Yep. The only way I could ever see her agreeing to do something like that is if the fate of the whole city was at risk and they needed information that he would ONLY tell Sara. This was not that information, and I'm so distraught over it. Bleh.

Same. I liked it enough - it's not something I'll ever watch again though. Laurel was comically bad at vigilante-ing at times, and comically good at it. I'm not sure what exactly I expected since it's half struggle and half Insta-Canary. It is what it is and I'm not going to nitpick too much because it's happening and nothing can be done about it. And I don't even consider Felicity helping Laurel with the modulator propping, because it didn't make Laurel look good or more capable. It was just baffling, because like you wrote, they didn't need to do it - he would've given Felicity the information if she'd called as herself - he knows she works with Roy. I've written this before and I'm standing firm in my belief - I think they're going so far with this because Sara is legit coming back. How or why I don't know, but I really think it's gonna happen. It's a shame they're making everyone look like shit in the process of whatever it is they're doing though.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. Oliver needs to go back to Lian Yu, harvest the shit out of them, and sell them here as some kind of acai berry miracle pill like Ron Popeil. He'd make all his money back and then some. And yeah, I much prefer Ray and Felicity in scenes like the helicopter borrowing sequence. Him telling her he wants to make the suit to protect her? Vomit city.

If they did, it must not have happened in the US or only for a really short time, because the only two trends I saw were Laurel and Felicity and Canary. And Red Arrow for a bit, which was weird.

It wasn't really flirting so much as an uncomfortable, almost intimate closeness IMO. Ray told her that the reason he wanted to make the suit was so he could protect her, and there was a look after that was a bit much after Oliver died. And it happened again when she gave him the processor he needed for his suit - he said he thought she wasn't going to help him with a suicide mission and she said maybe if I help you it won't be a suicide mission. Or something. And then there was another look that was just too much after she just lost the guy that she (I guess) loves? And he knows it? Yuck.

It did. And Canary did too for a bit, although I think that might've been at the initial surprise of hearing Sara's voice over the phone talking to Quentin. They even got me, the fucking assholes. Then I was just really, really, really sad and uncomfortable. I think it was supposed to show us that Oliver Queen needs to "die" because he's not willing to do the difficult stuff when he lets his emotions get in the way.

Oh, I know he's still going to be Arrow, I was just wondering if we were back to the Oliver Queen v Arrow thing and whether he was going to come back and fully ditch Oliver Queen for Arrow. He kind of half-assedly did it in the first ep.

Lying to her father ups her strength - she gets ten times more fighting power every time she calls Quentin "Daddy" in Sara's voice.

Yeah, I think the dream sequence at the beginning of this ep is a clue that for the meantime Oliver is dead. But then...he was just so soft-spoken and kind of hopeful almost it doesn't compute.

It was a replay of the scene they had before he went off to Ra's. When Felicity told him she was worried that Ra's was going to use his humanity against him, he said "you're right" and then Oliver told her he loved her, they kissed and then Oliver got run through and spit out blood right in front of her. I guess that was Oliver Queen dying?

There was a kiss and it was happy until...it wasn't.

He's really back.

Well, not directly. But yeah, Raylicity, like, really early on in the ep.

After tonight's ep, I'm honestly conflicted about what I think he's going to do when he comes back. I can't tell if he's going to go full Arrow or fight for Oliver Queen.

Laurel went out and tried to take on Brick with Roy and wound up making a few mistakes that led to a hostage getting killed. She was appropriately horrified by it, and decided that she wasn't going to suit up again. Felicity came in (newly renewed in her mission after Ray told her his motivating factor in making a suit was to protect HER, jesus - beer me strength), so Felicity went and talked Laurel back into suiting up. Shit rained down (I honestly can't remember), and because Quentin had already seen the Canary on news footage, Felicity worked up some tech so that Laurel could call Quentin and sound like Laurel to get some case information so they could take down Brick. Felicity goes and borrows Ray's helicopter, Roy, Digg and Laurel helicopter in and fight. After the fight, Laurel goes and meets Lance in an alley (she's standing on a fire escape and backlit, so he can't see her face), and pretends to be Sara, using the voice modulator so he thinks that she's Sara.

Felicity told Lance she knew how to get in touch with Canary, and then worked up some voice thing so that Laurel could pretend to be her over the phone to get some information from Lance. Then at the end of the ep Laurel went to see Quentin in an alleyway using a modulator with Sara's voice on it so he'd think it was her.

I can't even comment about anything yet other to say I am fucking disgusted at what they did to Quentin, and angry that Felicity was in on it. The over the phone thing was bad enough, but then to fool him in person? It is beyond sad and gross. And I really do think that Sara's legit coming back now.

OMG maybe Ray gave her some over-the-top necklace or earrings and Oliver can comment on how it/they aren't her and I have to stop now because I'll only get disappointed.

I don't think she has an "I choose you" moment, but if it was anything like the anti-prom episode of Dawson's like we were talking, Ray would realize that he probably wasn't in the running like he thought he was. Not even in the race.

They're going because Ray needs help with his suit, aren't they?

I've said this before, but I swear to god if we get an "I remember everything," kind of moment, I will lose it. In a good way.

I guess BR and Willa switched seats or something during a break and that's when Willa and Emily took that picture. Otherwise it'd be weird if he was Felicity's +1 and they weren't even sitting together.

My impression from AK's statement was that the rewrite has already been done, they were just thrown a curveball because of the break they hadn't anticipated.
