Because the whole thing is a publicity stunt? I couldn't believe there was a doctor that said a kid at 18 months who says "I a boy" means they are transgender. I mean come on! A kids needs to go through puberty first.

And it's unrealistic how you can drown, be shot, in a coma etc....and never have any long lasting effects?

Maybe Meredith dreamed the whole season like on Dallas (for those of you old enough to remember).

I thought the episode was bad also. Why do people always tell their life stories strangers on this show? Although I was crying during the final scene.

Sorry if this was mention already but how many more episodes until the finale? Would anything major happen tonight? I'll bet the previews that seem like the whole show will be like only 10% of it and we will be left with another cliffhanger.

Let's just hope they don't pull something like the first season of The Killing and make us wait for a second season to find out who the killer is. I thought maybe it was Jess also. In my opinion, nobody should be that sound of a sleeper when they have a child. Maybe she was more detached than we think.

Why does everyone repeat themselves on this show. "You're ignoring me. I'm being ignored". All I hear on this show lately is the writers trying to be clever. The patients telling their life stories to the Dr's. That dumb first date and how she remembered they had sandwiches. Cringeworthy. In almost every episode someone is angry or avoiding someone and then at the end confront them with a long monologue which is so unrealistic.

Can this show be anymore contrived?

That can all be edited. We don't know what they are clapping and or look angry at. I know this show is fake but Maddie winning isn't that unrealistic. Yes her competitor is technically good but they don't have the heart and aren't as graceful as Maddie or Kalani for that matter. And yes Kalani does look out of place in the group. She does look about 18 but probably because she is taller and more voluptuous. She will have to be careful though. She has that type of body that can easily get heavy if eating too much. (I speak from experience). How many people compete in these supposed competitions? How is it that their and they competitors (Candy Apples, MDP) almost always place right before or after them? Are we really supposed to believe there isn't another group or soloist that can beat them?

This was bad. I really can't stand shows when the dialog is so contrived that I can just hear the writers trying to be clever. People just don't talk that way in real life. Plus how can pretend to be 26 when most large companies do background checks, see you license, and ss card, and can easily find the truth online as well? Plus I'm 40 and I use YouTube, know Twitter and instagram, and know Lena Dunham, and I don't have teenage kids. Or maybe I'm just really immature for my age.

Why does every show I read about always just having people complaining about how bad the show is but keep watching it? This is the only show lately where my ADD hasn't kicked in so I like it. Kind of reminds me of the first season of The Killing where there was a different suspect each week.

This. I remember Tuesdays being my favorite day (back when it was on Tuesdays) I would look for spoilers online etc....couldn't wait to get home from work to watch. All over a tv show. Now I can barely watch. I feel like every year and more so now, people always sound great in their auditions and Hollywood and when we get to the live shows many of them don't live up to their potential.

I'm sick of the Abby fat jokes from Cathy. Plus Abby isn't even THAT big anymore. You can really tell the difference in her face when they showed the flashback to her competition show. I don't really believe they are villians. I think it's pretty much scripted at this point.

Why is it that whenever there is someone who is a performer who really can work the state everyone hates him? I think Qassim has the most personality and stage presence of any of the contestants. I thought Maddie was ok. I have a feeling because of how pretty she is they will push her as the next county star. Joey and Nick and Quentin I liked but the rest nor so much and it really bugs me when they praise someone who is off key. Like Raycon.

Only in Bachelor world would parents be head over heels for a woman that would lay in on that thick after 6 weeks. After meeting someone one time you know they are the one for you son? People are saying Whitney is too good for Chris? I think they both suck. So she has a career? She isn't all that attractive imo. Her voice is annoying and she is phony. I know her type. Phony people like that are the first ones to get pissed off and snap. Also he can't even have a conversation. Why would they all be in love with him? And what's wrong with Becca not being in love yet? It took me a year to really fall in love my husband when were dating. Everything before that is just lust and infatuation. That's what most of the Bachelor is also as well as people just wanting their 15 minutes of fame.

I thought it was good. Although Ryan Phillipe looks too young to have a 17 year old daughter. I know he is 40 so technically it's possible but he looks 30 imo.

How is old Anouk supposed to be? She looks at least 45 yet they said it wasn't her last chance to have a child?

Why is it that every year people say the girls were better? I thought that most were terrible.

That Lucy and Ethel makeup was very detailed. They can't actually think we believe the moms do that? A lady I know who's daughter competes says the girls usually do their own makeup but on this show it always looks professionally done.

I have a hard time putting the blame on any of these people (when Becca told him she was a virgin etc...) how do we know how much is completely producer driven? Like Chris Harrison's long heartfelt talk with him is so fake. I often wonder how he keeps a straight face. My issue with the whole proposal thing is how can you propose to someone who you aren't even dating exclusively until the day you propose? I never understand how people say stuff like he should have let both Becca and Kaitlyn go. How can he? That isn't how show works. It isn't up to him. And he doesn't pick who goes on what dates or writes the date cards (nor does CH). This show is very produced.

I wonder if all 3 girls actually sleep with him (in general on all seasons). I'm no prude but don't think I could knowing he could be with 2 other women the same week.

Not finishing college does not make you less intellectual at all! I know several people with masters degrees that are not bright people. I had a friend who has a masters in teaching and believes anything and everything a man tells her. Very obvious lies she believes. Book smarts does not equal street smarts! Being someone's intellectual equal has nothing to do with schooling. I find that insulting to say to anyone that doesn't have a degree. Some people are just born brighter than others. You can be very well read, well traveled, and not have a college degree.

Chris doesn't arrange these dates or pick who goes on them. Has he ever shed an actual tear? All you see his him wiping his eyes and sniffing but never a single tear. Besides an "amazing" drinking game there also needs to be one with how many times they say "I can really see myself with him/her". Why do they say dating and relationship? They go on a couple dates that aren't exclusive. How is that a relationship? And last but definitely not least why does he like Whitney? She is the least prettiest of all the women, her personality and voice are grating, and she acts as if she on a job interview. And all the people I know love her? How can anyone not find her annoying?

Catching up. Assuming this is for real, I saw this as a bunch of mean jealous girls bullying the prettiest girl who is actually really insecure. Britt had issues but she didn't bad mouth and act cold like Carly did several times. I've been through that type of bullying (I wasn't Britts level of beauty but pretty in my younger years and extremely insecure). I had the Carly and Whitney types be very cruel like that. Not over guys but just in school, work, and social situations. On a lighter note I liked Jades lipstick at the Rose ceremony. I much more of a fan of red and brown lipstick and not that shimmery stuff they seem to be using a lot this season.
