  3. Matt's post on the episode: Assault With Intent? Outlander comes up with more rape content. Is it all too much, or does it serve a purpose?

  5. It wasn't a phrase that really lent itself to anything we happened to have on the docket this week, unfortunately! I had to wedge it in and I knew it was clumsy as I was doing it. Ah, well.
  6. Perhaps! That's my interpretation.
  7. Reminder: This is for discussion of the TV show only, no book talk allowed - including saying "but it's different in the books". Any spoiler from outside the books (i.e. next week's preview) should be in spoiler tags. Book Talk folks, there is another episode topic for you.
  8. Reminder: There is open air book talk here. If you are just watching the TV show and you don't want to stumble into a potential spoiler you should leave now. Book Talk assumes you have read all the books to date. Any information from unpublished books, such as preview chapters should be in spoiler tags.
  9. There wasn't any evidence that Whitney WASN'T doing any penny-pinching either, other than what she said, and presumably what the production knew or found out about her in the course of making the episode, probably including stuff that didn't make it into the episode. Anyway, none of us paid for Whitney's trip, so other than the fact that it was kind of a pointless episode, who cares.
