I really didn't know where they were going with what seemed like a major time-jump, but somehow they've managed to keep this thread going in a way that feels less contrived than it could have been.

At the end they flashed some object under the bushes. Does anyone know what it is? This has been shown a few times, but never long enough for me to identify it. Thanks.

Has anyone mentioned the artwork in the titles?  Is it one artist?  They remind me of Francis Bacon.

They're all by David Choe. He's an artist and plays Isaac on the show.

So I guess that was the house Danny built for his parents burning at the end?

I was thinking: "I hope he's insured." But he said that he did all the wiring himself. I already thought at the time "well that's a fire hazard", and if the wiring was the reason for the house to have burned down, no insurance will pay. That is why you hire an electrician.

I guess there was also somebody hiding in the bushes at one point. But that is probably just a red hering.

I think he knew he was using the wrong wiring, but that was a place he could cut corners. He obviously put a lot of money into surfaces and appliances in the kitchen, for example.

I'm assuming that Amy burned down the house as revenge.  At the end, they showed her eating at the Burger King that Danny would go to when he was looking at properties for his parents, so she's obviously in the area.  And I'm guessing that somewhere in the eight months they skipped over, Amy and Danny killed someone (possibly the old man neighbor with the ring cam? Or Isaac?) and buried them under the bushes.

Considering I mostly know Ali Wong from her stand up specials while very pregnant when they flashed the 8 months later with Amy covered by the pool's water I thought Paul was about to become a father.

I never thought Amy or Danny would go as far as murder and was thinking the ex praise leader who wanted in on Danny's real business was the arsonist. But Amy is not out of the question just as Danny was about to burn her car before he saw the daughter.
