I think Sam definetly is pretty enough to be a DCC, but since she shows no ambition to actually be one it’s actually kind of funny how her name comes up all the time.. I love Maddie and I think she’s fine at point. I probably would have picked Gina, she has more of a wow factor while dancing, but I think they believe both Amy and Maddie are solid, dependable vets with great attitudes, making them good leaders... I’m surprised Lisa didn’t get more stickers. She seems to be a great dancer, I love her power. Personality wise she kind of rubs me the wrong way, kind of full of herself. Maybe that’s totally not true, maybe she didn’t spend a lot of time trying to bond during tc which is why the group leaders didn’t pick her. Maybe she sees DCC as a way to do what she loves instead of seeing a sisterhood and her future bridesmaids. She kind of reminds me of Gina her first year. By now Gina seems to have become more likable... or at least better at faking it, who knows. I’m happy Meredith finally looked good in one dance during the last episode. At least it’s paying off giving her chance after chance. I feel like Kelly pretty much chooses her squad at auditions. If she sees you and loves you, you have pretty much made it, she’s going to give you every possible chance.

I’m so happy they fixed Gina’s haircolour, it looks much better now. looking at all those game day pics, Rachel W. really cant seem to get a bad picture, hers always look great. But somehow most of the time they look kind of posed... like she isn’t actually dancing with a lot of power. Kind of like how she always comes across as kind of.. I don’t know... sleepy or something. Kind of reminds me or Kaitlyn LaRae, when Kelly had her audition picture and said something about not looking fierce in her whole body...

Keyra annoyed me more after being cut than she did while being on the squad, i had to unfollow her on Instagram... its like she’s tying waaaay too hard to be this super perky, inspirational motivation. She seems to like herself a lot, it’s all so over the top. Jasmine probably realized there were better ways of making a name for yourself than being a DCC. Considering how much of a party girl she became afterwards anyway... i really liked Chelsea when I first watched that season, I was really sad when she got cut. Now I have no idea why I fell for her crap anymore. Sometimes realizing you have grown up since something is a nice thing

Honestly, I’m happy for Victoria. I was totally against her making the team lasy year for obvious reasons, but she doesn’t look bad this year. I’m still mad about the comments about chandlers gummy smile a couple of years ago, but I don’t mind Victoria’s teeth, she’s still pretty in her own way. She waited 18 years to finally be able to try out last year and I can only imagine how hurt she must have been to (rightly) not make it, but this year she is at least a rookie candidate who dances big and bold and who’s fun to watch. I can’t really say that about a lot of the other candidates..(not seeing a lot of her on the show probably helps me like her more though). now Kristen... at this point I’m actually amazed she made it. I loved her last year and I was so rooting for her this year. Didn’t she get cut for not wowing? Well she doesn’t seem to be wowing any choreographers yet this year either, plus she tends to look a little thick. I really hope she starts showing some wow sometime soon and doesn’t just make the team because she knows sign language... I think Lily should be a little better as well considering how late she got cut last year, she knows some of the dances, she knows what to expect...

I live in a soccer country and I absolutely love the sport. There is only one soccer team here that has cheerleaders and most people think they don’t belong in the sport. But every time a team uses thunderstruck music while warming up I really really miss the DCC... I’d definetly love to go to a Cowboys home game once in my life and I’d only be going for the cheerleaders lol. The only reason I sometimes go to basketball games is to watch the cheerleaders... but I know that I’m totally in the minority and for most people it’s the sport or a least the overall entertainment of game day that counts. Back on topic, i feel so disconnected from this season. It always takes me a couple of days before i get to watch the new episodes and I feel like i don’t even know all the TCCs yet. I literally had no idea who Taylor was. It’s like i only really know Meredith and Kat (who doesn’t really seem to be taking anything seriously, but that’s probably an act)

She’s not married to the guy from say yes to the dress anymore, I don’t think that lasted very long. She did just get married again though i think.

Yay for DMD Ashley and Kristen making training camp! I hope they make it. Kristen is going to have to work really hard though. I’m hoping Ashley will look great in the uniform, I always think she looks like a big girl.. not weight wise, she has an amazing figure, just big boned in general or something... but she has so much power, I love watching her. Sad about Gabby, she seemed really sweet and being he only vet cut must be difficult. Obviously VK was going to make training camp again so there’s no point in being annoyed. Please just let her find some maturity and poise...and a hairbrush... I’m probably the only one, but I’m sad Malena didn’t make training camp. If she didn’t bring her a game to finals that’s fair though. Also really annoyed Lacey didn’t make it, she’s one I just don’t understand, I think she’d be great. For some reason I’m not sold on Meredith, I can’t say why, but something about her just doesn’t say DCC for me. i hardly know any of the new training camp candidates, so I’m really hoping the show will focus on a lot of them, I already felt like I hardly knew anyone on last years squad and I don’t need more girls i keep forgetting

Okay, so i totally hate the responsibility of having a credit card, but I finally got one pretty much just so i can buy all season of the show on amazon. I’m not even sure they’ll work since I don’t live in the US, but it was worth a shot. And now it doesn’t work because my credit card is not from an American bank. Seriously, trying to watch this show is exhausting 😅

My guess is Heather will get point and surprise us all with some new found extra sparkle. Right now I’d like Gina as point. For me she is the most interesting dancer on the field... I don’t care much for her otherwise although I do try to look at her without thinking of her office visits her first year. And unpopular opinion: I am happy Malena tried out again. I think she would be a great DCC if she could keep her nerves in check, which I’m not sure she can do.. but even after her big melt down, I really like her and I’m rooting for her. I also seriously have to go back and rewatch last season (once I find the strength to go through all the VK madness once more), because I am totally blanking on Lilly. I only remember her cut, but nothing else about how she could dance or anything... same goes for Taylor really...

Last year Yuko was my wow person for having great pictures and finally wowing me and making me look at her, this year it’s Heather! I always think she’s kind of plain, but wow her pictures this year look amazing!

Spending that much money on a solo before I’ve even made it to finals... evil me is really hoping to see VK cut at prelims for weight. I know she won’t be, but a girl can dream. I know that if you want to get someone to choreograph your solo you need to find someone really early on, but it really does amaze me how much money some of the girls trying out probably spend.

I’ve been following her for a couple of years and she has tried out for I think every major squad in Dallas. She does seem to be able to dance (I have no dance background) and I admire her for her courage. A few years ago I think she wanted to stop auditioning since she’s never made it, but came back after a break. I’m rooting for her every year, I like that she never gives up and still chases her dream even though it never seems to work out and she still seems to love doing it. Personally, I feel like she gets overlooked, like she’s not one of those dances with a wow factor and with so many girls auditioning she just fades into the background and gets forgotten...

Honestly, i don’t feel like I’d really notice if some of the current two year vets didn’t try out again. I still don’t feel like I really know them. Some yes, others I’m usually like oh yeah, i forgot all about her. And I guess it’ll feel the same next year. MTT really is kind of my only source of getting to know the girls, I don’t spend much time learning about them or getting to know them on social media. And lately I don’t feel like MTT has really been much help in that area.

I’m probably in the minority, but I preferred Maddie’s hair straight, especially compared to this years hair, last year it looked fine. So I’d like to see her with straight hair, but i know those curls are kind of her image and I doubt she’d be allowed to change that. I actually hope Malena comes back. I like her dancing and if she could get her nerves or memory together she could be amazing. Maybe seeing how close she was will help her confidence.

I loved Carla, she was super cute. She struggled, but she might have been able to get it together, if it’s new for you, it might need some time or it might never happen, you just have to try. I do think it’s easy to kind of get overlooked at auditions though. Really great girls might not make it to finals simply because they didn’t stand out, smile enough, have good moves or leave an impression or they’re simply having a bad day. I don’t know what happened during Robins first audition, maybe she was good, just not great and needed a year to work on some stuff, maybe she got overlooked, who knows. At the end of the day it should come down to that one day. In theory a vet who has a bad day will be let go in favor or a candidate who has a great day. That may not always be the case, we’ve seen the judges talk about the value someone brings to the team, but it doesn’t surprise me some TCC candidates make it to camp over some vets. Sure, Carla dug her own grave (or her ex boyfriend did), Kathryn D. was probably always going to be a clunky dancer and Ashley Pro was always going to struggle with her confidence, but it they had a great finals audition they should get a chance to try in camp. I’ll admit: while I’m always sad for vets cut at finals, I also always kind of like it from an I-don’t-want-to-watch-a-boring-dramafree-show perspective. But I don’t think they’d cut a great vet to take a candidate they know they’re going to cut. A boring vet maybe, but abs a vet you shouldn’t be boring in the first place.

I don’t have to go to work tomorrow or the rest of the week, so I got home and wanted to watch the new episode thinking it was Friday already. I almost screamed at my laptop wondering why there was no new episode.... I guess only having to catch up on two pages here should have already told me it hadn’t aired yet ??‍♀️

After the last episode I have a girl crush on Ashlee, she’s great. I love that not every girl has a really sad backstory anymore... I mean, listening to someone almost cry about mean girls and how they overcame that torture really almost makes me cry and all, but yeah... I was also a little shocked.. who’s Amber? Have we met her? I had no idea she existed. Erin looked so great in that clip on the field, amazing how much she improved in a year. To me, Madeline didn’t come across well during her office visit. I felt like her being all sorry and amazed at how people were talking about her just didn’t feel sincere. I didn’t feel like she really felt like her behavior was wrong or inappropriate for a rookie candidate. All season so far I’ve been loving Kelli’s look, she looks amazing! Young and fresh. but yeah, it does seem like Kelli is off, it’s probably editing, but I totally get the comments about Kelli relying on other peoples opinions. Overall I think Kelli does a great job. We may not agree with all her decisions, but at the end once the season starts she does end up with a great team, there’s no denying that. I dont follow other squads really, just what I see on instagram, but to me the DCC always look the best on the field and I applaud Kelli and Judy and everyone involved for that. Its funny how the preview for next week that took up about 10 seconds of this episode is actually the thing most discussed lol. I also can’t wait for the episode. This thread is going to go crazy next week. Also, I’m ashamed to say that I had no idea grandma Moses was an actual person... I thought that was just something Kitty says. You always learn something new...

Can I just ask... why are we sure Victoria said something about a thyroid condition? I honestly don’t remember where that rumor (or truth, I don’t know which one) came from and it just seems to be treated as a fact now. Im not trying to say it’s not true or anything, sometimes rumors just seem to get their own life on the internet.. and some really do prove to be true, so I’m just curious...

Same for me.. I guess it’s a Europe thing? Not being able to watch the show on iTunes, Amazon or now CMT kind of sucks. I’d totally be willing to pay to be able to watch it anywhere in good quality ??‍♀️

That episode made it seem like if Kitty could have she would have put a uniform on Victoria right then and there. Why? So many girls have been ‘in the programme’ for ages, a lot of girls mention having been junior DCCs over the years, they don’t get special treatment for it. In a perfect world it wouldn’t matter whether you have been involved in the Programme for ages or not, but I know it’s not a perfect world. Still... Victoria gets extra time to loose weight because she has always been involved and Dayton gets no extra time to improve? That doesn’t seem right. How can Kitty say Victoria is ready when even Kelli says she is still out of control sometimes? I’ve never been a fan of Kitty’s, to me she always seemed to play favorites, but this year I don’t even know what to say anymore. I actually think it’s a little sad that pretty much every discussion this year is about the legacies. It’s probably great for rating, but overall it feels like most viewers on social media this year are just plain annoyed with everything. There’s usually more diversity when discussing the show on Facebook or something. I get Kelli being astonished about all the Victoria ‘hate’ somehow, she definetly wasn’t expecting it and I do wonder what next year is going to be like. If there isn’t a show anymore it will be more quiet, but the ‘hate’ is not going to go away and there isn’t much you can do about damage control. If Victoria comes back lean and mean, they won’t be able to find a good reason to keep her off the squad. And in the end, how many people at the games actually care about how or why one cheerleader made the team. I would guess most people at the games don’t really care who the cheerleaders are. It also kind of felt like Kitty came in wanting to cut a veteran, it didn’t really matter which one, but one had to be the sacrifial lamb.

I miss getting to see more of the comeback girls. I’d love to see more of how Erin has improved for example. I also still have no clue who some of the rookie candidates are. I know I’ve seen them, but I’ve already forgotten about them.

How Jessika made it back without being able to answer one question in panels baffles me. Kelli is always going on about how vets should be able to talk about anything. Victoria falling out of her turns should have been a red flag. When little Heather kicked the wrong way during the kick line she got cut and I can’t remember if it was Hannah or Veronica who fell out of her turns in camp, it was a huge deal. I did like Victoria’s Energie though. dayton really seems to be held to a higher standard and I don’t get it. She obviously wants it, otherwise she wouldn’t have put herself out there again and she is a good dancer, maybe a little more of a soft dancer, but so are other girls. Rachel seemed weird, kind of really shy and she kind of reminded me of the girl who was almost cut and then withdrew for her anatomy class a few years ago.. Meghan or something? I didn’t care for Meredith, to me she came across as someone who wants the fame of being a DCC. She seemed to rely on her sexiness a lot. And if Lea Jo a few years ago was considered too sexy, what’s Meredith? I love them showing the names of the girls on the field, that’s a great addition! i felt bad for Selina, not so much for Keyra, I’m sure she’s a sweet girl, I just wasn’t rooting for her.

I doubt CMT has any real say in who actually makes the team. CMT is around for a couple of weeks, the team has to function for a year. CMT probably does a lot of editing and comes up with storylines, but ultimately Kelli, Judy and Charlotte have to try and Putnam together a team that will work for a year and could possibly work more years than one. I’m also not sure women girls definetly wouldn’t haben made the team it cmt wasn’t around, they might not have made training camp, but I will never believe anyone made it bevause of CMT. And yay Brennan!!! I feel really disconnected from rookies this year, most I know nothing about and that makes them boring to me at this point. I hope that changes with the show. No spoilers and social media lockdown are turning me away from the DCC this summer...

Honestly, I didn’t think VK was bad from what we’ve seen so far on the show. Did she seem a little out of control? Yes. But she really was big, bold and beautiful, the three B’s you need at auditiosns. Beauty is different for everyone, I know. But you really can’t say she’s ugly. Her smile may be gummy or toothy (and I will forever hate the comment about Chandlers smile, I loved Chandler), but she is still pretty in her own way, as is every girl on the team. And I can totally relate to her being over the top ‘powerful’ to the point where she looks out of control. She’s 18 and has been dreaming of auditioning forever, the excitement of finally being able to try out can make you Over exaggerate. From what I’ve seen of her so far, objectively I would say she is worth a gamble at training camp to see if she can fix her weak spots (especially spacial awareness and staying in line). dont get me wrong, I have never been a fan of hers since I heard her call herself a future DCC years ago, she always came across as a little entitled to me and she and her mom do feel a little (more like a lot) shoved down my throat. But I do give her credit for working hard for a long time to achieve her ultimate goal (which I find kind of sad since life has so much to offer, but I do get it, you only have so many years to be a dancer). I’m not sure I’ll ever really like her, she needs to grow up a little, but I don’t think she’s as bad as we’ve been making her sound sometimes. Also, I was really rooting for Dayton, she is amazing, but I’m not gonna call her cut unfair or say she was robbed until I actually see some of her dancing in camp, for all I know her cut may be deserved if she can’t get the style down or something. This board is by far more interesting than anything coming from DCC Land this year, so thank you guys for that, I love the speculations and the drama, I love reading it on my way home from work.
