  1. Well that’s because she’s Taylor’s best friend even though Taylor is not her best friend. I missed this show. Co-sign to all the moments you guys have already mentioned. I love them all. The only thing I can’t get behind is Chidi’s indecisiveness. It’s unrealistic now. An hour to choose a muffin?!
  2. And if, God forbid, you ever do it’s not on television with millions watching
  3. So having never actually had a big dog in my whole life this blows my mind. It makes sense....but I just never thought about it. One thing I hate on tv is that people will always wear their shoes on the bed and they never ever barefoot in their houses.
  4. So what I understand from what Kenya was saying is that Marlo has some info on Nene - screenshots or something for a conversation with John the pizza guy, that Nene doesn’t want made public. So she paid Marlo 20,000 dollars to keep it a secret. Is that right?
  5. I liked everything about this episode except the last interaction between Janet and Shawn. I thought it was unnecessarily violent and I didn’t find it funny. So that took away from an otherwise wonderful episode for me
  6. I agree that’s Kenya acted badly. But if what others have said is true then I can understand why. I can understand looking forward to a weekend off from which you’re going to spend with your husband who lives in a different city. Yes, I understand this is her job. But I know that if my job called and expected me to come in at the last minute on a weekend when I was supposed to be off, I would be pissed about it. In addition, my job does not have me being a villain, (whether that’s her real personality or scripted) and it must take some mental fortitude to show up to a job where the majority of your interactions are not fun and involve your coworkers talking crap about you. So I get being pissed if that’s the situation. It doesn’t give her a pass to be rude to anyone, but I do get it.
  7. I just had a baby three weeks ago. And Dorit’s boobs look exactly like mine when they’re engorged. Not anything I would ever aspire to. Sorry if that’s TMI Also re: the Hadidn’ts, I’m not very impressed by the attention they’re getting in Japan. From my limited knowledge, anybody can be a star in Japan. I remember that episode of Friends where Joey was offered a commercial over there. Not exactly a sign of true success anywhere else.
  8. And only the last two seasons. With Ashton Kutcher. Eleanor high-fiving Jason for the 69 and 420 was my favourite part of the episode. I love that even with all the growth and maturity, the writers still realize that she and Jason are really the ones with the most in common.
  9. Is nobody gonna comment on the fact that Matt's sister's name is Hallison. Her legal written name....Hallison, not Allison. Anybody? Just me. Ok.
  10. I don't get Porsha's defense that she was provoked and that's why she got into a fight. If Cynthia kicks me in the stomach, I'm gonna leave and the headline the next day is gonna be "Cynthia kicked Smacky55 in the stomach" not "Cynthia and Smacky55 fight on a boat". It takes two people to fight and it's not self defense because her life was not in danger. Despite being on a boat, Porsha could have walked away. Re: Todd. Yes he was mean to Phaedra. That would have been mean to anyone, male or female. It's mean. He was mad. I would have been mad too if Phaedra was saying all that stuff about me in the talking heads. That was mean as well. Just meanness all around. Phaedra's just wasn't to his face
  11. I feel a little (only a little) sorry for Kenya. I think she's intelligent and well spoken, yet has insecurities and issues like we all do, like the fact that she's never been married and has no children, and I think the issues with her mother have had an effect on her. I think when she started this show she was hired to fill the role of the villain - going after Apollo, etc and she was acting in that role. However, she had no one on her side and a lot of fans hated her, and then people began flinging her issues at her. I don't think she was strong enough to handle it, when you're playing the villain, your back has to be very broad. She let the things being said get to her. She can't back down from the character she's built for herself and because of that and the insecurities have been thrown in her face, she retaliates in bitter and petty ways. I don't think we have the real Porsha either. I think she's in that phase that a lot of us go through where we come out of a long relationship and wild out. It's working for her right now so she may stay there a lot longer than the rest of us (well at least me) where we can't sustain it or make a couple bad choices and get out sense back. I think she and Phaedra are bonding right now because that's where Phaedra is right now and Porsha is giving her the right energy to let loose. That's just my little Psych 101
  12. The highlight of the episode was Ayden and Dylan, those boys are so bright and adorable. I think he scene with them and Phaedra in the hotel in the morning is the most I've ever enjoyed Phaedra. Second most enjoyable thing was The Melting Pot. I have a lot of good memories of that place. Went to that very one on my 25th birthday. Sadly I'm not 36 and can no longer eat that stuff without having to workout for ten hours. Matt and Kenya, while I'd like to buy it, I just can't. Kim needs to not do the voiceover for the 'mercial. It's interesting to see Porsha at work. She seems to know how to work the hair and makeup aspect of things, but the actual nitty gritty of the photo shoot, not so much. Or the nitty gritty of the business itself Why is Lauren stopping work at 7 months? Really?
  13. To the poster who asked about the Jamaican jerk (sorry, I can't figure how to quote on my phone), yes a big part of it is the seasoning and the particular combination of spices. However, traditional jerk places such as Scotchies, cook their jerk over a special kind of wood called pimento wood, also called sweet wood as they said. This adds an additional flavour to the meat. That's how it should be done, the use of seasoning alone is just really an indoor kitchen adaptation.
  14. Is no one else annoyed that a bunch of grown ass women are arguing and having serious discussions over who is whose BFF and bestie? That was my main thought as I watched.
  15. It came across to me as somebody else said aren't you ticked off about it and then Faye agreed. Unfortunately I can't muster up any sympathy for her because she seems to have been one of the people to have capitalized the most from her friend's murder.
  16. She may have been happier. A complete break from the family and growing up in loving arms may have been better. Constantly being ignored and avoided by her mother at family events despite having other relatives who acknowledge her I'm sure was very damaging to her young psyche
  17. I don't believe she was shade throwing about the Apollo thing at all. What she was saying that it was that Phaedra's sons were too young to fully understand what was being said whereas Sebastian was old enough to hear and take it in and she didn't want him hearing that. I wonder if she thought Phaedra would share her nanny like the lifeguard on the playdate. I definitely would not have taken my 20 month old son to those places. Too young and he would definitely have needed to go outside.
  18. Can I link to Instagram? I went through hers and this is the closest thing to the picture Bethenny described. I was expecting much much worse https://instagram.com/p/yghjrDTYAv/ Also, if I were Bethenny I wouldn't have commented on Erika's video as she did. For one, she was rude. But secondly, this is not a woman who is trying to work her way up in the industry and make a livelihood in the music business. She has millions of dollars, it really is a hobby for her and it can bomb and she will still be fine. So no harm in not giving your honest opinion.
  19. Managing Porsha's businesses AND being her assistant sounds like a lot of work is she's doing both those things herself. I definitely understand that if she's at work she needs to do her job, pregnant or not, but there are concessions that can be made. When I was pregnant I managed the same number of patients as the other people on the team, but they just let me have the ones who were on the closer wards and not the ones where I'd have to walk halfway across the hospital. Similarly, Lauren doesn't NEED to go to the awards show with Porsha, she can be home doing other stuff. I was sooooo tired at nights even in my first trimester that I couldn't imagine working all day then doing something at night as well. Sounds like the biggest problem is that there is likely no official contract between Lauren and her sister detailing what her responsibilities are and likely has nothing about leave or maternity leave and seems like not even salary either.
  20. Wow. The Emmys and everything else have really gotten to Porsha's head. I thought at the eyewear party Kandi had said to Porsha that they didn't have anything to talk about. Why couldn't that have been the end of it? I would have taken it as "It's over, let's move on". And Carmon, really? Know your place. When Porsha and Kandi were having lunch I really wanted Kandi to say that of course she's gonna believe Don Juan who she's know all her life over Porsha who she's know for a hot minute. I don't want to see Kenya and her manufactured drama. Didn't enjoy seeing her and her dad thi week and don't want to see her confront her mom next week. Although the info about her running away was interesting. Cynthia and Peter.....don't care. I'm not even sure I like Cynthia's shades. Didn't see enough to say and I'm not motivated enough to look them up. Porsha at the Emmys was funny and cute. I liked when dude was giving her a hard time about "could he tell her the most embarrassing thing..." I thought it was a cute lesson about interviewing for her. But she had to spoil it all with her stank attitude to her sister and everyone else
  21. Can we clarify something? The video that we're talking about is not the Donkey Booty one right? This is another video that has something to do with pregnancy that was never released?
  22. I actually dislike Porsha more because of Dish Nation. Had i not seen her on Housewives before I might have bought her act. But she comes across as so knowlegeable, articulate and witty on Dish Nation, and I know she's not that it makes me realize that every single line on that show must be written for her, and that makes me mad. We all know good and well that Porsha knows nothing about politics, history or current events other than what she is directly interested or involved in. And I can't buy the image of her that they're trying to see on Dish Nation. But back to the episode I forgot to mention also that I liked everything Kandi wore in this episode, which is a first for me. I think her pregnancy style is better than her regular style.
  23. Cynthia is obviously a very messy drunk. I think she just became very reactionary and emotional and Porsha was the first one to put herself there. It happens, and Porsha should have just left her alone. With regards to the extra guests, it was a party for Cynthia, (supposedly), so Cynthia may have been allowed to bring a friend from outside, and atthe very least Kenya knew about her before they got to the boat. Porsha should have at least let Kenya know that she was bringing an extra person. It seems like Kenya had pedicure stuff set up (or did I imagine that), and it would make things super awkward at any real party, if there was an extra person but there was only a set up for pedicures for the planned number of guests. So from that light I can see how Kenya could get annoyed at an extra person. That being said though, Phaedra didn't show up, handle it with class. So while I agree Kenya was being shady about Kim's age, I'm not gonna hyperbolize and say Kim looks so much younger. They look about the same age, and I think they should both be happy about their looks. I do agree with everyone that Kim is a burst of fresh air. I like her, like her kids and her husband and love her library book. Hopefully she can remain above all the silliness that goes on. Who woulda thought.....Regine Hunter!
