I always try to see the Paris shows. This couple had a huge budget. The Parisians I have known for years live in much more modest places. Smaller, too. This just didn’t seem realistic. I guess she works for a big bucks company, but ... I actually didn’t mind him so much. He was joking a lot. But they were both douchebags, because I don’t think either of them knows a word of French, and yet they just have to live in Paris!

Yes. I live in nyc. I was a writer and editor. I never made a lot of money. I got laid off three years ago after 29 years at the same company, and jobs before that. I’m 65. I took early Social Security. Yes, I have some retirement income and I do a tiny bit of freelance editing. No husband and no kids. It isn’t easy!
