Erin and Anthony must trust a sociopath who claims he has evidence to convict a double-murderer. Also, Frank faces backlash from his department when he suspends an officer for violent behavior, and Danny and Baez try to arrest a notorious gangster who appears to have people covering for him inside the department.

No mention of Eddie & Jamie who help a neighbor who has dementia.

Pitiful. This once was a very good show to watch and it's become unwatchable.

Frank butts heads with his staff, mayor, union and media with a gratuitous amounts of facial grimacing.

Danny is so hung ho trying to make cases it's become absurd.

And Erin's constant look of bewilderment when she gets a new case has gotten old.

The only decent person of any interest is Anthony and he's saddled with an uptight Erin.

I didn't even get to the Eddie and Jamie storyline before I got disgusted, quit and then erased the show from my DVR record option.

I hope the true Blue Bloods fans hang in there and enjoy the rest of the season.

I liked Jamie and Eddie’s storyline but they’re my favorite characters so I’m always most interested in them.

But 4 storylines in an episode are just too many. I wish they’d go back to 3 and give them each a few more minutes of story development.

Sid was just a a major asshole in the meeting.   Bosses should not baby employees but, a little courtesy goes along way.

Well he certainly didn't have to belittle the guy like that.  But based solely on my knowledge of Law & Order SVU, compstat meetings are the place where captains get raked over the coals for spike in crime, unsolved cases etc.

I remember seeing that in THE WIRE, too. So not totally out of character for the setting.

I liked the idea of Danny with the ME but when she gave him the opening he became an idiot. How can a detective be so clueless?

I don't think he was being clueless.  I think he got it, but was telling her that she crossed a line that he couldn't live with.

Shawn, it's OK.  You don't have to be a cop if you don't want to.

While I would have been a bit more ok with this pairing than with Maggie the psychic or Baez (who really wants that?), he still couldn't look the other way on what she did.  If she needed help, she could have asked for it instead him finding out.

Threatening a medical examiner who works with the police didn't really make any sense to me.  Why wouldn't she just tell them and they could protect her?  Had they kidnapped someone, OK, I could see it.
