  1. I always assumed it had something to do with Denise *insertlastname*, the LSU tiger girls choreographer (?) who goes by Neecie Noodle on social media.. like her doing a class or something like that...
  2. Kind of mean, I know, but Jerry Jones reminded me so much of Hugh Heffner, I was actually a little surprised when he walked in and it took a minute to realize it was actually Jerry Jones. I am so over Brianna. She doesn't have the style and that's it. I don't need to see more of her. Come back in a year or two. Erin is struggling and watching her stumble and stumble and stumble is painful. Love Lauren, how can you not like her? I love seeing girls from other teams, especially Lexie this year. She has had an amazing time with the mavs, has tons of fans and is putting herself out there to try out something new where she might fail. Same with all the other girls from other teams, somehow you have to admire them... I was not a fan of Tasha at first, but I beginning to really like her. She comes across as polished, humble, kind and genuine to me now. Before I thought she came across as plastic and kind of calculating. Funny what a difference a season can make in the way you see some of these girls! I like Cassie. She will always be someone who is discussed a lot and that's fine. I did like the idea of the alumni segment a lot, but somehow I didn't like the actual segments that much. Definitely agree with whoever said it came across like 'you can't sit with us'. Now that I think about it... it's kind of sad that the only time the vets get any real screen time is if they have gained weight. Seeing the rookies from the year before develop into vets is almost as interesting as seeing new rookie candidates come in.

I'm not really into lyrical routines, so I'm not good at judging them, but Katelynn's routine doesn't seem too bad. Personally, I think it is kind of boring, but that's just my taste. She does have technique though
  4. Kalyssa with really blonde hair kind of reminds me of Sasha Pieterse in that picture...

I don't get what's wrong with Lacey's body? I know opinions differ a lot about appearance, but I definitely did not see her as masculine. I would have loved to see her inn training camp, she is one of my favorites this year... I also don't understand why Katelynn didn't make it. Kalyssa sure got a lot of screen time again. She is pretty and can dance, but I would have liked to see more of the other girls during tryouts than so much of her. I feel like she is all about promoting herself and it'll be interesting to see what she's like in training camp or if she really is a team player if she makes the squad. She definitely likes getting a lot of attention. Gina was one of my favorites before the show started, now I'm not so sure. She is a great dancer, but I feel like she also kind of has this vibe like she's trying to get some spotlight by being a DCC to further her career. But it would be really unfair to judge her based on the 5 minutes of screen time she got, so I'll wait... I wasn't a fan of Alexandria, but after this episode I do like her more, she did seem genuine and definitely everything they look for in a DCC. I still don't understand the Heather cut. Sure, her mistake in the kick line was bad, but she seemed to recover and she seemed to have proven that she deserved to be on the team during the season, so it seems harsh to cut her. But who knows what really made them cut her, maybe there were more mistakes. Raylee got outdanced. I can understand that. she never stood out enough to me the year she made it and I don't think she changed much, but she did seem to become more glamorous and all over time, maybe just not fast enough. Allie did not look great, she had it tough to begin with with her bodytype. Tasha probably made it back because of her overall look. Say what you want about her, but she is stunning. Poor Dayton did not have the best final audition. But she has all the qualities to come back stronger next year. I don't get the Brianna love, she would not have been my choice. Her kicks are bad, especially for someone who wanted to be a Rockette. She needs a makeover and she doesn't show much personality. And I'm not going to give her a pass for her young age, as other girls audition at 18 and bring more of everything to the table, in my opinion. Holly is a pro and handled her malfunction really well. She came across as really mature. I loved what we could see of Cerstens solo! It looked like so much fun!
  6. Kalyssa does have a job though (or at least she did around when training camp started), so it's not like she does nothing besides being a cheerleader. I get that it kind of seems weird to be dedicated or smart or whatever enough to be valedictorian and then not go to college, but she does have time and at least she won't regret not following her dream when she had the chance.
  7. Seems like an unpopular opinion, but I did not like Alexandria. Don't really know why though. She seems ablittle... entitled, maybe. love Lacey. Kalyssa needs to stop the ta ta shaking or I'm gonna stop liking her. How did Briana make it to finals with those kicks and that can't be bothered attitude? lastly, I was really rooting for Witney. I really like her and felt really bad for her last year.
  8. Reading all the Holly/Jenna speculations is actually so much more fun than anything else going on with training camp this year :D just goes to show how bored everyone is with no spoilers. It would actually be really funny if Holly was still on the team and everyone got really worked up about nothing. I can so imagine Shelly and K+J sitting at the star laughing about all the speculations and knowing Holly was at home with her sick mother or something. That would be a real plot twist lol. Anyway, I hope the team gets announced soon and I really hope I can find some connection to the new Rookies soon. I miss rooting for someone... this is the first year I was like oh wait, the first episode is online. I might as well watch it now, I have an hour anyway. Usually I get really excited a couple of days before and can't wait to watch it.
  9. I'm really rooting for Gina, Celinda and Lexie... count me in on being bored with training camp right now lol. No news or spoilers make me so much less invested. I know that this is how it is supposed to be before a show starts, but it's so sad. You pretty much follow those girls all year and then nothing new all summer.
  10. She probably told everyone 'important' before people posted about it... I'm hoping people asked her if it was alright to post it though, it is her big news and she should decide when to share it with the world of social media, not everyone necessarily wants the whole world to know.
  11. I kind of like it... on my phone it's easier to distinguish quotes from responses and all that.... but yeah.. it's kind of ugly.
  12. I actually really like Nadia and was rooting for her, I thought she was cute... not a fan of her 'modeling' pics though
  13. I love gossip and rumors, especially when I'm bored, but I would be more into this one if I actually understood what Madie92 was trying to tell us.. I feel stupid, I still don't get what the story is supposed to be here and who let what out or who is who ?Apparently Holly is not the story though, so I'm kind of bored with the badly written rumors. I can't wait for the squad to be announced or the show to start, so many new faces in training camp!
  14. It's probably easier to eat healthy once you quit and have 'normal' eating habits, all those long days and nights plus a job, you probably grab too many snacks and unhealthy stuff just to not be hungry. And you have more time to cook and watch what you're eating...
  15. I wasn't much of a Kelsey fan before last season, i felt like she was too much of a party girl or not hard enough working or something, but she really won me over. I'm really rooting for her now and I love how she kept working hard and improving. I think she deserved a spot on the team and I hope she makes it back. And that's also why I love MTT, we get a much better picture of the girls than from social media alone.
  16. I don't reall know all the DMD girls, I only follow a few I really like, but I am kind of shocked so many of them are auditioning/leaving...
  17. I'm superb excited about Emily and Ansley, I really like both of them and hope they make it! I hate and love how nerdy DCC auditions make me! I spent all weekend checking instagram and this board (really feel like I have no life!) and Tomorrow I'll get up super early so I have time to check who made it to finals before having to go to work... seriously hate the time difference. How weird is it that we all get so excited about these girls we mostly don't even know?
  18. I don't think Caila will audition for the DCC again, maybe some other team this year, but I don't think she could make the DCC again. I think she is beautiful and has a great body, but I think she hasn't changed since she got cut. She is definitly not fat and she has grown into her body and looks great the way she is, but we all know what they expect from girls who try out again after getting cut and Caila just hasn't improved her body or her dancing enough to really stand a chance I believe. I don't watch a lot of her dancing, but maybe she could try out for the DMD instead if she wants to return to a pro team, I don't know if she does though, she seems quite happy...
  19. I hope it's Erica, I'm so over Jenna. I was unsure about her when she made the squad, because she looked so so young, but then she really grew on me and became one of my favorites. Now she kind of annoys me and I was sort of happy she was retiring. She comes across as too much 'look at me, I'm so cute'. I'm sure she is a great person and she seems liked by almost everyone, but I don't want her in my face all the time.
  20. I agree, she is really talented at what she does, she has a really aggressive style though which is not really DCC style a lot of the time, but much more suited to NBA style. I really like watching her dance most of the time (sometimes I do feel like it's a little over the top though). Just curious though, where is the information from that she wants to try out for the GSW? I have been off social media for a while, I kind of needed a break lol, so I missed a lot!
  21. Up until now I dont really like her for some reason, I can't put my finger on it though... I dont find her all that pretty (but that's just may taste, she's definitely not ugly!) and I don't really like her style of dancing and I really don't like how she seems to feel like a shoe in for the DCC. She posts a lot of pictures with current DCC or mentiones them in posts and stuff like that and she posts so much about when she will be a DCC... I don't know, I just don't like her, she seems really full of herself or arrogant or something (to me! I respect that most people don't feel that way). BUT if she does audition and make the team, I might change my opinion, I really don't know that much about her.
  22. How can she help choreograph for the Ice Angels if she makes their team?
  23. I love Gilmore Girls! I'm actually watching the whole series on dvd at the moment for like the 10th time. But I usually hate it when they try to bring shows back years later, so I'm gonna be really sceptical for now lol.
  24. I don't care how great a dancer Yuko is, if she needs all sorts of special help she shouldn't be there. I have no idea what the Visa situation with her is, so I don't want to judge her on it, but missing camp to go back to Japan? No one else gets that much encouragement from K+J. What about girls who need to lose weight or something. Do they get an extra week to work on it? No. Do people who have full time jobs get to be there a couple of minutes later than others if their work schedule is crazy? No. There is no time off from training camp, that's the way it has always been. And there are plenty of other great dancers out there so if she can't complete all of training camp she shouldn't be there. Also, and this may sound mean, I really hate it when someone can't speak the language properly. I don't expect someone to be able to speak perfectly, but I find it really annoying when someone has a hard time saying one sentence without thinking about it or making a ton of mistakes. There are so many shows on TV about people leaving everything behind and moving to a foreign country not being able to speak that language and it always bugs me. If I want a job somewhere in a country with a different language I learn it before moving. And I really hope her translator doesn't sit there during practice translating everything for her... That would be akward. Before the show I had no Idea what cankles were, what clunky meant or willowy or any of the dance moves for that matter, but I would have made sure to understand everything I can from watching the show a million times. I actually have nothing against Yuko and if I were in her place I wouldn't have left TC or anything. I just don't like how she seems to be getting all this special treatment (in my eyes at least). And personally I wouldn't want all that special treatment so I could be the token girl from country X. So for her sake I hope that's not the case. i wonder if maybe they kept her to give her some extra time, see if she could keep up or catch up after missing all that time. If they decided to cut her now they would still have a squad of 36 like they probably intended to in the first place. That would be heartbreaking of course, but it wouldn't be the first time someone was let go during the season. Oh and I'm really really sad about Amy. She, Emily and Madeline were the three people I was really rooting for this year. I love Amy, she just seems so genuine to me. I never really cared for Kyndall last year... Don't really know why.... I feel sorry for her, but I'm not going to miss her I guess. Can't wait to see them all in uniform!
  25. Here in Germany pretty much everyone (except small jobs that aren't full time) gets hired with a six month probation period. And most employers also only give you a contract for a year at first and if you prove yourself afterwards you get your unlimited contract. Max company hires everyone for two years including six months probation before giving you an unlimited contract. So you spend a long time not knowing whether your job is safe. But I still feel like it's less stressful than training camp. In TC they hire more people than they need, so you know not everyone is gonna get a job, in 'work world' you have an opening, you hire one person for it and if they do well enough you keep them. I'd feel much more relaxed doing six months 'training camp' at my work place than six weeks with Kelli and Judy I guess.
