  1. They were very distracting! And I thought her eye make up brought more attention to their odd shape. I just want to grab my eyebrow pencil and fix them.
  2. I kept waiting to hear Duke’s motive for killing the teacher...and nothing. Why was he at the house? What happened? So much filler in that episode that they forgot to give us the real meat of the story!
  3. The real Adam gave an interview on my local radio station, and he explains the recast here: https://wmmr.com/2018/10/03/zipperheadsouthstreet/
  4. I think this is the first time I’ve seen a TV family with multiples not really have a strict schedule/plan for handling the babies at home. I could really relate to them - I for sure would be winging it until I could figure out the best way to have a schedule.
  5. The kids will forever have to spell their names for people. “It’s Blu without an e.” ”It’s Layke with a y.” And then I’m sure someone will spell it Lakey. Then he’ll have to say “No, the y goes in the middle.” And then there’s poor “Rawlings...like the baseball glove.”
  6. I agree. I would watch another season. It is dumb, but enjoyable.
  7. In PA they do not go hand in hand. You have to have your bachelors and then pass the NTE - each state requires different tests from the NTE to be certified. Then to keep your certs you have to keep up your education.
  8. I work in a school and there are so many Olivias and Avas. I agree with you about Hazel, althought I know someone that just had a baby and named her Hazel.
  9. Agreed. After Clay was run off the road , came home and yelled at his parents “ oh, and I need a fucking car!” I thought what an entitled brat. And then his parents go and give him a car! His parents are such push overs.
  10. I thought the wife Lon last night’s episode looked like Beverly Goldberg.
  11. She DID look a little like Shirley Jones. How fitting! I also thought the son didn’t seem that exicited but when they did a one shot with him outside after the met he did seem excited.
  12. I also thought the same thing. When I was doing the math in my head I kept thinking I was wrong. She looked 80 to me.
  13. I thought it was the wife as soon as she started flashing her ring to the reporter and bragging about how much it was worth.
  14. I loved Laurie's room. But honestly I was thinking of how many hand prints will be on that mirror from the kids. Other than that I was surprised that the homeowner didn't like it. Maybe it was just the shock of how different it was and it will grow on her.
  15. As that one guy kept telling the other that nothing would break that glass, I was actually thinking, "Why don't they google a way to get through the glass?" They had all those people standing around outside DOING NOTHING. They all looked like they gave up. Surely someone could have figured out how to do some google-fu on that?
  16. Right? All of a sudden they were like, "OK LET'S DO THIS!!!!!!" I liked how Bishop was perfectly fine after being pushed back from the explosion. There are also so many people on this show I have no idea who is who. They all kind of look alike. And funny how they all seem to be about the same age. Where are the gruff veterans?
  17. I'm relieved to see that I'm not the only one. I've never watched this show until last night and I was not impressed. The premise was just weak. My favorite lame part was the doors and windows were impenetrable, but the stone wall crumbles like a cookie with one swing of a mallet? My other favorite lame part was where they grab the hot water heater, which apparently wasn't hot at all. Oh goodness...that was just so bad.
  18. Right? The HO’s reaction to that confused me.
  19. I couldn't agree with you more! I really liked the slats in Hildi's room. But I didn't understand how they went with the leaves. It was not cohesive to me. I liked the ping pong topper for the pool table. The stripes in Clinton's room reminded me of the girls' apartment on the TV show Too Close for Comfort - dated. I didn't really understand the need for the stripper pole and the disco ball. It just seemed like they were thrown in so there would be something shiny (I think that was one of the 4 things Clinton mentioned about fashion design.)
  20. I liked both rooms. They are really the best I've ever seen on the show. I really loved what Jeremiah did with the wood over the fireplace. I hope the others take note: that's how you do a beautiful room that the owners love on a budget.
  21. We actually did the egg thing in elementary school if you can believe it. We then wrapped the shells in yarn. My brother also did it when he had the same teacher, and 30 years later my mom still has them in her china cabinet. As for the rest of Hildi’s room, I liked the colors and even liked the pattern, but it was a crappy paint job. The lines weren’t straight at all. If it were my room I think I’d paint over the ceiling. I would also ask for the leftover paint so that I could fix up the edges. I thought the bike art looked stupid. It looked like they just hung a used drop cloth on the underside of the Murphy bed. I would get rid of that “piece,” although it did look fun to make. Doug’s room turned out much better than I expected!
  22. When I worked at Chi Chi’s, I wore an outfit similar to Becky’s.
  23. What happened with Dani? The show kind of forgot about her and focused on the other student that Shane befriended.
  24. I didn't like that either, and of all people to tell, she told Omarosa. I have a feeling that will come back to bite Shannon.
