DanaMB January 13 Share January 13 I’m not good at catchy titles… A place to discuss Corrections. Every time they play Animal Flubs it’s so stupid it makes me laugh, but then it is stuck in my head forever. 1 Link to comment
shapeshifter January 13 Share January 13 (edited) Ta-da! Corrections #91: And there's a list of Corrections videos on the side of this one, #90: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K_z5OBqxhL0&list=PLJaq64dKJZopIwlqdjPra6a0sHoh_tlVZ Edited January 13 by shapeshifter 1 Link to comment
DanaMB February 17 Author Share February 17 I didn’t like this week’s Corrections. Way too fast to enjoy it. Though the Negroni thing made me laugh. Link to comment
possibilities March 2 Share March 2 I've started reading the comments on the Corrections pages on YouTube. They are often as funny as Corrections itself. Also, the love is contagious. I liked how Seth was enjoying the bobblehead this week. He had to even drop the "Mack Tonight is creepy" schtick to do it, but do it he did. I think the world needs more joy and non-cynical appreciation. It's hard because the world can be really terrible, but I think it's necessary and I like that I'm starting to see it more and more in unexpected places. 3 1 Link to comment
DanaMB March 3 Author Share March 3 Do you think Corrections will really end at 100? I hope not… 2 Link to comment
possibilities March 3 Share March 3 I also hope not. He does like to tease us. I am hoping it's just a bit and they will rebrand it as something like "Corrections: The Sequel" or in some other way the whole "we're ending it" is not true. But I fear it is. Lots of things end that I don't want to end, so.... I am bracing to let it go in case it's really going. 2 1 Link to comment
Lois Sandborne March 3 Share March 3 Teasing the end really does seem like a bit. Seth's having a lot of fun with it. Maybe it'll be like an April Fool's joke. The slow talking at the beginning this week was fun. I didn't up the video speed but I bet it worked. Them randomly sticking "HAVE AN ESTABLISHED" in at the end cracked me up. Link to comment
shapeshifter March 31 Share March 31 (edited) From the https://youtu.be/oWyYYT4wUSw?si=qU9JoxDIh9Fdn4bD transcript: “Just mentioned a couple of Lego stories. Crossword. 52 down. ‘Tiny building blocks.’ The answer -- five letters. You know what that means? The answer is Legos. You [bleeped] up. Whoever made this [bleep] up, and now they're in for it. I mean, … We've seen firsthand how awful the Lego community can be. Whoever did this [bleeped] up. Now, I'm not saying whoever edited this should be scared, but when the Lego people show up at your house, you will crap your shorts.” 👆This is especially funny/ironic because in the immediately following Saturday NY Times crossword comments (similar to the Corrections letters), included are 32 mentions about whether CRAPPER was offensive or humorous, including: Quote With language in NYT puzzles increasingly incorporating terms formerly considered crass, I was dismayed by 8A, Crapper, and disappointed that the constructor was proud of it. Oh, sure, it's an old word, et cetera, but please, no more. https://www.nytimes.com/shared/comment/3u2p1q?rsrc=cshare&smid=url-share Edited March 31 by shapeshifter 2 Link to comment

possibilities July 20 Share July 20 I'm not sure I'm going to like whatever the reveal is that Seth was teasing when he compared Jenny to Rachel Dolezal. Dolezal was not funny and she was not anyone I would be gleeful about. Link to comment
DanaMB July 21 Author Share July 21 I think it was more of a way to say people were guessing incorrectly about the twist (Amber coming out). A misdirect. 3 Link to comment

He was saying that he wasn't referring to Amber coming out, but suggesting that Jenny was going to "come out" as Black. Yes it is a bit obscure and inside, geared to a relatively small audience of online nerds and hard to parse for the general public, but isn't that kind of the whole point of Corrections? 3 Link to comment
SG429 October 7 Share October 7 I think that being sick and cranky and just wanting to go home after a long week fits the vibe of Corrections. I like it. 2 Link to comment
marina to October 16 Share October 16 I loved the suit/no tie look Seth was sporting this week. It may not have been for us, but I wouldn't be sad if that was the Corrections look from now on. Dude was hawt. 1 Link to comment
