This 1000 times. I'm not blaming Maddie. She is clearly the victim here. The point is that kids and technology are going to make mistakes and it's our duty as parents to talk to them and show them the pitfalls that are out there and monitor, monitor, keylog, monitor. We have to teach them WHY no matter how silly and innocent something may seem to them, it's a bad idea to do x y and z. And I'm not joking about keylogging, it may seem like an invasion but up until you can see that a child is responsible with social media it's necessary in my opinion. In almost every single interview these girls give out their "new" Instagram or Twitter or Vine and say "my old one was hacked". This is because nobody in this group (I'm looking at the parents and the producers) are taking the care that they should be with such young girls using social media. There is a reason why Facebook has or had a minimum age to participate. Remember all those Dateline episodes about predators on the internet? Phone pics also give away important location information in their properties. Also, these damn phones shouldn't come with automatic backup to clouds, this is a personal opinion but I find it ridiculous that you have to go out of your way to disable this stuff. But even with that, so many folks use Dropbox and other cloud apps that can be hacked if you don't put strong passwords on them. But this all illustrates why parents have to be mindful if they allow their youngsters to be on social media without training wheels like keylogging and monitoring.

Is it pretty negative over there? They should have suggested here as a safe place to land. :P

That was my thought, who does she have a relationship with at the age of 12 that she would want to send it to? I harangue my 20 year old about snap chat not really going away even though she's in a six year relationship with her boyfriend. You should be able to talk with your kids about all of this and why it's a terrible idea. And Maddie, as an easy target - should have been talked to about the ramifications of these types of things.

Oh Jeebus, THREE OF THEM? Seriously, I think I'm out no matter what stupid thing Whoopi does that I might want to gawk at.

Oh I really hope this isn't true. Twelve is soooo young for her to be doing such a thing and then to be exploited. Where are the parents? Oh yeah, this is Melissa we are talking about.

I've long ago forgiven the Rev, he impressed me in his 2004 POTUS run. I appreciated his hanging in for the early debates because his voice was important, he offered a different POV.

I hope, hope, hope, that given the nature of "rotating" co-hosts, that it's not often that Shepherd and Bure are on at the same time. Who am I kidding, I'll only tune in to see idiocy when there is controversy - if I remember. Mario and his tempting cheesecake were the highlight of the show, dude looks younger every day. I wish they would have locked him as a rotating co-host - his vulnerable moments on the show this year were golden.

Whoopi IS the problem, but it seems she has the iron clad multi-million pay or play contract. I just shake my head daily and wonder how Bill Wolff feels leaving Maddow for this hot mess.

I'd take that bet BUT, it's the analogy of the day in the GOP talking points. It seems to me that Hucksterbee started with that premise and took it to the obscene level in his attempt to call attention to himself to crowd out Trump noise. He was pretty firmly set to be in the top 10 for the debate next week, I really hope this drops him down and out.

Go out and "get" this album? They are too cheap to give away his CD?

They are reading this board and trying to piss us off with the chewing on camera and talking with their mouths full, I'm convinced. ;) They shouldn't have bothered with the Hucksterbee conversation at all - I cannot believe the insensitivity of Raven and her self-righteousness cutting Michelle off. Also, Nicolle came this close >< to using the Neville Chamberlain analogy that was taken away from her this morning on MJ. Raven's full of horse manure too trying to say that his statements are Hucksterbee's truth, this was all about saying the most offensive thing possible to drown out the Trump noise. He's a damn pastor and should know better than to invoke such hate.

Exactly. Yes I'm judging.

I just see that's it's the NY Post and ignore it. My standard response to anything offered there.

That Instagram photo should be grounds for divorce.

All of what you both just said is why we chose to use the wedge in the first place. It seemed to snug and comfort her so she slept better and I thought that was the highest priority. I just had no idea that there were now strong recommendations against their use so I wanted to mention it since I brought it up. My boy would flip and turn and kick himself out of a swaddle so it was a matter of making the crib as safe possible knowing that no matter what we did, he'd be in his "own" position after any of us got any sleep. Wearable blankets, what an awesome idea!

Not for the life of me do I understand why NBC and MSNBC are rewarding Hucksterbee with appearances. But then again, we are in the Trump era. Disgusting.
-
Well that was somewhat alarming. After I mentioned our beloved "wedge" I went reading about it and the CDC recommended against using such things in 2010, due to it being attributed to 13 SIDS deaths. So I'm sorry I brought it up, the lass and the lad are 20 and 17 and things have changed as they often do with baby products.

"You" really sucks at their job.

There are no words. Does she take pills to lower her IQ?

I couldn't even find the story on the Star site, it must be in print only (or I'm suddenly intertoobz inept).

I thought Stacy looked like she had a serious mustache under her cakey make up today.

Do they still have those squishy wedge thingys so babies can sleep on their sides? That's what we used for my lass who was about Gianna's size (preemie clothes too!), my lad was kicking off blankets the first night home from the NICU and moving however he wanted by about six weeks so it was moot, though he was not much of a sleeper period. Thanks for the updates Jenniferbug and Pixie Chicken. Congratulations on your niece jb0495, and I'm so sorry for your friend. I can't even imagine, I almost lost the lad at about 10 weeks in utero, had the first OB tell me there was nothing to be done, spent a weekend praying and found a high risk one that took very good care of us that Monday. There aren't any words, just being there is everything.

Is that what happened? I thought the server crashed because I couldn't get it to load. :(
