Maybe when Malcolm breaks Darhk out of prison in 418, it'll be a mass prison break (like in the Batman movies) and most of the prisoners will escape.

Good news - Star City does indeed have a living D.A.... In the scene where Quentin goes to Laurel's ADA office, Laurel says: "Dad, I went to my boss, and I asked him to give you immunity from prosecution. He said he'd prefer to be reelected." So apparently the current D.A. is male and a guy who's more concerned about staying in office than justice. Presumably he's also more concerned with staying safe than in justice - which is likely why Laurel is spearheading the Darhk prosecution and the D.A. is nowhere to be seen.

That's pretty low. I guess the BMD is proving to be a bad decision. ETA: To clarify, I don't think that's the only reason, but maybe a contributing factor to the extent of the drop.

Guys... you totally don't understand the Arrow EPs' logic! (sarcasm) Why Laurel had to be told to use Felicity, Thea and Diggle as witnesses - Because Laurel wasn't present at that holiday party (and therefore that event did not happen in Laurel World). Why Oliver was wearing kevlar but Felicity was not - Because there's no way to design a wedding dress that will look good with kevlar underlining. Why Oliver still did not apologize to Felicity - Because "Oliver had no choice but to agree to Samantha's terms in order to see protect his son" (now the writers' mantra!). Why Diggle supported Oliver - Because their Doliver bromance is the real OTP of the show. Seriously, this episode was painful to watch. The reason that Felicity was making those little snippy remarks is that she STILL hasn't had the opportunity to talk the whole thing out with anyone - not with Oliver, not with Diggle, not with her mother, no one. Yet Oliver has been able to talk to and get support from everyone on the team. So Felicity's emotions, including understandable anger and hurt, have been repressed - due to having to help the team deal with various crises - and come out in little outbursts.

I agree that the next episode will play up Oliver and Laurel moments. From the 417 extended promo, Oliver gets stung/infected by the bees because he jumps in front of Laurel to protect her. Then Laurel will use the Canary Cry to save Oliver. Yes, it does seem cruel if Laurel is the one dying in 418 (still saying "if" to hedge my bets.) They'll probably also drop Quentin death anvils in 418 before the actual death. I wonder if the super-contrived Olicity break-up was done partly in response to the EPs' decision to kill off Laurel (if that is what happens)? You know, so they can say they aren't playing favorites but are an equal opportunity buzz-killer, so to speak. They take away Laurel/BC, but they also take away Olicity.
