Dear God! Enough with Taylor is so dumb, she only knows how to get dress. I mean, come on! That is just too painful and I get it, any woman where the Ottos live are evil, directive and ask for things that are not humanly possible, but this is too much! I get at least Greg's situation, he finally got what he wanted, but now realizes, maybe it isn't all it is cracked up to be. Anna-Kat and her BFF are the best thing on the show now. I wish Taylor and Oliver would drop off the face of the planet.

Yes it’s all just farcical at this point. I know it’s a sitcom but it’s really really OTT

Even Taylor's: "Wait, I feel better, now. I mean if I'm more together than a woman in her 20s with pig tails, I'm good." Anna-Kat: "I think you missed the point." Great come back, but seriously, I think the writers are at the point they are taking to Two and a Half Men stupidity at this point. I'm just waiting for Oliver to go: "I got it! I'll do like Felicity Huffmon and Lore Loghli and photoshop and bribe people so it looks like I do all these extra crap and get into Juilard!" Anna-Kat, that didn't work out for them, and they still had to pay a lot of money out." *Oliver thinks for a second* but I'm not them. Anna-Kat: "You know what, nice knowing you."

I laughed at Katie's reaction to Greg's bracelet. "Are you auditioning to be the cute one in a boyband?" or something like that.

Other than that, I agree it's gotten too over the top and unbelievable. It's like a cartoon now. Though it hasn't gotten to the point where I'll stop watching yet.

It's like the Taylor role is being written for pre-teens, and that's an insult to pre-teens.

Pretty much.  I miss the show the way it was in the first two seasons.  I feel like they're constantly messing with it to make it more like other, more popular and dumb sitcoms, and I wish they would just STOP and go with what already works because whatever they're doing now is going to fail.

I don’t know who’s a worse actor, Kelly Ripa or the actress who plays Taylor.

This is interesting. I always thought the actor playing Oliver was the weak link of the cast.

Right, I can get everything with both Greg and Katie because it makes sense where the characters went. Even having it where now Anna-Kat has majorly progress and while they don't need to stay in town for her anymore. They actually like the area and also closer for Greg's commute. However, that's where it stops. Taylor has fallen into the one who needs special needs help. It's like there is a carbon dioxide leak in her room. Plus, the actress can't sell it having her be THIS DUMB. Oliver, I think the writers honestly don't know what to do with him. They spent so much time trying to beat him over the head, that his family and life are fine. I mean killing off Spencer, having his girlfriend ditch him and now taking him out of dancing. While Anna-Kat said he is a sophomore and has PLENTY of time to decide what to do or other ways to get into Julliard or other related schools.

I'm pretty much betting that the writers are going to call back into old habits with Oliver trying to do something stupid, that gets him caught. Cooper showing back up, showing how out of touch with reality he is with being rich and doing STUPID things. Plus, trying to make Taylor's boyfriend DUMBER than her gets to the point where you just want to go: "how do you two even know how to eat and breathe?"

Yes I forgot about Taylor’s boyfriend. He’s another level of stupid that is beyond all reality. He (and Taylor) belong in a special school for people with limited intellect and limited basic life skills. Little Anna Kat is a genius compared to these 2 who are close to being legal adults.

What did you guys think about Whitney's treatment of Katie's male co-worker Kevin? It reminded me of the way Chloe Brown Mueller treats Mariah, but Chloe Brown Muller sells it better in my opinion. Can't wait for her season 4 debut.

I remember when Katie's friend said; "good thing he has looks going for him, because otherwise he has NOTHING!" It's funny, Taylor can be trying to sneak in having sex with her boyfriend or go partying, but pull out a gas pump, crack and egg, empty out the garbage? Oh no, she sets things on fire. Same with Oliver, oh yes, straight A student, able to come up with almost super villain plans. Yet, always gets caught, or gets hurt or it costs him something he really cared about. Yet think is family are losers, he is dirt poor and can't wait to escape. Yeah, he wants to see Dirt Poor, I'll drop him off at a trailer park where they are happy if they can keep their propane tank filled when they want to feed their families or afford gas to get to work. Then, let's see what he thinks then. Plus, Spencer died alone and basically couldn't do anything past his front door. Yeah, such a life I would want because you know, I have millions.

If Taylor is really this clueless about practical things at age 17/18, then I actually fault Katie and Greg more than Taylor herself - because they allowed it. I find it hard to believe the oldest child in a lower middle-class family wouldn't have been asked to scramble some eggs or do any of the very basic things on that list by now.

I agree but I never saw the Ottos as lower middle class - more like middle-middle class.  Not that she shouldn't have learned these things anyway.  But I actually don't find it completely unbelievable, especially in today's world.  It never ceases to amaze me how little some young people are taught by their parents these days.

Oh, I know - I work in a school system and you wouldn't believe how many parents don't bother to teach their little ones things like tying shoes because "that's the school's job". But that's a whole other issue.

Re: Ottos' socioeconomics - They gripe about how poor they are, yet seem to live comfortably in all areas (and no, lacking a banana hammock doesn't count). The kids have lots of nice clothes, going out for second breakfast all the time is not an issue, etc. But then again, Greg was the sole breadwinner for many years, and probably both he and Katie had student loans. So I can't really get an accurate take on just what their finances supposedly are. It may well just be a case of Hollywood Poverty, not actual.

I never thought the otto's were poor.  It was more that they were comfortably middle class but living in an area where everyone was super wealthy.  So their kids thinking they are poor, sure, but the parents shouldn't think that.

I agree and I know it was done just for drama but I thought it was stupid that they felt like they had to return all that stuff to Bed Bath and Beyond.  They could have at least kept the $15.00 banana hanger.

Oh I know, even Mrs. Readster was: "Why are they returning that? Not like magically their bank accounts are gone!" Yeah, it's like with how Oliver acts with: "I want to go to sleep and maybe my real rich family will come?" Oh get over yourself! You are not poor, you want to see poor, head to a real bad neighborhood and then see if you think you have it so bad?

I agree that, if Taylor doesn't know how to do most of the things on the list, it's because her parents haven't taught her.  How is she supposed to learn?  Sit on a street corner with a sign begging for instruction?  Katie was too busy watching action movies and fawning over Ana Kat to teach Taylor useful skills.
