I would assume coming on the show, they sign some kind of contract/agreement, and I'm certain they must have to disclose any conditions they have, ie allergies, disabilities requiring extra care, anything possibly communicable as they are handling food. One would think Covid would fall somewhere in those parameters.

Oh, they absolutely do -- as well as psych evaluations. Most shows will also require that they see the shows doctors. But having HAD COVID or any other communicable disease doesn't disqualify them immediately. Sure it's a risk, but that's what insurance (the shows] is for.

Pre-COVID shows certainly tested contestants for diseases, but that didn't stop them from allowing contestants with STDs on shows where hook ups were bound to happen. Looking at  you Big Brother and almost all MTV shows.

Yes, it’s made from pollock or some other firm-fleshed white fish. I live in Dungeness crab country and cannot make myself eat “krab.”

LOL “krab.” I’m in Maryland.  Same thing.

Anytime someone eats California Roll, they're eating "krab".

Wait. They are wiley and miley?

LOL  I've always read her name as May-lee but I actually have no idea how she pronounces it.

I was surprised by which team was eliminated.  The pork belly sounded horrible-tough and overcooked while the problems with the panna cotta (not firm enough) and seafood terraine (too firm) did not sound as grievous to me.  Oh well.

Edited to add that Gail said that between the two desserts (of the bottom two teams) she would eat Robert's "all day long" compared to the other.  So, I don't really understand the elimination decision.
