Link to comment

I've hated this storyline from the moment they introduced Vanessa's father. They have to create drama, I suppose. IMO they already had plenty of story potential when they were fostering that little boy - they could have had all kinds of plots, from him adjusting to a permanent home, to his health problems, to Maggie and Ben's health problems (both were literally at death's door, magically got 100% better, and never spoke of cancer or other health problems that may have stemmed from, it ever again), to the struggles of being older parents, to the struggles of balancing careers and kids, you name it. But they nixed that, and immediately after, it was as though the couple had nothing to talk about or anything in common. 1 Link to comment
