  1. Sure seems like a shot, doesn’t it. First Sheppard, now this. Maybe things aren’t so hunky dory behind the scenes. Interesting.
  2. How do these back door pilots work? Is it given a green light for next season if it has good ratings as episodes of Supernatural?
  3. He could have gotten a tat that spans his entire back and he still might not want to share it...yet. Oh, he definitely could have. I was just thinking about Ackles' and how it's so gigantic that he wouldn't be able to keep it private for long unless he never wanted to wear a tshirt again. Which would suck in Texas.
  4. My understanding is that Padalecki was very private about his mental health and it took him a while to decide to champion that as his cause. As I recall, Amell had something to do with it. But I don't know all the details. I don't view sharing or not sharing about oneself to be good or bad in itself. It all depends on the individual. All I'm saying is that I believe there are tons of things I don't know about Padalecki and I wouldn't be shocked if he also got a tattoo. That's it.
  5. I wouldn't. We don't know him. Or at least I don't. I only know his public persona. Don't get me wrong, it wouldn't surprise me if he did get one and share it. But it also wouldn't surprise me if he got one with Ackles and wanted to keep it private for awhile or forever. And I'm 100% positive that there have been times when he's asked for a photo and says no.
  6. I don't see a problem either. Unless he decides to sleeve that arm with two more gigantic tattoos for the other kids. Then it could be an issue, but maybe even not then. As you say, tattoos are no big deal anymore.
  7. You know what’s funny? I don’t follow any of the spn actors. I came across Beaver’s post on a political website. I was so surprised to see it there! So it’s made an impact, I think. And hope.
  8. It was. I had tears when I finished. It was thoughtful and honest and raw. Best commentary from any actor who I read on this topic.
  9. I hope they do. I'd like to see what they would do with that. If he does, I hope it's small and not on his shoulder. Tattoos are funny. They used to be sort of a signal for being a rebel. Now, they're so ubiquitous, that being tattoo-free is more of a sign of non-conformity.
  10. I'm sorry you hate it. I have complaints I hate reading about as well. But this one isn't going away. And it also applies to Castiel to a large degree who also fucks things up all the time. If you (general you) believe the writers are purposely characterizing Sam as an arrogant prick who won't listen to anyone, that's one thing. But, if you don't feel that way about him, it's perfectly legitimate to be of the opinion that he is generally wrong about the big things. As far as what's coming up, I believe whether or not Sam is right depends on Dean. If he chooses to agree with Sam, then Sam will be correct. If he doesn't then Sam will be wrong. Sure. And the same goes for Dean fans. This isn't limited to one character's fans. Happens all the time across all fandoms.
  11. That would be out of character. Unless Carver’s back. Carver isn’t back, is he? ; )
  12. That’s what I figured, too. But that implies the writers are aware that they write him that way and I’m not so sure about that.
  13. That could be. Because I cannot imagine Dean thinking that listing Sam's greatest sins was funny in any way. And if he did, if your interpretation is correct, and Dean thought it was funny? That does not speak well of him, at all.
  14. Didn't he go after Sam with an axe under the siren's spell? ETA: I could be completely misremembering this, but wasn't Sam whammied in the wishing well episode? I thought he was and he didn't wish Dean dead. Again, this could be totally wrong.
  15. Ah, okay. So soulless Sam's actions could only be compared to Demondean's? Fair enough. The point still stands that Sam never held demondean's actions against Dean, whereas the opposite is not true.
  16. I take back my comment. It was definitely sardonic and I am fully onboard with the belief that mockery, scorn and derision are not very nice! For some reason, I always thought of sardonic as being sly. Thanks for the heads-up!
  17. I'm actually pretty excited for that. I love character-driven stories. But, I do hope it goes beyond him worrying about what Dean thinks of him because of it. Maybe he'll get to show emotions. It's been a while.
  18. I missed you writing that; my bad. And, I agree. The Carver era excelled in manufactured melodrama that came out of left field.
  19. I think you could be right. I don't know it as a fact, but I suspect it's true. But, I feel the same way about Sam's awful dialogue in the Purge. They both were horribly mean and written to amp up sympathy for the other brother.
  20. Agreed. But he also brought it up when he was not under the influence. That's where I call a foul.
