  1. Same and UGH. All I can think is the Show wants a current/long-time respectable authority on the Show and someone who used to be part of a supercouple (which didn't ever have sexual assault as part of the history) to congratulate C&J in a really poor attempt to make them seem like a legit couple with a real future, Well said!!! Swerve is the perfect word to describe the WTF-ery of their scenes as well as all the people who are either accepting or endorsing this commitment. She's a great cook .... of pasta and meatballs with sauce Trina brought from NF. Alrightey then. I LOLed that Trina said the Tan-O bar didn't serve food. Well, if you can get drinks there but no food, I guess it explains why they don't ever have customers. I had a hard time getting into the "fun" scene because is that a recast Aiden?!! 😢 Or hopefully just a temp re-cast? I was looking forward to seeing Cam, Jake and real Aiden with Violet camping since both Elizabeth and Finn had said "the boys." I heard the excuse that Jake had a sleepover, but where was Cam?🙁 I really enjoy seeing the Webber brothers interact so it was rather disappointing. ....in the same spot where their dear friend Lenny just died. Because he thought it would be romantic. Btw "Mike" you actually "met Nina" inside the Tan-O, not there. I love how he built it up that this was going to be a "surprise" and "romantic." Nina is excited, wearing a fancy-ish blue blouse and skirt that would be appropriate for an up-scale restaurant. In contrast, Sonny is wearing a black collared shirt and jeans and the "romantic scene" right outside the Tan-O, including the food, looks like it took maybe 30 min.-1 hour to set up. This Show proves again how low-budget it is. Meanwhile, now Carly is concerned about potential trouble with the 5 Families at their wedding?! *Gasp* Cyrus may still have connections that could hurt her and/or her loved ones gathered together on their big day. How many eyeroll emojis are needed for this one?
  2. SO TRUE!!! There have been various moments over the years since LW was cast as Carly that Carly has either demonstrated or said that she actively thinks of Jason as sexy/handsome/whatever. Whereas Jason treats her as a friend who often irritates him and makes his life difficult, but will acknowledge if necessary that they were involved a long time ago. I get that Josslyn is maid of honor because Carly doesn't have any female friends and Michael is best man in part because Jason's only male friend is Spinelli (I assume he'll be the wedding official), but they're acting like Michael never got shot in the head for standing near Sonny. Ridiculous. I never thought I'd say this, but I can't wait for Sonny to go back to PC so we can be done with this awful NF storyline. It boggles the mind that nurse Phyllis has completely shrugged off Sonny's amnesia despite seeing that he had a wedding ring on his finger when she met him, and is pushing him to move forward with Nina because she just lost her husband.
  3. My favorite moment of the episode!! Really good line read by IR. I actually clapped. But in what universe is it believable that Jason would voluntarily almost kiss Carly and she would pull away? Talk about sloppy writing given he still considers Robin to be a friend. I thought the scene at the pool of her reminding Jason of his days acting with SJB's Carly was building to her trying to kiss him and/or having a "realization that she's fallen in love with Jason" next week. It's like she's trying to tell him in as subtle a way as Carly can manage that they were always meant to be. Good use of Harmony, figuring out in just minutes with Esme and Ryan that Esme is a bunny boiler and warning Alexis. I really enjoyed Alexis trying to get through to nuSpencer; good work by NLG. "Smike" gets a clue. Phyllis is useless. LWB again demonstrates he thinks he's on a stage doing Shakespeare. Peter's threat to destroy her life in Port Charles is laughable; Jason would shoot him before he ever got close enough to Carly to speak to her and there are at least a handful of other people who would arrest/kidnap or kill him as soon as he was seen anywhere. Do the writers really think the audience is stupid enough to get on board with a Sonny/Carly/Jason triangle at this point in the Show's history? I want Robin, Elizabeth, Sam, and Monica to be present at that wedding and laugh their asses off when Carly doesn't get to marry the man she's always truly wanted. (I'm just assuming).
  4. Yup. I thought the same thing. But Sam wants Dante to think she's a good mom. Correct. He hired someone to stab Andre. Andre survived. Then he hired an assassin to sneak into GH and kill both Andre and Franco, but changed his mind and decided to play hero who "killed the assassin and saved them." Probably both IMO. I think she has already said it, without realizing it: Michael + Wiley and all Michael's relatives gave her an instant family. She told Carly right before Wiley's birthday party, that she "loves" being a part of the family. It was only her and her mother as she grew up, and she wasn't close with her mom. Then this week, she told Chase she felt completely alone after giving up her baby, when she met him. She just doesn't understand that getting attached to Wiley and becoming a member of Michael's families, was not the way to deal with her loss and fill the void(s) of loneliness and heartbreak after Chase and Sasha lied. Michael clearly never gave a damn about Willow's emotional health. He needed a mommy for Wiley and he had feelings for Willow from before she started dating Chase; he only cared about getting what he wanted. I remember when he flat out said he believed Willow and Wiley "need" each other. No. He said before the wedding-that-wasn't that marrying Maxie meant "I win" and Faison ultimately lost. He still wants Maxie as the prize. Having Maxie and Louise with him, regardless if it's Maxie's choice, is a win for him. He fully intended to kidnap Maxie and newborn Lou and start a new life somewhere. If she was the real Gangsta, she would have stabbed him while he was in her apartment! i was appalled that he pressured her to let him sleep on her couch at her "place" and she gave in (this was the first time I heard she was no longer staying at the Tan-O.). Or, there's no way she could have sneaked a phone call over night after Peter fell asleep, telling the PCPD or local police to surround her place without sirens, and then locked herself in the bathroom while they busted the door in and captured Peter?! Come onnnn. Not long after they took "Mike" in, Phyllis told him she and Lenny lost a baby. I think the infant died a few hours or day after birth? After that they didn't have any more kids. I thought the only positives about this episode were: Finn in supportive big brother mode giddily asking Chase to come camping with him and Violet, Elizabeth and her boys AND Liesl insulting Jason and Carly to Maxie/Liesl and Britt looking so pretty (their dresses, hair and makeup). ETA: Also, Chase shirtless at the beginning!! 😁 I missed the first few minutes. (Seriously, if not for the obvious unwritten rule that Carly and Sonny's eldest must always win, the only reasons for a woman to be drawn to Michael are: she wants to be a mother, financial security due to his wealth, and a bunch of his family members to have her back.)
  5. Thank you!!! I think the same regarding Maxie wearing a heavy leather jacket in summer. Is Leo a recast? I don't recall that the kid had thick, curly hair. Same. Maxie was supposed to be on a trip with her two kids, so that was a real surprise. I thought for sure the mixed look of shock, horror and panic when Nina answered the door was because Ava (maybe with Avery) came to visit, since Trina just said that Ava was "in no shape" to work at the gallery and Ava announced to Kevin that she had to get out of Port Charles. Yes. (Not a spoiler). Makes more sense than Peter showing up in Nixon Falls, with no sign of a recent traumatic head injury, hypothermia, or any other signs of physical injuries. Renowned disease physician Hamilton Finn also checked his pulse. If he had been inside the hospital, doesn't a doctor have to pronounce time of death for it be official? I got confused for a moment, thinking that he was imagining Scout as an adult (before she said her name). That scream didn't sound British. I also don't think it's Holly because no one has said her name in quite a while. That was my thought, too. At least a half dozen characters have said her name recently, wanting to find her or for her not to be found. Naomi didn't die/get murdered for no reason. "Smike" has shitty powers of observation, asking Nina if she's going to be okay with this guy when she looks like she's about to burst into tears and collapse to the floor in a full-on breakdown. Michael reminding Chase how he lied first with good intentions shows what a pathetic and entitled coward Michael is. And then that offended look as he was asking Chase not to give Austin that paper. At least Chase can move on from them now, seeing that they're not actually sorry and don't deserve his friendship. I enjoyed watching him drop truth bombs on Willow.
  6. I thought Nurse Eavesdropper was going to turn out to be a girl Spencer paid as a helper in his stalker activities. IMO he didn't looked shocked when his father announced that Ava's car was on fire but she wasn't hurt. Then when she kissed Spencer in front of Trina, I figured she was a wannabe girlfriend (a 'friend with benefits' situation perhaps) whom Spencer confided in/complained to at school but never intended for her to be a real girlfriend in his Port Charles life, hence the vague comment "France will always be there" when Britt asked him about his love life. He is a little pissant. And his father, grandmother and stepgrandfather as well as his "friends" should be questioning how it is that Spencer never mentioned seeing anyone, she wasn't there by his side during all the drama at the party (Trina was) but then she shows up and claims she's his gf and they share everything. Actually, I think Nikolas is in his 40s. When TC made his debut as Nikolas in the '90s, he was supposed to be not much older than teen Lucky. Lulu is supposedly 30-something now, and she was a baby when TC debuted. She really did. I was taken aback when Epiphany said she considered Jason to be a friend. She has been helpful to him before, but as far as I know the only thing she ever got out of it was him hiring her son, who was later murdered. I liked Elizabeth and Bobbie both spelling out the co-dependency of the Jason- Carly relationship, without actually using the word. Elizabeth's history with Jason is complicated and they have a kid, and I get that Bobbie unfortunately will always protect and defend Jason/Sonny/Carly. The other two nurses really don't know Jason at all. And if this is supposed to be a night of Terry inviting nurses out, where's Felix? The Show just made a point about Elizabeth and Felix being important nurses, in the scenes with student Nurse Tait. No, she was told to cut Elizabeth's hours. Finn requested that she be transferred from working with him when she got suspicious about the Chase situation. Yup, it was up to Terry to invite Britt. The scenes came off as very "I'm/Terry is the good boss who appreciates this team of nurses, we already know/I'm telling you that you have to earn good will from this team in order to be included in, or invited to, such a gathering." Terry's attitude about Britt sitting alone at the bar seemed to be "you're alone, you did it to yourself, too bad so sad. Terry and Bobbie were the worst, as Bobbie made damn sure to let Britt know she feels "Nurse Spencer" is superior. (Although I wonder if that's just part of the Spencer entitlement, that we've seen in Lulu's behavior so many times.) I caught that comment from Elizabeth as well; I don't know if she has any awareness of that incident because she got close to Jason after that was over and he had given up Michael. The Show has made it clear since JJ left that Aiden is Lucky's only child. I remember when Elizabeth said the father of "my youngest" is an absentee dad, and when there was a mention of Lucky at Christmastime a couple years ago, she told Franco that Cam had encouraged "Aiden to spend Christmas with his dad in Ireland." (As in, Cam and Lucky do not consider themselves to be father and son.) Jake's lines since HW took over the role, especially in the last two years, have him calling Jason "dad" and re: Franco "I'll miss being your son." Yup. As soon as they were alone, when Trina left, I thought "she's supposed to be Michael's Nelle - obsessed with being his "love," and is dangerous/mentally unhinged. " He is going to get in way over his head with this girl, and need Joss and Cam for backup when jealous Esme targets Trina. I won't be surprised if Spencer is "redeemed by saving Trina and Ava" from his lunatic girlfriend. I hope Laura will apologize to Nikolas. The line about her fears regarding him becoming a Cassadine are now coming true was rich. She knows he had an affair with his brother's fiance, that Spencer is the result of an affair with Sonny's then-married sister, she's supposed to know that he paid someone to shoot Hayden, she knows he let all his loved ones think he was dead for years in order to reclaim his fortune.....he hardly has a record of being a moral, upstanding guy. I don't get why they all decided he must be innocent just because he wasn't around when Ava's car burst into flames. It's not like he doesn't have the means to make that happen. On a related noted, why isn't anyone asking Trina about "Victor" anymore? Now after the party drama is the perfect time to address that lie. When Portia came upon the two of them in the park right after July 4th, Trina introduced him as Victor. And now, Portia knows that he is Spencer, son of Nikolas, but doesn't express concern that Spencer lied to her/her and her daughter? Come on. Spencer's anger IMO seems to be that his father outsmarted and scared him, when he always thinks of himself as the epic smart schemer in the room. There is a mixture of hurt and smug superiority present as well though, about how Nikolas has been so focused on Ava whom he feels is inferior the Cassadines, instead of on their father-son relationship and choosing a woman whom Spencer decides is worthy of being in their lives. Spencer flat out said to Trina that he threw this party for her, to show "I'm worthy."
  7. I ...think?.... the Show is trying to have Josslyn project her "I've fallen in love with my best friend Cam" storyline onto her mother and Jason, starting with the "relationships can be complicated" line right before she and Cam were "officially" a couple, when Jason and Carly announced their engagement. Carly reacted like, when did you become an authority on relationships. Ava doesn't know Spencer that well. Spencer and Nik's relationship has been in a really bad place, and Spencer is his only child. Ava knows what it's like to lose a child. She's still living with the grief of losing Kiki; the idea of losing her only living child to a stalker is absolutely terrifying. I think at least 50 % of her reaction to Nikolas is projection of her loss of Kiki onto him. And of course she doesn't want to believe that the son of the man she loves, would be so dark and twisted as to threaten her little girl who is also his cousin. Spencer supposedly loved and respected Avery's father, "Uncle Sonny," so I understand that skepticism. I thought Spencer looked like he was dressed to study or watch movies on the couch - not at all party attire. Apparently "epic bad behavior" is off-screen dancing so much that not one of them has a hint of sweat on them, and using props to take cutesy shots in a party photo booth. I laughed at Carly's "HOW DARE YOU?!" reaction and baring her front teeth to attack, when Jax brought up Morgan. It was in fact a Mob car bomb that blew up, just not one Sonny planted. DZ seemed like he was really trying to make it work. I actually was amused by the "I'm not your type" digs because "brooding" and "law breaking" applies to both Jason and Sonny, and shows that Sam has poor judgement. She deliberately chose men who made her life difficult. Drew doesn't count since she only fell for him because she thought he was Jason. It seemed like she dated Patrick mostly because she liked the idea of a stable daddy for Danny and could gain a daughter by being the mother presence to Patrick's daughter, Emma. As for Lucky, she seduced him as a Fuck you to Elizabeth and Jason. That call was a fail for both KeMo and CM. He sounded like Drew was casually calling Sam while driving somewhere, and Sam just seemed kind of startled like a colleague she hadn't heard from in years decided to get in touch. Speaking of - LOLOLOL that Sam thinks very highly of herself, presuming she and Dante are "colleagues." Lady, you're a felon. Dante just reminded you of that about 5 minutes ago at the scene of Naomi's death/murder. My jaw dropped when Laura asked Elizabeth if she'd been in touch with her dad about Naomi's death, Elizabeth replied she hadn't heard from him "in months" and seemed to imply that her parents are divorced. This is the first time I've EVER heard Elizabeth acknowledge any sort of contact with her parents. Just weeks ago, Scotty asked her if her father could come to help her. Elizabeth wondered aloud to to Laura if she'll ever hear from or see Hayden again. This makes me wonder if the Show intends to bring back Dr. Webber and/or Hayden. If not, at least bring back her brother, Steven Lars! He should definitely be out of prison by now.
  8. I'm not sure it was manipulation since the four of them had already talked about "what if?" Anyway, Michael and Willow weren't forced into a MoC anymore than Willow was forced to marry Chase. She made choices each time, including sleeping with Michael during their son's birthday party, when she knows she is Chase's wife. Probably. The last time I recall that Donna was on-screen, she was an infant. Brando had just "saved Carly's life" when he was new to Port Charles, and Carly was all "meet our baby." Has Jason even told Jake and Danny that he and Carly are getting married? I LOL at Carly's hurt face that Jason has no intention of playing "Daddy" to Donna. I was waiting for Carly to say "So how did your boys take the news?" The "our kids" stuff just comes across as Jason saying he's taking on the responsibility to protect all of the spawn of both Carly and Sonny (except for Dante). Yes, he is. He asked for an alcoholic beverage while they were sitting by the pool, Britt said no, and he protested that he could drink in Europe. Voluntarily, yes. The only times he's seen them recently is because Elizabeth brought Jake to see Jason at the PC jail before he was transferred to Pentonville, and Sam brought Danny to see Jason when he was handcuffed to the bed in General Hospital while he was recovering from the stab wound courtesy of Shawn in Pentonville jail cell/Carly. I was wondering the same thing - the only teenagers on the Show right now are Spencer, Trina, Joss, Cam and Cam's brother, Jake. I just assumed the actress/Show agreed on her hair style, so she would look more like the actress who plays Portia, Trina's mom. No, she was pre-school age the last time BM's Drew was in a scene with Scout. She was SORAS-ed after Oscar died; she was coloring/drawing in Drew's office at Aurora. Alexis was there as well. Absolutely. Her tears today that she's "worried things will change between us" were worthy of several eye rolls. So much WTF. Carly if true to character would do cartwheels of joy if Jason so much as vaguellyyyyy hinted that he might be romantically and/or sexually interested in her once they are married.
  9. I wondered the same thing. I saw the montage start and thought, "ooh,, it must be a teaser for the SD tribute episode." NOPE! That's really crappy if the "tribute" to SD is a brief montage of just footage of him (no Alan and Monica, Alan and young Jason/SBu,, etc.) after an episode where the only people talking about Alan were Austin and Scott, and the only Qs in the episode were BL and Michael. Michael and Willow really are the worst. They're acting like Chase is some guy in a wheelchair living at the Q mansion who is a burden on their great lurvvvee, until he can walk. I would never guess that Willow ever genuinely cared about him, let alone was completely in love with him. Ugh!! Michael, shut the HELL up. I'm so confused about the Naomi/Sam and Shawn stuff and why a guy in a tux would be hiding ...in Naomi's bathroom? So now Naomi's dead because someone's after Hayden, or after Violet? Shawn as Mr. Seeker of Justice makes me roll my eyes. Alexis, have you ever met Spencer? He's not "a ham."
  10. i was confused that some random (to me) woman walked into Kelly's and called Violet's name. Is this the same actress who has played Naomi in the past or is it a re-cast? Has Finn actually met Naomi before? Does this mean Naomi has been in Europe for a year, knowing Hayden disappeared and left Violet with Finn but decided to stick with some guy? I guess Naomi has appeared out of nowhere because the Show is not bringing back RB, or it's laying the foundation for Hayden to return? I was almost surprised that Violet asked about "mommy." I like seeing Elizabeth all but ignore her father's ex-mistress/lover. I liked Jax really irritating Carly and the sarcasm about/with Jason. Good work there by IR, lol. I almost laughed that Carly looked hurt when Jax said their marriage is for business. Is the bra-less dress supposed to make Carly look summer sexy? Because.....it doesn't. By contrast, Laura's outfit for her meeting with Dante makes it seem like mid/late fall. Soo, 9 months and the Show is telling us Lulu isn't returning in the near future. The most noticeable thing about Sam is her puffy lips. That guard is just going to stand there. not noticing as Alexis and Nikolas go through Ryan's returned, un-opened mail? Is Felicia just permanently off-screen (aside from the Sean tribute episode)? She hasn't been in a scene with Maxie since before Maxie found out she was pregnant with baby Louise, and it seems like the Show is having Dr. O fill that void is Anna's life as the female talk-to who is also Maxie's family. They're frenemies now? I liked Ava asking Shawn if the years in jail for loyalty to Sonny was worth it.
  11. And then today he was an obnoxious asshole to Cam, and spoke like Ava was some peasant who married his father, all to/right in front of Laura's face. I'm happy that Laura scolded Spencer, but it should have been a harder smackdown. I have to wonder, was he going to add his beloved grandmother to his list of enemies if Laura said anything positive about Ava. I liked Cam's snark about Spencer's ego. I feel bad for Stella collapsing, but she was extremely entitled in everything she said until a teenager got hurt. She admitted today she's projecting the loss of her own love. Truth is, she hasn't witnessed enough of Jordan and Curtis' marriage to be sure Curtis will have regrets - she didn't live with them. I don't understand why she brought up Taggert's lost marriage because she doesn't know him that well. He defended Willow's character, but you can see he's getting angrier and more disgusted when he's trying to test them with comments, giving them an opportunity to tell the truth, and they're so easily lying to his face. He said as much to Austin. Willow's puzzled look "something seems off with Chase" made me roll my eyes. LOL. I wanted Carly and Joss to both get hit by lightning as Cam was apologizing to Carly/talking about his intentions, Carly brought up the happiness and safety of her daughter in the context of Cam picking up a gun and aiming it as Jason ... while Joss beamed with joy at Cam being "impressive." Yet the Mob Queen Bad Ass looked afraid of having a one-on-one talk with Jason's mommy. Hey Monica, Tracy is your late husband's sister, so she's family, and she didn't gaslight and help cover up the murder of your and your late husband's son!!! UGH, another shitty moment. Elizabeth was Lucky's ex-wife and fiance at the time of that affair. Lucky said it hurt so much that Nik had reverted to "betraying Cassadine bastard" behavior (i.e., he thought Nikolas always had it in him to do that) whereas Elizabeth was supposed to always be the angel he fell in love with they were teenagers. The idea that she could betray him and lie to him when he hadn't betrayed and failed her first this time, crushed him. On a sort of related note, I loveeeee how Chase is behaving (much like Lucky when talking to Nik and Elizabeth separately after seeing them having sex, but before he confronted them). The "guy who used to be my best friend" line was a good start. I think he's giving himself time to figure out what to do, and I hope he's setting them up to be revealed as the assholes they are. I like how Austin is giving Willow and Michael such a look of disgust when they didn't act at all guilty with Chase. That was a rather small gathering for the fake-looking birthday cake - not even everyone who lives in that mansion!! I get that Dante picked this (odd) time to take Rocco to see his comatase mommy, but seriously no other kids?! No Grandma Bobbie? No Aunt Kristina?
  12. It's a pretty bad day when Willow and Michael out-asshole Spencer in the same episode. Although I love that Chase knows Willow is an adulterer because Michael was stupid/careless on the first floor and then he heard them talking. She can't deny the adultery since they left the ripped condom wrapper behind. I....think....I like the dynamic between Chase and Austin. Chase needs a friend right now. I hope Chase makes them suffer, once he gets past the initial pain that "Willow is in love with Michael." I don't see how anyone can see Michael as a "good guy" now - no remorse about sleeping with Chase's wife, and no remorse for ditching his own son's birthday party for so long people were wondering what happened to them. Poor Trina. Stella should feel awful. In Trina's shoes, I would have run away from them both, too. I can't tell if Willow's last look when BL said she doesn't know where Chase is, was guilt or worry. So, were/are Phyllis and Lenny really, truly all alone in the world until "Smike" and Nina came to Nixon Falls? No friends nor family ever who cared for them? Nixon Fails, indeed. FYI - Last approx. 20 min. of Show pre-empted because of Pentagon bus station shooting press conference.
  13. What they did IS trash, absolutely. I gasped when Brooklyn was telling Nina via phone that Wiley was about to start opening his presents ... and there's Willow and Michael having sex in her bedroom, after she was just crying her eyes out over seeing her mother and that her bio son is dead. I hope Chase catches them in the act, with Austin's help, and tells them he's done with them both. Willow and Michael deserve to feel like garbage. Totally agree. Yup. Yup. I'm confused by what I think is another retcon. The last time Willow and Harmony saw each other was before Willow and Michael's MoC wedding. They were getting along better; Willow even said something about starting to get her mother back. I think Harmony was on parole and Cyrus had a hand in that? Now Harmony has been talking like she's been in Pentonville all this time? And Willow's tipping point for the day is her mother showing up at Wiley's birthday party? You would think that Willow hasn't seen her since running away from Shiloh and the cult. I HATE that Jason and Carly were sharing all of Willow's personal business with Valentin. Even if it's a matter of public record, it's not their story to tell. I almost laughed at the hypocrisy at Carly judging Harmony as a mother, and saying Harmony deserved to go to jail. It gives me some consolation that she's jealous and hurt/upset that Jason is dwelling on the pain he caused Britt. ALSO - if this is supposed to be a big 3rd birthday celebration for Wiley, why is Jason leaving before it starts and where are Ned, Grandma Bobbie and Uncle Lucas (who?), cousins Jake, Danny and Scout, Aunt Kristina, Aunt Josslyn, and Aunt Avery (who's living with Carly at the moment!). Shut UP Stella. What is she going to do next, lock Curtis and Jordan in a room until she hears them promise her they're going to move back in together and work on their marriage? Poor Trina, hearing Stella confront her mom about cheating on her dad with Curtis.
  14. That doesn't matter, since they're retconning the whole story now anyway. Yes, as of today they've retconned it that she doesn't know: she thought Nikolas had something to do with it and he justlied to her face and told her to put it behind her. But she seems suspicious of him. They retconned a memory of Elizabeth and nuNikolas discussing/arguing about it in the hospital stairwell. As for the rest of today: Ugh Carly is so smug that "I know my son" and talking about his and Willow's "obvious love for each other." The only thing I found acceptable is the Show having Carly acknowledge she's intrusive. Sooo, talking about her dead son and everything Chase did to be supportive of her, and a future birthday putting their toddler son to bed is such a turn-on for these two? EEWWWWWWW. i bet that was her mother Harmony putting flowers at the grave and showing up at the over the top birthday party for the little brat since Willow just spoke of her mother to Carly. No way do I believe Nelle would come back and put flowers at the grave of the baby she used as a prop. For those who have wondered, Carly is now saying her so-called hesitancy about the marriage is people's perception that she is moving on with Jason too soon after Sonny's death/she didn't truly love or mourn for Sonny. Howarth is good with the Austin quips. Soooo, Shawn openly acknowledges to Sam that Sonny ordered him to shoot "Jake Doe" but no big deal since nobody knew who "Jake Doe" really was at the time and Hayden showed up on the scene. Sam shrugs it off with "glad you didn't, or I wouldn't have my daughter"?!?! Now on with our investigation.... She is so horrible. Spencer is the quite the young psychopath, threatening that the stalker could make Trina bleed for real the next time if Ava doesn't cut off all contact with his father. His whole scene with Ava was creepy manipulation. I can't quite tell if MW is playing it that she's figured out Spencer is dangerous/may be the stalker. She seemed scared. I guess KSt. won't be gone long since Austin is having "weird dreams" of two women talking while he was unconscious.
  15. What do you mean? Robin is still on friendly terms with Sonny. At Thanksgiving when she came to PC with the kids (off-screen Noah was an infant), she willingly went over to S&C's house. She agreed, with a smile on her face, to bring Noah over soon because Sonny asked to meet him. Because in Carly's heart, it's not a MOC, and Sonny would accuse her of marrying the man she had always wanted. Carly and Sonny's relationship started with hated sex, when she was jealous of seeing Jason dancing with Elizabeth, and Sonny lied, taunting her about Jason and Liz because he knew she wanted Jason for herself. Walking out wasn't the right move for Britt, but Monica should also have been upset that Terry brought her son (who is not on staff at GH, and therefore it was highly unprofessional) into the conversation to use as a punch line against Britt. I thought Jason's WTF reaction to Britt when he was in the elevator was funny. They came face to face and she asked him a question; she didn't go looking to confront him. She wasn't having a personal conversation at the Nurse's Station, or while patients or other staff members were standing there watching her. What Britt did with the embryo is a matter of public record and Britt went to prison and in Soap Land USA got her license reinstated. But that's not an issue of Britt's behavior toward Terry, or vise versa. What I see is the Show wanting to get credit/ratings/praise for hiring a trans actor, and attempting to manipulate the audience by connecting her to legacy character Elizabeth to do it. I genuinely wonder if the Show is creating this " Soap stereotypical female" (gossipy, attacking her female competition Britt, showing off her dress to the Savoy bartender) personality for Terry in an effort to say to the audience, "We totally gave this trans actor a real female role on GH, so we deserve all the kudos for being woke!" All it tells me is that their are lazy writers working, and they realized they need a stand-in/talk to friend for Elizabeth since years ago writers killed off her best friend. Yes either Carly should have been talking to Bobbie instead, or Bobbie should have been voicing her concerns about the marriage to Laura since Bobbie and Laura have so much history together. The only reason IMO it ever makes sense for Laura to go to see Carly is if she wants to discuss Lulu. Back when GF was off the show and JMB played Lulu, Lulu was close to Carly as well as Tracy. Carly's relationship with Lulu then (pre-Joss) was similar to her relationship with Joss now. I did not interpret it that way at all. It is cannon that Chase was/is in love with Willow and wanted to marry her some day if they worked things out. Chase believed Willow wanted to be with him because he gave her an out at Christmas and she didn't take it. She said she still loved him but also had feelings for Michael. She and Chase went out to dinner and she willingly kissed him. He was there for her when she was crying over Wiley's "not my real mommy" remark and they also held hands and hugged when he was upset about finding out his mother slept with Finn/Finn could be his bio father. His fever dream after that was Willow moving back in with him. He believed they were in the beginning of the new start to their relationship that would culminate in marriage, but him dying speeded that up. It doesn't help that Willow keeps telling him she loves him. He feels she's holding something back, he's just not sure what because he hasn't been in a regular, clear state of mind due to being ill in the hospital for so long and now fighting to recover. I'm not sure where they're going with Liz with this who shot Hayden storyline. Maybe the Show is re-working it because they can't show the scenes of Liz with TC's Nikolas discussing Hayden? It was deliberate that during the scene with Sam she remembered NIk's voice in a conversation only. 🤣😂
  16. This is seriously the funniest description of Olivia I've ever read!😂
  17. Carly has been " in love" (obsessed with) Jason since before she was even pregnant with Michael and that is public knowledge, But I assume we'll get scenes of Carly "feeling torn" when Sonny returns (my guess, a moment after J&C are pronounced husband and wife, at which time Carly's face will say "Damn it!!) So Carly may go crying to Laura about how this is oh-so-hard for her. I was looking forward to the Elizabeth scenes because Becky Herbst did such a great job with Elizabeth's reaction to Cam and Joss making out. But the Show ruined it by her calling Joss "sweet" and the mother-son scene being all about them losing Franco. Well, at least they haven't retconned Elizabeth knowing that Nikolas had Hayden shot. Sam continues to be stupid. Nikolas shading Hayden like that should have made her of all people suspicious if the Show is really going with "Sam never knew who was responsible for shooting Hayden." The scene of Chase holding and singing to moving, cooing Bailey/Louise as she looked into his eyes was just 😍. BL, needs to open her mouth and tell Chase the damn truth about losers Michael and Willow. Chase looks like an idiot yearning to be Willow's husband "in every sense". I will give the writers credit for Valentin's good lines today. So Olivia wants Dante to consider letting Lulu go because she wants to see him have a spark to his life again. Okay, hypocrite. I LOVED seeing Trina turn Spencer's bragging around on him, and then Joss and Cam backing her up. Ha! I hope stalker Spencer gets outed soon.
  18. Yes, I laughed at that and also today at Sasha for appealing to Gladys' vanity/ego to manipulate her into accepting a job at Deception, when Gladys was all offended that Brando wanted her to get her own place and get a job to afford it, because he wants his child to have his/her own bedroom in his home. He is putting his baby's needs ahead of his mother's desire to continue to live with him for free, what nerve! 🙄
  19. I was actively wondering if the Show was deliberately dumbing Laura down in that scene, because I don't buy that she would believe Jason has romantic feelings for Carly given the Spencer Family's history with Sonny, Jason and Carly. Also, I thought considering how much Laura loves Elizabeth and the boys, she would say something to Carly about making an effort to get along with Elizabeth once she becomes Jake's stepmother. I agree with all of this. I am genuinely wondering if "Peter's body is missing" means not dead-Drew is part of this storyline, because the writers think they're clever. Jason was trying to figure out who could have seen Elizabeth and Finn moving the body, and would want to protect her/them? I thought, Drew. Who could still have his own memories along with Jason's, and remember what Peter did and said to him? Drew. Yeah, I hated Laura projecting her marriage to Kevin onto the DOES NOT APPLY Jason-Carly situation. Ugh. It's about as bad as the time Laura told Elizabeth she understood about falling in love with a man who has darkness in him/a dark side. I was appalled because her marriage to Luke was not remotely comparable to Elizabeth and Franco. Will the Show PLEASE stop using GF/Laura to prop toxic relationships!!! Cam has a job as a busboy at Kelly's. That's where he cut himself one time and then saw him mom and Franco at GH, and that's where Trina confronted him (not long after the dance where he and Joss kissed) about avoiding her and so they both confessed to confusion about their feelings. Eh, Sasha with Gladys today was funny. Britt yelling at Jason about what he owed her as he stepped in the elevator at GH, and his WTF reaction, was also funny. I thought the B stood for Bad, Brat or Bitch. When she started, Terry made comments about Elizabeth being bad in her youth as Liz spoke of difficulty with being mom to a teenage boy. Two more things that irritated me this week: Shawn talking like he raised TJ, and thanking Curtis for being a role model to TJ when he was no longer available because TJ "could have gone down the wrong path." So this Mob Flunky actually thought of himself as a good father/role model to teenage TJ?! He actually laughed when Carly thanked him for stabbing Jason while in prison. Maybe Carly should be marrying Shawn. They deserve each other. Why did Jordan have an accusatory look and tone toward Finn, as if he's Jason? We know he threw Peter down the stairs, but she doesn't. He was standing there talking to Anna, someone she trusts, when she and Dante arrived on scene. She supposedly genuinely respects Finn as the man her friend Anna almost married, as well as the doctor who is a brother to her officer, Chase, and saved his life.
  20. Britt walked away after Terry was being nasty/unprofessional to her in front of Monica, and Monica told them, "you're going to be co-chiefs." Terry was mad that Britt (accurately) pointed out she spends on-duty time gossiping. She accused Britt of letting Cyrus run drugs through the hospital and then the "Jason Morgan satisfying your needs" line...I would have walked away too. This. It rings totally false to me since Elizabeth came to Port Charles as a young teen, and the Show made it a point that she had felt alone/isolated and second best to Sarah. She never spoke about missing anyone or leaving a close friend behind. Why couldn't she have been added as a friend from Finn or Portia or even Britt's youth? They came to Port Charles as adults, so the intro would be much more believable IMO. it makes me wonder if she's even aware of that, or just assumes Jason is a local mobster with no local family connections (other than his kids) who was a friend of "Biz" and got her pregnant. She has shown she has no problem opening her mouth when she doesn't know what she's talking about and pressing women for gossip. Not really. She hasn't done anything to Terry. She just decided that what she knows of Britt's past from Elizabeth, and the fact that Cyrus hired Britt to be CoS, means that Britt doesn't deserve the job whereas she, Terry, really wants the job and feels she would be great at it, or at least better than Britt. I could watch it too, but honestly Carly, Joss and Spencer is my ideal lineup of people who deserve to be shoved/knocked into the pool...by Ava. Or Nikolas. Or Trina. I just can't with Stella saying to Jordan "giving up on my nephew" as if Jordan's just not trying hard enough and Curtis needs his auntie to enforce the correct choice for his life. It reminds me of Olivia's attitude with Lulu when Dante left Port Charles and then sent divorce papers.
  21. That's all retconned today. I was so surprised to see Sam wearing color and speaking loudly/clearly enough to be heard, that I almost missed her "Huh? Hmmm" expression when Jax said try Elizabeth, she's Hayden sister, and then told her and Shawn that he and Hayden had been working with Nikolas so he could get the Cassadine fortune back. So true!! That's exactly what the Show is doing. Today Dr. Randolph sounded like a high school/early college brat talking to Britt in Monica's office. She was mad that Britt brought up her gossiping at the Nurse's Station (which is true, and unprofessional) and so she tried to turn it into Britt is bad for this hospital because she probably looked the other way while Cyrus did his thing, "Jason Morgan satisfying your needs?" etc. Then eavesdropped on what Britt said to Jason and was like, are you going to turn down this job because of your ex? UGH. This character is beyond annoying. In the category of I just can't with this: Alexis and Nikolas openly discussing Spencer, Ava and the divorce/stalker situation a few feet away from Ryan with Alexis insisting Ryan is de-activated and thus not a threat....Sonny saying he almost went to PC to "bring you back to me" like Nixon Fails is their home and they are a couple....Monica saying after Britt walked out that she decided and presented the idea of co-chiefs of staff to the board.... Jason telling Spinelli to disable the camera and then within moments in the dark in the basement, searching for the freezer with a flashlight.
  22. A) She put Elizabeth on the spot in front of other people, and it wasn't at a time when Elizabeth was comfortably talking about her family connections. My read on it was that she was being pushy/intrusive. B) I would agree with you, had the Show not specifically addressed Elizabeth's sexuality and comfort level as a teenage girl, post-rape. Her friendship and first kiss experience with Terri would have been directly relevant to her first kiss with Lucky, a guy friend she had a crush on, as well as Lucky sleeping on the floor since she supposedly had sleepovers with Terri in the past. That first kiss with Lucky was such a big deal, with Elizabeth up to that moment wondering if she could ever feel normal again after being raped. There was a strong implication at the time that she had never been physically or emotionally close with a boy prior to the rape, and never once mentioned Terri to Emily as she and Lucky were getting close. That's why I feel it's a retcon.
  23. The Show introduced this character as an oncologist, who was a friend of Elizabeth's from before Elizabeth and Sarah came to live with Audrey. I think Elizabeth was supposed to be 14/15ish then. There was a mention that pre-trans, he was Elizabeth's first kiss. In a conversation last December, Elizabeth said something like, "Oh, you're going home to see your parents for Christmas?" and the response was something like "Yes, they still ask about your parents. Is there any hope with you and your parents?" (Umm, none of your business.) I'm supposed to believe that from the time Elizabeth and Sarah arrived, her talk of feeling second to Sara, through all the trauma of 15-year-old Elizabeth victimized by rape and then the kiss with Lucky at the boxcar, her close friendship with Emily and then with Robin, and everything else she has been through in Port Charles over the years, she somehow just forgot to mention that she had a close friend from grade school/middle school/early high school who called her "Biz, who was her first kiss and then transitioned? Utter b.s. i hated it when Teri did the intro for Elizabeth and Franco's reception at the Haunted Star because she called Elizabeth "my oldest friend." It seemed to imply that they have been close all their lives when in fact Teri didn't meet Elizabeth's kids until Cam was 16, wasn't a part of Elizabeth's life when she was raped or fell in love with Lucky or during the previous marriages or when she became a nurse. As an Elizabeth fan, having her early youth retconned for a character because the Show stupidly killed off Emily but wants to pat itself on the back for hiring a trans actor to play a doctor who will also engage in pushy girlfriendy gossip, bugs me. (That is not an endorsement of NL's acting, by the way.) ETA: Jinks, @GHScorpiosRule!😂
  24. Jason's choice to take care of/be loyal to Carly as Michael's mother, and Sonny, above all else for the rest of his life lost him Robin. Robin knew she wouldn't have the kind of life she wanted if she decided well, I'm in love with Jason, period. THIS. Thank you! Yes and yes. I was looking forward to Paraphrase Hospital analysis regarding Nixon Fails - Lenny's gratitude toward Nina and the 'chosen family" toast. I'm pretty sure this perspective on Spencer is the writers'/Show's intention. They are continuing on with who Spencer has always been, in this recast. The actor performs the dialogue he's given, and (I'm assuming) following how he is directed in the scenes. The only changes I see are that he doesn't constantly call someone he doesn't like a "townie" and in conversations with Trina he has referenced his "dad" and mom" whereas NB's Spencer always said mother, father when mentioning them to people. So it seems like adult Spencer is just a little less formal in his speech. I am half expecting him to say something to Joss along the lines of he likes qualities in Trina and think she's beautiful but they are just not of the same pedigree so a real relationship wouldn't work. Unrelated note: I'm still really, really hoping someone shoves/pushes/knocks Carly into the pool. I would love for it to happen because Yuri is protecting Monica, or BL, or even Valentin from a perceived threat. ETA It seems like the writing is mostly to blame for problems with the characters, etc. lack of layers, mis-using or ignoring history, or adults dwelling on remembering kisses. For example, I only find the Terry character tolerable when she's talking to her (now deceased) patients and the families about diagnosis and care. Of Howarth's three characters, I've only found Austin tolerable to enjoyable so far. I feel like the BL character is much better to watch now that she shows layers of who she is, rather than the one-note immature spoiled brat when she was trying to seduce Dante, and more recently when she had her tantrums regarding ELQ that culminated with the "my father is a horrible person" attitude.
  25. Now that was a LOOOONNNNGGGG overdue Jason-Monica conversation about AJ. I was not expecting Jason to acknowledge to Monica that they were wrong for how they treated AJ. Loved that Monica flat out told Jason she's tolerated Carly all these years for his sake, and Michael's. It's also obvious how comfortable SBu and LC are with each other after all these years. Phyliis: We don't open for another hour. Me: How would anyone know the difference? Nina was Silas's wife, not his colleague - Lenny getting an appointment for surgery that fast because of her "connections" is absurd (like most of this Show). She really is being painted as the White Savior/"chosen family" to this couple. Good work by Howarth in that brief Austin-Jason exchange. LOL. Spencer was such an ass to Trina. He's so selfish and self-involved. He flat out said so what if his father and Ava are miserable. UGH. He doesn't deserve Trina. I like that she's pushing back, and walking away from him in disgust. LOL at Ava's giant hat and overall attire; she looks ready for a day on a hot, sunny beach instead of at a pool that has a roof. I still don't buy Terri as Elizabeth's best childhood friend; the friendship conversations IMO scream retcon of Elizabeth's youth esp. since Teri was never mentioned before she materialized in the hospital one day. I swear I'm going to reach into the screen if I hear "Biz" one more time - I loathe the nickname. I miss her friendships with Robin and Emily. I assume Elizabeth confesses to Jason since he's confronting her alone. Same with Finn and Anna. I am not moved by Anna's tears. I thought the silent patient in the wheelchair was going to inexplicably be Hayden, not Ryan, because Alexis looked surprised instead of scared.
