The whole episode felt like a collection of mildly amusing moments that led nowhere. Link to comment

MicheleinPhilly May 31 Share May 31 I will be SHOCKED if this gets picked up for a 3rd season. I love Maya but sadly, I just think it has run its course. 1 1 Link to comment

Late to the party here because I'm just catching up on season 2, but this is exactly how I felt about the entire season. Lots of amusing lines or scenes, but I felt that overall there wasn't any substance to any of the plots. I don't like Molly and Arthur for several reasons, but foremost because she's his boss and that power imbalance is just not cool. Echoing others about not liking Sofia, but I know that I don't like the character because I don't think MJ Rodriguez is a very good actor. I've only seen her in this and Pose, and while her acting has definitely improved since those first couple seasons of Pose, she still doesn't have the chops to give Sofia much nuance. But on another note, I'm pretty sure Sofia is supposed to be a cisgender woman, so I'm happy for MJ that she has this opportunity. Link to comment
