  1. If you ever watched The Closer or Major Crimes they had female lead characters that were interesting to watch and not this tripe.
  2. Pitiful. This once was a very good show to watch and it's become unwatchable. Frank butts heads with his staff, mayor, union and media with a gratuitous amounts of facial grimacing. Danny is so hung ho trying to make cases it's become absurd. And Erin's constant look of bewilderment when she gets a new case has gotten old. The only decent person of any interest is Anthony and he's saddled with an uptight Erin. I didn't even get to the Eddie and Jamie storyline before I got disgusted, quit and then erased the show from my DVR record option. I hope the true Blue Bloods fans hang in there and enjoy the rest of the season.
  3. In the beginning for me this had the chance to be a good show with a strong lead actress and what seemed to be a solid supporting cast. After a couple of strong episodes to start it's degenerated into another typical CBS show with too many storylines. The PR lady and the mayor bumping uglies. That isn't going to end well. The daughter and her lowlife husband. Not even the actor and actress are likable characters. And now the scumbag greedy developer. Gonna watch one more episode and then I'm done.
  4. Good episode. The Hetty character has run it's course as well as Nell. The rest of the show was good.
  5. Decent show but the Anna story line has gotten boring. I FF through all the Nell and Eric BS, time to FF through all the Anna parts.
  6. Although I haven't watched every Blueblood episode I've watched a lot and this has to be one of the strangest episodes I've watched. Of course Frank was Frank always butting heads with everyone around him and Danny was the same asshole he always is but the storyline with the dog and Erin's moment of uncertainty were surreal at least to me.
  7. Excellent show. One main story which for me is awesome
  8. If Nell and Eric were eliminated this would be a decent show.
  9. Typical CBS. We started with a simple show and now there are a lot of plates in the air to make the show all of a sudden hard to follow to discerning viewers. I'll watch this season but the future to me doesn't look promising.
  10. Very good show. It's not perfect but it's better than 90% of the crap the networks try to foist off on the public. The mayor seems to be ready to bust a move on the blond PR lady. The staff seems to be very competant and low maintenance except for the tech guy who's leaving. I respect his view but you have got to play within the law. Not enamored about the daughter story line but I guess some human interest is something the writers think is needed.
  11. IMHO the guy is a typical politician. Doing whatever he thinks will get him re-elected.
  12. Horrible show. Too much personal issues crap and a extremely convoluted story line. This will be my last year for this show.
  13. Our criminal part of the justice system has a lot of checks and balances. One the police must provide sufficent evidence for the DA's office to bring charges that they feel are compelling enough to present in a preliminary hearing so that the judge will let the case move to a jury trial. The burden of proof is with the DA in the trial to prove to a jury the defendant(s) are guilty beyond a shadow of doubt. The judge has a lot of responsibility in how evidence is presented, ruling on matters of the applicable law in the case that is used and ruling the objections by both the DA and defendants legal counsel. His handling of the case is critical if the defendant is convicted by the jury and his legal team decides to appeal to the next level in the judicial system and that is the court of appeals.
