They showed Commonwealth banners being dropped over Oceanside and Alexandria last season (or the first half of this season). 

I'm glad they told, not showed, what happened at Oceanside. I hope a few other people pop up by the finale to help retake ASZ.

Jeffrey Dean Morgan looks thin and frail; has he been sick? I thought they were going to do something interesting with the Negan character but now he is just a husband. Eugene is not a favorite character of mine but he doesn’t deserve death. Tired of evil people.

I forgot the first season was only 6 eps.   I had a totally different life when the show premiered so I think that's part of it.
