Which dozen of you guys called it first? Haha. Hahahahahahahahahaha. Sorry. I can't stop laughing about this. She went to class with him and they actually posted a picture of it to Instagram.

The Lonely Js Club: James, Jackson & Johannah

They've been walking on countertops since time immemorial. Joy was pictured in an earlier ep walking around the house barefoot with the bottoms of her feet black. It's really nothing new for them. -

It sums her up quite nicely, though: she blends into the walls ;) -
I agree that Lauren didn't come across well this episode. During dinner, when Ben asked what the "feel" of their wedding would be, she responded with a sort of sneer, "the feel?" C'mon, she knows what he meant; there was no need for that. I think she's basically the opposite of Kendra: where Kendra is down to earth and genuinely nice, Lauren is haughty and puts on airs. The tone she uses when she talks about Josiah and his traits (like playing pranks) is more of subtle disdain (have to at least appear as if she's keeping sweet, after all!) than of affection. She seems like one of those people who you'd really need a break from after spending a lot of time around them.

Kendra, though, didn't seem very happy about her ensemble and had voiced apprehension ahead of time that Joe had never done any shopping for her, so she wasn't sure how things would turn out. She remarked that she was the most dressed down of the couples, and the nicest thing she could find to say about the outfit was that it was "comfy." She was a really good sport about it, but I think she would have preferred that Joe had done better picking out things. As he said, she likes to look nice. The top and skirt didn't even match. Josiah was weird. During the restaurant scene when Jessa and Ben were talking about how Ben would retreat into his shell when upset whereas Jessa was the opposite, yadda yadda, Lauren looked interested while Josiah was totally spaced out. They cut to him twice, and both times he had a faraway look on his face, like he wasn't really listening at all. It makes me think, once again, he's just going through the motions.

You would think Jill would want to construct a proper sentence for her home school project instead of her gangsta/hip "you da best," since it's, you know, ostensibly about teaching her kids, wouldn't you? Jesus, she's so inadequate.
-
It's weird that of all the properties they own, this would be the one assigned to Josiah/Lauren, isn't it? What could be the reasoning? They know they aren't the best match, so give them as much space as possible so they don't get on each other's last nerve too quickly?

If you want to PM me your whereabouts, I can look for local TNR resources for you? Your snakes are probably nonvenomous. Do you have any photos?

Found this link over on FJ. Saves me some work ;) https://imgur.com/gallery/CtRJ1rF

If I have time tonight, I can restream the ep and grab some screen shots of the house.

The breakfast video with the kids at the table, at least, was taken before Derick started school. They talk about it being his "last day of freedom," or some such.

For those interested, Pickles was able to find the property records for the Swanson house in Springdale. Apparently they own it, not JB, and it was purchased last December. There is a link on her page that includes addresses, etc.

I know; I was like WTF is this? I mean, if he's eating, he's eating. Wouldn't a normal person wait for their kid to finish eating before making him laugh and asking him to bark like a dog, etc.? You'd think laughing while chewing/swallowing would be a choking hazard, but hey, she learned from her momma, who fed her kids while they were lying flat on their backs! She literally has zero natural parenting instincts aka common sense.

I meant to post about this, but then I fell asleep. Ha! (TM Jessa) This family just strikes me as so dysfunctional. Jill's videos are so forced, rather than organically capturing family moments as they happen. Israel gets questioned in the first part of the video, then says "bye" (indicating he's done) and retreats to the next room and hides *under a desk*, and Jill, our next MOTY, follows him and zooms in on his safe spot so she can pepper him with even more questions. She continues badgering him until he gets them right, and once again, he says "bye." Clearly he doesn't want to be on camera. It's like Jill expects him to perform for the cameras, which is the opposite of Jessa's videos, which seem spontaneous and natural, and where her kids are at ease. Ironic, considering that #besthubbyever got them kicked off the show, and Jessa is the one actually still filming, eh? Even the way they sit at the dining table is weird to me. They have it pushed up against the wall, which I understand might be for space conservation purposes. But it segregates them in an odd way. They choose to put the kids on the far ends so the adults can sit next to each other in the middle. Wouldn't it make more sense to seat the kids in the middle so each adult can more easily tend to both of them if needed? Also, wouldn't it just be an instinctive thing to do to have your children nestled in between you as parents? Imagine walking on the street or traveling on public transportation. Most parents, I'm sure, would put their kids between them as a protective measure. These dimwits would probably stand/sit together and have their kids on the outskirts. I'm sure this is one of their ass-backwards Gothard/cult "marriage relationship" first things, but it's kind of fucked up.

@Marigold, are these feral cats? Sounds like it. I saw a reference to the ASPCA--are you in the NYC area? There are resources here for getting ferals neutered. If not, there are likely groups in your area too, if you want to let us know your general location. Young kittens can be socialized. I've had quite a few cats with cancer and on chemo. Let me know if you need any help or support, including with your other girl.

Good God, even their fruit comes out of a can:

Right? "Society will tell you" all of that? I was like, what society does she live in? She's got it backwards. Btw, she's got the videos pinned so it will be available to watch anytime. In any case, the videos are gold, and she does look like she's snapped. It's like her version of Michelle's laundry room breakdown.

I couldn't find it either, but the folks on FJ can be useful sometimes ;) https://www.pinterest.com/laurensmilagro1/

Jaxon makes me cringe, but it seems they plan on using "Jax" as a nickname, which is pretty cool :) She also finally has a new tank top! Praise be!

Maybe that's where he got it, then. I'm going by what a Norwegian said was correct spelling/usage.
-
For all his book reading and intellectualism, I guess he missed that it's actually "og mitt liv." How embarrassing. And now his mistake has been captured and framed that it may serve as a daily reminder for life of his own fallibility and need for humility.

They do both constantly (ignore Israel when he asks questions and write like dumbasses).
