The other day I was talking to some friends, who are casual Arrow viewers - meaning, they record the show and watch when they can, don't follow news about the show, don't care about spoilers, and don't care who Oliver is romancing or not. However, even they noticed the significant change in Oliver & Felicity's relationship this season. One friend found it "jarring" how the show reset the relationship without any explanation. Another friend found it "odd" that Oliver & Felicity now act like they were never engaged.

Unsurprisingly, ComicBook.com reported on SA's recent HVFF-Atlanta comments as follows (I didn't quote SA's comments because they've been discussed at length in the Social Media thread)... Chris Hayner, who wrote that ScreenerTV article, lost me with this sentence:

So I'm guessing that the world will now know that Sara Lance is alive and fighting as White Canary? It was never clear on Arrow whether or not Star City believed/believes Sara was/is dead. Also, I haven't been keeping up on Supergirl. Does everyone now know that Kara is Supergirl, or is it still a big secret and no one recognizes her as Supergirl?

That new promo does make me want to watch the crossover eps - but the 508 promo pics still depress my excitement about Arrow's 100th episode because it seems focused on elements of the show that I never liked and that I wouldn't have stuck around 99 episodes of Arrow to watch if they had remained. I think the 100th episode should've included more of what contributed significantly to Arrow's success, enough so to allow it to reach 100 episodes - and that's OTA and Olicity (imo). And yet the 508 promo pics don't show a single scene with either of those things. However, I'll watch all of the crossover episodes live and just grit my teeth through the hour of Arrow. ETA: I really can't stand listening to SA's facebook chats anymore. Fortunately, contrary to what he believes, I am able to separate the real life actor from the fictional character he plays. So I still like Oliver Queen (despite his deep flaws), while I no longer like SA. ETA2: https://twitter.com/JulianaHarkavy/status/801711232717766658 I wonder if one of the inevitable season-ending 'shockers' will be that Tina is a metahuman. She is from Central City.

However, there are these spoilers (of course, what these guys said isn't what we're seeing so far):

GB was a speaker at the Scripted Summit on Nov. 18 in NYC - no reports or video found, but here's a pic... https://twitter.com/kerrylaifatt/status/799726579773480964

I used TVLine to see the 509 promo pics, because I sometimes have problems with SpoilerTV... See "Claybourne Pharmaceuticals" sign in 509 promo pic above. According to Arrowverse Wiki, one of the names that appeared on the list in Oliver's father's book was "Justin Claybourne," although he never appeared on the show. I have no idea what their source is for this info. But assuming it's true, it could just be a coincidence in names - or not. http://arrow.wikia.com/wiki/The_List Also, in this 509 promo pic, it looks like it's S1 Oliver (no mask, see sleeves) in some kind of lab with a dead guy on the floor:

I'm dropping out of this conversation before I post something I regret. I'm just very angry at SA right now - perhaps exacerbated by increased sensitivity caused by real life events.

See quotes above. I guess we can agree to disagree. If I had a twitter account, I would tweet the following: "Congrats @stephenamell for making Olicity fans feel unwelcome @heroesfanfest (sarcasm) #HVFF-Atlanta #BullyForYou."

SA at HVFF-Atlanta on Nov. 20: SA on facebook on Nov. 21: The fan at HVFF-Atlanta asked a very specific question. SA's answer made no sense ("it's a TV show"), but he could've stopped there. Instead, he went off on this rant that misrepresented Olicity shippers as wanting Arrow to become about only one thing. (The fan never said that.) He was really condescending and dismissive. And the audience response just seemed to amp him up. At one point, I expected SA to say "Felicity" and have the crowd chant, "Lock her up!" I don't think that SA's comments in his facebook video helped. He was still condescending. (FYI, I think I can wrap my brain around plenty.) And again, he ascribed motives to Olicity fans and described them in unflattering terms (threw shade and implied that they felt entitled). He considers Olicity fans as being only interested in one thing and nothing else on the show. He doesn't seem to think that people can watch the show for more than one reason - Oliver and action and romance and escape and other things. So he thinks that if you like Olicity, you're only watching Arrow for that one thing. (That's what I get from his comments.) I watched the video of his panel at HVFF-Atlanta and I thought he was belittling that fan. Now he's just spinning. I also find his dismay over the "infighting" a bit disingenuous, considering that he and the EPs (especially MG) have certainly done their part to stir up controversy and antagonize fans over the years. Honestly, the more I listen to SA talk in interviews and at comic cons, the less I like him. All his comments about loving all the fans? Spin, spin, spin.

From a September 2, 2016 podcast interview with Jeane Wong where she talks about her Arrow duties: http://www.stitcher.com/podcast/wine-and-comics/e/065-crisis-on-infinite-earths-part-one-46136823 -- On what a script coordinator does, JW: "You're in charge of script distribution, you read and proofread the scripts before they go out, and you track them for continuity."

Portion of Arrow panel with Amy Gumenick, Bex Taylor Klaus, Echo Kellum and Neal McDonough at HVFF-Atlanta on Nov. 20 (video posted by venusnep55)... -- On whether Darhk accepts his fate or wants to change it, when Sara told him his fate on LoT, NM: -- EK confirmed that he's 6'5" and taller than DR and SA. He said that PB is also 6'6" but EK's hair makes him taller than PB. -- BTK got a Scream question but she very nicely said that, since she's on an Arrow panel, she preferred to answer as many questions about Arrow as possible. She did say that there was more secrecy on Scream than on Arrow. -- EK said that he attempted the salmon ladder and can do about two rungs, but thinks he'll be able to do the ladder by Season 8. -- On his Mr. Terrific costume, EK: -- On whether we'll see Cupid again, AG said that she hoped so but, like BTK said, they (Arrow) keep you in the dark until the last minute. Last time, she didn't know what version of Cupid was going to show up until she got to the table read. So "fingers crossed", she'll return because AG thinks that Cupid still has "more trouble to stir up." -- EK said that it takes 3 hours in real life to braid his hair for his Mr. Terrific look. -- EK said that everyone on Arrow is genuinely nice and "inquisitive" about your life and that they have a lot of fun on set. NM said that Arrow's such a success because it starts with SA, who's "such a great guy and a leader" and then it trickles down: "Let's all have fun and let's be cool and professional."
