Phishbulb May 28 Share May 28 Is this the first time a group has ever run the chain on the US version of the show? (I'm pretty sure it is on this incarnation of it, anyway). Link to comment

iMonrey May 30 Share May 30 It's the first time I've ever seen it happen, and I've been watching since the original US version with Anne Robinson. Wow. Way to go, vets. (And then to bank zero in round 2, LOL.) Still, 73.5K is a nice final bank. Quote I was rooting for Kari up until the end. She had a couple dumb answers. I was rooting for Joe (?) after he stuck to his vote and took Kari anyway, even though she tried to vote him off. Honorable, and it paid off for him. 3 Link to comment
ams1001 June 4 Share June 4 I want to see Kelvin and his puppet "son" show up on America's Got Talent. Them banking after every question was starting to annoy me but on the other hand they actually banked more than half the 25K, so maybe not the worst strategy. Heck, even I got the Missy Elliott question right... "If intelligence were a crime, who'd be free to go?" 😄 She voted for Derek because he passed, but at least he did it quickly instead of wasting time hemming and hawing. 1 Link to comment
iMonrey June 4 Share June 4 Yeah that was strange. Last week the team actually ran the chain all the way in Round 1 (for the first time ever that I can recall). This week, polar opposite, they banked after every question in Round 1. At the end of the day neither strategy netted an overly impressive final bank, but it was more fun to see them run the chain than bank every time. 12 hours ago, ams1001 said: She voted for Derek because he passed, but at least he did it quickly instead of wasting time hemming and hawing. He was too good, he would have won. It's such a tricky balance to be good enough to keep around but not good enough to be a threat. 1 Link to comment

iMonrey June 11 Share June 11 Why does Jane always put her hand behind her back when the team is voting? I just noticed this, she did it every time she said "it's time to vote." Is it some weird affectation? Or is she waiting for some stage hand to run up behind her and hand her something? Oh, Brianna, you should have voted out Brandon when you had the chance. 1 Link to comment

I can't explain why, but I LOVE it when they show this, considering she doesn't do it EVERY time. I like the hand thing, I can't explain it. 😛 Link to comment

Oh, Brianna, you should have voted out Brandon when you had the chance. I was glad to see her lose. She seemed kind of smug and her dislike of a few of her fellow players was obvious. 1 1 Link to comment

The team really had a problem making money, and the two best performers got booted in fourth and third place. All-black top two, though, which, as a black person, I appreciated seeing. The winner had definitely performed weakly throughout the game, but she was just so earnest and happy to be there, I couldn't take her victory away from her. I was totally rooting for her to pull the win. Link to comment
