I HATE when people try to avoid well deserved criticism by labeling it "bullying" or "threats". I have seen a ton of negative comments on Elizabeth and Missy's twitter feeds, but I haven't seen any "cyberbullying" or threats. Of course, threats of violence have no place in a civilized society and nobody should be making them and anyone who does should face consequences. But, it seems like the new game is to take non-existent threats or a one or two random idiots making threats and lump all the valid criticism with them.

Wow! Varner is showing that he learned nothing from his outrageous behavior on Game Changers. He blames "editing" and defends Feely Dan?
-
I tend to doubt it. She probably signed away most of her rights in the waiver. Plus, it seems as though production may have given here the option of having Dan kicked out, but she declined. Also, she was ready to stay allied with Dan and vote out Missy, because she was a bigger threat. That would not look good in any lawsuit she filed. Dan suing would be foolish, IMO. He couldn't win and it would only bring more attention to his behavior. Plus, I'd imagine there is a lot more Feely Dan footage that we did not see, that could be used at trial and made public. His best bet is to law low and hope this blows over.

What behavior occurred after the warning? The only thing I saw was him touching Noura at TC in his pathetic demonstration of having to touch someone to get through a crowd or whatever nonsense he spewed. I guess that could be considered another incident, but Noura didn't complain at the time (not that I would have expected her to, since it was in the middle of TC and she was probably caught off guard). As for the Fan Favorite, am I the only one who suspects they brought it back as a damage control move after the nastiness? At any rate, I certainly hope and expect that Janet will win it. Between that, and hopefully some Sia money, it might turn out that courage and integrity pays.

It definitely beats some of the vulgar terms used to describe women. But, I still find it sort of mildly demeaning. It feels like belittling women and treating like them something slightly lower than men. YMMV.
-
Robert definitely feels like a caricature of a guy from Brooklyn in the 1990s. To, "shorty" is sort of a dismissive way to refer to women. You definitely wouldn't tell your boss, "We have 2 men and 3 shorties coming in to interview for the Marketing Director position today."
-
Yup, Robert was taking her to shop for the clothes poor people didn't want anymore. 😁
-
Yes, in a different way, though. With a man, it would be making fun of his height. When a man calls women "shorties" I take is as him thinking of them like objects. "Broads" or "skirts" would seem like the closest old fashioned equivalents.

I don't think she was insisting on moving to Miami. It was more like she said she might like to move there in the future. I can't really tell how greedy and materialistic NAnny is. If Robert was treating her with a little respect and getting her some decent things, and she acted this way, I'd say she was a greedy gold digger. But, Robert is treating her like something he pulled out of the bargain bin at the thrift store, so I don't fault her for her reaction. Robert is clearly a scumbag, the jury is out on NAnny, in my book.

I am thinking the same thing. Holding off Kellee and Jamal's exit press for a week fits in with the rumor that Dan will be ejected or voted out, this week. Delaying their interviews will: a) Allow Kellee and Jamal to speak much more freely about the situation, without risk of spoilers. b) Make the show come off a lot better in those interviews. Rather than them pretending the groper lowlife is still in the game, the talk will probably be more about how it took a while ,but justice finally prevailed, blah, blah blah.

But, production did take action. They investigated, met individually with each participant to remind them about inappropriate touching and gave Dan a formal warning for his behavior. I'm not sure things would have gone much differently in a typical workplace, and Survivor is far from a typical workplace The ethics and standards of Survivor are totally different than in a real world workplace. Practically every castaway in the history of the game would get fired if they did what they did on Survivor at their job. Seeing how the group reacts to various types of objectionable behavior is an important element of the show. The tribe members, as a group, are given authority to police behavior through TC votes. Watching them toss aside all moral standards to try to advance in the game, is often disheartening and disgusting, but it is also informative.

I guess its not my call, but I find it demeaning to women.

Anny might not be that bright and she might be demanding even if Robert was treating her well. But, we have no way of knowing this, because he has treated her like a thirft store bargain and shown her zero respect. Calling her "shorty" is a symptom of this. Robert is a broke, cheap, pig, with 5 kids by 4 women, who verbally abuses his son and "shorty".

Condoms don't grow on trees.
-
I would have had even more respect for Anny if she had thrown that wine in his face. She needs some mentoring from Jenniffer.
-
IMO, I'm going to take care of you because you're my lady shorty implies a level of care much higher than Robert is providing. She didn't seem to even complain about the the one bedroom apartment, and not having their own bed, and seems to love Bryson. Taking her to buy us-ed clothes was insulting, IMO. So was telling her they are going to serve Kraft Mac & Cheese at their wedding (OK, I'm exaggerating). He could at least say, "Listen, baby shorty, I would love to be able to give you an iPhone, a nice wedding and clothes that aren't pre-worn, but money is tight right now." Instead, he treats her like she is a greedy bitch for making a few fairly reasonable requests. I think I heard tree farm.

As odd as it seems, I think it is fairly common for people who don't speak the native language to teach English. I have no idea how this works.
-
Perhaps, but by taking Sasha to the US, she is pretty much ending any chance of his first 2 boys having their father in their lives. She should stay in Russia with him, Actually, she never should have gotten involved with and knocked up by his deadbeat ass, but it is too late for that.
-
I suspect that Anny was blowing up his phone with angry emojis because Robert promised to send her money but lied. She has repeatedly said that he promised her an iPhone. I think Robert lured her to Florida promising much more than he is willing or able to give. She seems OK with being Bryson's nanny (more like mother actually) and Robert's sex doll, if he treated her and provided for her decently. He has done neither.
-
Plus, she was so good at finding them, she might have found it again after they re-hid it. Rob and Sandra's next IOTI lesson should be about what to do when you have 2 idols. There are only 2 options. a) Play an idol at the next TC. b) Play both idols at the next TC.

I think my loathe list so far is: 1) Anna - Ready to abandon her boys for an odd, little, cowardly man 2) Mursel - The odd, little, cowardly man who wants Anna to abandon her boys 3) Sasha - Abandoning 2 boys, working on his 3rd. 4) Robert - Lousy father and a total jerk to Anny, and annoying babytalk accent. 5) Tania - Narcissist, who can't wait to have children she will probably abuse or neglect. 6) Emily - She is basically a female Mursel, taking a parent from his kids. 7) Michael - A bit creepy, but has treated everyone OK so far. 😎 Anny - Was very nice to Bryson and doesn't seem to have unreasonable expectations. 9) Mike - Seems OK, except for keeping the secret about his debts. 10) Natalie - Haven't seen enough to dislike her yet, she has potential to move way up if she is a scammer. 11) Syngin - A bit dopey, lazy and unfocused, but seems harmless enough. 12) Juliana - Seems sweet. Might be a gold digger, but she is a decent and friendly one.
-
They should have a tell all with just the kids this season.

I agree with most of this. But, I still can't fault production for giving Kellee agency to decide how far she wanted them to go with Dan. Kellee was on the verge of voting Missy out and keeping Dan before Jamal and Janet turned against Dan. It was kind of a tough call, but I think I prefer Kellee being able to decide if the situation was so bad and ongoing that it was worth hurting her game over, or if she felt that with Janet around, she could avoid Dan's touching and keep him around as a number for a vote or two. Damn, I wish Kellee had played one of her damned idols and sent the slimeball home! I rewatched the first half this morning and it was even more obvious to me that she had no reason to feel safe. The reason she went searching for the 2nd idol was that she thought Dan felt way too comfortable which made her suspect she was being double crossed.
-
What, exactly does Anny have to be grateful for? Robert made her all kinds of promises and then brings her home to live in his 1 bedroom (and 1 bed) apartment, to be his sex toy and nanny to his bratty kid (Robert's fault, not Bryson's) and then he takes her to buy us-ed clothes and insults her left and right.

In this sort of case, whether something is a sex crime or civil tort or nothing at all, is largely based upon the perception of the person being touched. Without a victim complaining it would generally be nearly impossible determine whether or not a law was violated. A complaint, plus the video footage would make a very strong case. But, without a complaint, there is no context for the footage. Assault is generally much more obvious, on sight than this sort of sexual misconduct. If you walk up to me punch me in my nose, without provocation and then kick me in the groin 6 times, that is pretty obviously assault, and it would take quite a story from me to explain how it wasn't.
