The more we learn about Lennon, the worse she seems. It sounds like she never had a kind thing to say about her sister or anyone else she supposedly cared about. Naming the porn channel after Alison was really low. Posting videos of people (presumably) without their consent was downright illegal.

And okay, Alison knows that Lennon had sex with Margot for the porn channel, but she doesn't know Lennon was probably in love with Margot and in denial about it, right? Is she just kissing Margot based on assumptions? Is she actually bi herself? This is going to end so badly.

I actually liked Doug. And Harold. I know people have to die in a show like this but ugh, leave the nice/fun characters alone for a while and off someone annoying, like Dylan. I know he's the most moral of the group and is suffering from a ton of guilt, but he is sad and boring and absolutely no fun to watch. Courtney is annoying, too -- I think she could have been fun, but right now she's coming off as a caricature. Nobody sees a horrific crime scene and quips that they're not cleaning it up.

Lennon's body looked pretty good for a year later. Shouldn't she be all bloated and picked apart by sea life? Could she actually have been alive all this time and only killed recently?

I have no idea what's going on with Clara and all this cult stuff and how the dad is involved, but if the twins' mother is actually still alive I'm going to rage.

Jesus Christ they sure did make the twin just beyond a shit person. Did the lady keep her dead body in a freezer for a year? Cause there is legit no way that body would look like that after a year.

The editing on this show is really weird and I have to keep reminding myself that it's been a year between flashbacks and now but I think they implied that the hippy lady found Lennon's body fairly soon after the death and "prepped" her for crossing to the other side or some shit like that. So Lennon wasn't in the water the whole time but yeah, were did Hippy Lady keep her? I also think they are hinting at possibly Dad did more than he claims in his wife's death. Also, something makes me think that Hippy saw the kids ditch Lennon in the cave but that could be me misremembering or filling in the gaps this show likes to leave open. 

Courtney is the worst and she better die. 

For a while I thought the cop was the killer but he is clearly dead now so he's out. And so far the cooks death was the hardest for me. Poor guy just doing his business and he's shot in the head. 

So far only one of the group has actually been killed, and he was killed along with the coach. Wouldn't it be funny if all the deaths had nothing to do with Lennon's death or the threats. The threats could be Dylan trying to get justice for his "true love" even though he can't even tell that she is standing right next to him and the killings could have something to do with the cult.

It does kinda make me laugh that the dad recognized Alison immediately even though she was standing in the dark wearing her sister's jacket, made up to look like Lennon... yet the two lifelong friends who were in love with Lennon/Alison don't suspect a thing. I thought maybe Johnny was onto Alison after he saw her smoking -- he seemed like he was going to discuss it with Margot right before their call got cut off -- but he died before getting to tell anyone about it. Sometimes I think Dylan suspects, especially after he too saw her smoking this week, but he's so wooden and weird that I can't tell what he's thinking.

This episode really makes it clear that Dylan is the most annoying character especially among the main cast. I pray that he and Alison don’t end up together or get together. He seems like he thinks he the most moral of the group but in ways he may be the worst of the group. He slept with Lennon but seems to blaming everyone else for it then realizing that it never happens if he didn’t want it to. I am glad that Alison finally told him to get over himself. 

Just reading the above posts is making me think the father is the killer and he is trying to make sure anyone who can find out the truth about Alison/Lennon are taken care of. 

also not sure what to think of Alison kissing Margot. I would think getting involved with one of Lennon’s exes is almost a sure way of getting found out. It’s not like it would be strange if they didn’t get back together or even kiss again. The events of that night and the past year would be all the excuse Alison would need to keep from being intimate with Margot. If the father is the killer than Margot may be the next victim.

Clara definitely did say that she'd had Lennon for about a year*, but the cop said they thought "Alison" had "been gone a long time" and was probably caught in a lava tube under the cave before getting washed out into the ocean, in which case there's no way she'd look that good and they would be insisting on an autopsy, not simply asking the dad if he wanted one.

*That whole conversation was weird and vague enough that they could have been talking about a live or dead daughter (they didn't mention names, either, so we don't know whether or not Clara knew which girl it was):

"How long did you have her?"
"About a year. Just kept hoping things would turn out differently."
"You should have told me."
"Why? So you could tell me I was full of shit?"
"She's my daughter."
"I waited for the solstice. She's not the one. So, I did what I had to do. I left you the necklace-"
"I deserved to know where she was. What happened to her."

Thank you for the transcript. Very helpful. The above line is VERY interesting. She's not the one for what? Makes me wonder if she'll kill the surviving twin thinking she is "the one". Also, wonder who she hoped things would turn out differently? Maybe she did find Lennon alive, brought her home to nurse her back, figured out she wasn't "the one" and killed her, or that Lennon died from her injuries (but this is a slasher show so I'm going with killed her.)

While some of the editing is confusing and the vague convos, this this one, are also confusing, and really none of these people are all that likable (when the drug dealer is my favorite character there are some clear likability issues in the group), I am enjoying the show.

I was actually kinda enjoying the deputy as a side character (unlike, say, Courtney) with his fastidious by-the-book-ness so bit of a bummer he got offed.  But again, he's killed completely off-screen.  This is supposed to be a slasher series (and yes, I know Lois Duncan's novel isn't very slasher-y, but the IP, I'd wager, has value today because of the movie versus the book) so let's get some jump scares, some chase scenes, and some on-screen kills going in the back half, Show.

Do kinda like that they eliminated the idea of Lennon possibly being alive slash the killer.  I really have no idea who it could be, though I'm wary that the cult stuff isn't just an overly complicated red herring.

Bill Heck, who plays the dad, is really good, I think.  Him punching up the car - whether because he was distraught about seeing his daughter's dead body or because he knew he had to go confront creepy Clara - was well done.

Dylan, it's nobody's fault you slept with Lennon but yours.  You chose to take the drugs Lennon offered, you chose to take off your pants, you chose not to tell Alison that you apparently have always been in love with her for the entirety of high school.  So knock it off berating the girls in your murder secret group for your actions.

The naked nature run felt so try-hard-y.  "Oooh, look, we're on a streaming service, look at all the boobs and peens!".

Props to the killer using "I still know..." as his last taunt.  Maybe they'll sneak in an "I'll always know..." before it's over.

She definitely saw them walking out of the cave after they put Lennon’s body there. They showed that. She might have been shown watching them go into the cave with Lennon too, I can’t remember for sure.

This show is so dumb but it entertains me. 

I wish they hadn’t killed the cop since he was funny or Harold since he was maybe the only truly likable character.

I realized watching this ep that all the deaths so far have been men. Interesting.

I agree @TeeVee329 that it’s odd they have kept all but 1 of the deaths off screen in what is supposed to be a slasher show. It seems like a strange choice lol.

Decided to start watching tonight.  Everyone has said pretty much everything I thought about the episode and the characters generally. So I'm just chiming in to say that Harold's death is the first one that really affected me. 

Johnny was the least assholish of the teens and I was pissed that they killed the LGBTQ+ character first.  But like, on an emotional level, Harold, man.  He seemed like such a nice normal dude.

Just started bingeing the series and have to agree with this. I hate all of these assholes but I hate him the most. Classic "nice guy" who's actually nothing more than a self-absorbed douchebag playing the emo "I'm so complicated" stick.

He loved Alison SO MUCH - supposedly loved her FOREVER, yet instead of going after her like Johnny did when she was all alone on the beach. sad and upset, he went off into a bedroom with her shitty sister who apparently it was common knowledge fucked everyone. Gee, I wonder what he thought was going to happen. And clearly he was coerced and forced into taking the drugs that supposedly impaired his judgement I guess to say no and NOT fuck his supposed true love's twin sister.

Also, for a girl he loved SO MUCH, interesting he was the first to suggest dumping her in the cave. Yes, he wanted to call the cops but once the others said it wasn't a good idea, he came up with the dumping plan. So dude can  miss me with his whiny shit. Not to mention I have yet to see what Alison and Riley (who is so clearly in love with him) saw in him to begin with.
