ams1001 February 3, 2023 Share February 3, 2023 I liked Mayim's dress again this week. Mayim was more excited than the players were. The guys were just the right mix of having fun and not being obnoxious. I was kinda rooting for Wil but also not really rooting for anyone. I like all the players (despite not being all that familiar with Ike) so I was good with anyone winning. Congrats to him. 6 Link to comment
Grizzly February 3, 2023 Share February 3, 2023 I am also not familiar with Ike so would have preferred one of the other guys winning. I thought Mayim was going to pee herself with each ramped up DD. Why not go all in with those easy questions. It was a good game. So funny when they ragged on Ike for not dressing up. 4 Link to comment

Patton still looked pretty casual with the open shirt collar and no tie. 3 Link to comment
Bastet February 3, 2023 Share February 3, 2023 I was rooting for Wil Wheaton; I don't know any of them from their creative works, but I've saved a few things Wil has said about chronic anxiety & depression as, dealing with the same, he's more than once articulated things in a better way than I can. Also, I liked his charity best by a mile (without disparaging either of the others; it's just that I'm a civil rights lawyer focused on women's rights and thus know NWLC). But they're all organizations that can be profoundly altered by a whopping one million dollar donation, so it was a win-win-win. This series resulted in over two million dollars donated to the participants' charities, and that's fantastic. I found this a good finish. The DDs were too easy for a final, even in this celebrity tournament, but there were few clues no one could answer, and the camaraderie was great. I particularly enjoyed the impromptu clothing chat during the first break. Even in a celebrity game, including a picture of Gorbachev was ridiculous. Also even in a celebrity game: I'm doomed with a fantasy category, and, indeed, I missed three. Same with Disney and games. Other than those, I just missed a few scattered clues in each round. FJ took a couple of more moments than it should have, but I got it. 5 Link to comment
rlc February 3, 2023 Share February 3, 2023 My kid watched this with me last night. She didn't know any of the celebrities, but immediately decided she liked Patton best, and said 'wow- they really dumbed this down because I know most of these answers'. All in all (aside from a handful of completely obnoxious contestants) this was a very enjoyable series. 2 Link to comment
SHD February 3, 2023 Share February 3, 2023 I wish all the celebrity matches had been as good and as exciting as this one. I liked all three contestants and they hit the perfect balance of competitiveness, banter, encouragement for each other, etc. I don't mind that they dumbed down the questions. It was like Jeopardy for the common man. LOL 4 2 Link to comment

LOL Joel Kim Booster was on one of the late night shows (I want to say Colbert but I'm not sure) and he called it Jeopardy for Babies. 😄 3 Link to comment
SilverLake0315 February 6, 2023 Share February 6, 2023 It's funny, I liked Alice's Kids on FB ages ago because I follow Patton on Twitter and they posted that he'd won $250K for the charity before I'd gotten a chance to watch and I was bummed that I'd inadvertently spoiled it for myself. Imagine my delight when I finally watched the finale yesterday and realized I actually had no idea what the outcome was! 😂 2 Link to comment

I really only knew Wil and Patton, but I liked Ike well enough. I was rooting for Wil or Patton, but was okay with Ike winning. Mayim got a wee bit overexcited, but still it was a lot of fun. I think she's fine with Celebrity Jeopardy - these are her peeps, as it were. But man, those pauses before saying they're right...those did get annoying. 4 Link to comment
SoMuchTV March 5 Share March 5 Welp… if you’re not following regular Jeopardy!, you might want to check out how Ike did in the Tournament of Champions. 2 2 Link to comment
