Then she doesn’t like the way Tim reacts. She tells him to throw something or get angry, because she can’t stand it.

Is Roxy supposed to be so abhorrent? Behaving that way in front of Izzy and Izzy’s mom?

How old is Roxy supposed to be? She’s a petulant child. Even in the earlier episodes, flirting and hanging out with Isaac, she was so childish.

I hate people who, if you say something even slightly critical/negative, respond with a verbal semi-automatic weapon.

At least the idea of Leon not being Julia’s father will be interesting.

Ahhh, finally, the episode where Roxy becomes just as insufferable and obnoxious as the rest of them. And you know what this show really needed? More insufferable and obnoxious people, so thanks to the writers for bringing her parents back.

Yes, I realize she has issues that suddenly came roaring back in an episode and a half, but this show does as well, considering how thoroughly annoying the rest of the characters are.

Leon: "I feel like I'm everyone's father, but no one's dad." Because you are, ya' damn sociopath.

The actor who plays Tim did a great job with the coming-out scene. Really, I think I just keep tuning in for him and Isaac.

I guess this means Julia didn't sleep with her brother. 😄  Although, that is a terrible way to learn your father isn't your bio-dad.  I wonder if mom had an affair, or if she was adopted, or I don't know - guess we'll find out.

And finally, Edie came clean about the cheating.  Finally!

Happy that Edie told Tim... Roxy's meltdown was pretty spot on for how some addicts react to a confrontation... I knew I was right when I thought Isaac had a thing for Julia.. His reaction to Donavan in the media room cements it for me... Interested on how this Julia bio dad thing will play out... What I don't want is more boring D.A lady... More Tim.. More Isaac... More izzy I hope Roxy gets a second chance with her

It seems to me like mom had an affair, unless Dad was lying. He told Julia that mom was in the hospital due to complications with the birth. On the other hand, maybe it was a mental breakdown at the same time as the birth, and Julia IS adopted. Leon lies so much, it's hard to guess which parts of the story he was leaving out, and why.

If they are attempting to make him more sympathetic wrt the deceptive sperm "donations" because he "needed to prove his virility" due to his wife cheating, that's not going to work with me.

Watch the show try to now paint sympathy on Edie and start trying to make Tim an asshole or something

watching his reaction I was scared they were about to have him hit her or something... To try and give this whole sordid affair some equity.. So I'm at least initially happy it didn't go that way.. But I am still worried they will try and even out the bad.. When this show comes back.. And I don't want that... Edie was wrong.. But its done.. Let her take her lumps and then we'll go from there.

I think he was telling the truth about the mom giving birth, since Edie's mom seemed to know about the mom being in the hospital. Unless there was some kind of switched at birth thing.

But it sort of hurts Leon's story that he used his sperm because he knew it was good. If he hadn't gotten anyone pregnant, how would he know his was "good sperm" to try with. Obviously after he got the next person pregnant he knew, but he'd already committed a crime by then.

The prosecutor could probably use it against Leon, because she could argue that he was doing it to feel better about not really being his child's biological father. I don't see that making him sympathetic to anyone.

In the original Australian version of this show, the "phony" sister lived with them for a bit, and used Julia's DNA when pressed to take the DNA test. When confronted that the test proved negative, phony sister confessed that she'd swabbed Julia while she was asleep because she figured Julia was definitely a Bechley. I don't remember the details of when Julia's mom got preggers, tho, just that she was best friends with Edie's mom and they were stereotypical "free spirits". She may have been pregnant by somebody else when she married Leon.

Also, Julia and Tim got friendlier again after Edie came out, although pretty much all they did was commiserate.

I think it's more to give Julia a real understanding about what the rest her "sibs" and families are feeling.

I never liked the twist much even in the Australian show.  It seemed like an unnecessary complication to an already complicated situation.  But this is one use for the twist I think would make for a useful device.

It seemed like Leon knew Julia's mother for a long time before Julia was born.  Or at least, that is was the impression I got from Leon's description of her not being sure she wanted to be a mother.

I suppose it could have been a misdirect.  But it seems weird that a woman ambivalent about motherhood would marry a fertility specialist shortly after discovering she was pregnant by another man.  I guess there could be a reason.  But this too seems unnecessarily complicated.
