Stephen's comments about the people Oliver's going to see in jail made me think the season 1 callbacks are going to be criminals that he's meeting up with in Slabside. And I get that the main character being in maximum security prison for what seems like an extended period of time doesn't exactly make sunshine and rainbows out of a season, but I don't think the best way to talk about a show that's been nothing but bogged down in useless, never-ending drama is to tease that it's going to be depressing and sad. Why are all of these people so consistently bad at their jobs? LOL IDK, I think if it was someone would've taken Emily aside and told her to not be so openly disguised by the notion, but...then again given who we're dealing with, maybe not.

I think that if Emily is so nervous/anxious for these things that she needs to be paired with someone and Chico and/or Emily insist on her pairing up with Echo, they should just not make her do it. It really doesn't do anything for anyone, and then the journalists wouldn't have to stop at a table and waste time. It's got to be kind of irritating, especially for the people who didn't make it to everyone because of time constraints.

Yeah, that's one of the early mistakes they made with Laurel - flashbacks of what he went through on Lian Yu contrasted with her bring pissed with him in the present and telling him she wished he'd rotted in hell. It isn't always the best look. I'm hoping that the teaser that he's isolated in prison for the first few episodes is an indication that he will eventually see/talk to Felicity at some point, and that they can maybe chat and start working on things before he gets out, since by all indications it seems like he's going to be in for a while, and Stephen said that Oliver intends on serving out his term, so it seems like something he'd want to get started on instead of waiting until he gets out - since he doesn't think he'll be getting out. (Provided he hasn’t made a deal with the government for a shorter sentence in exchange for something).

My best guess at this point would be either Dinah because she's a cop, or Diggle because he's with ARGUS. I'd be surprised if it's someone who isn't in law enforcement.

What does Oliver need redemption for that he hasn't already gotten in the past 6 seasons? Agreed there are other people on this show who need it, but he isn't one of them.

Using Beebo on the LoT advertising makes sense. For all of them you usually just have either a masked hero/heroes in typical superhero pose, or an ensemble in typical superhero poster pose. Flash, Arrow and Supergirl don't have anything eye-catching or new to make people curious. It's all been done before. You put a giant blue stuffed animal on a poster, and people who don't know Beebo are much more likely to go looking to see who he is.

Here's hoping they don't have her act like a hypocritical asshole. That's the most I can possibly hope for at this point.

I think the Flash 100th is more likely to include a good old shit-talking about the characters on Arrow than actually weaving them into a 100th story if it isn't part of the crossover. Unless they invite Oliver over specifically to make jokes about him going to prison or talk about what a terrible person he is compared to Barry.
