  1. That doesn't even make sense - she already joined them in 5x15. Unless she does them that "favor" to save Oliver.
  2. I think that's the standard Law Enforcement Gal wardrobe this season. Dinah wears something similar on Oliver's security detail.
  3. IIRC Stephen said that it comes into play a little at the end in a FB Q&A. I thought he also said it came into play in the middle too-I guess maybe that was initially supposed to be a Laurel thing.
  4. I'm not going to make the obvious shaft/shaft joke.
  5. Same. 5x09 is the only one I want to set on fire.
  6. And the "adult" part of the conversation is the sex, got it!
  7. He can save Susie from imminent danger, dump her, then walk into the lair and be like, "Am I an idiot or what?"
  8. Same. I still watch this show, so my standards are obviously low, just let me be happy again. Shhhhhh. You ziP. the liP.
  9. He posts on another board I'm on, and he for real thought it was over for good. Bless him.
  10. Sorry, I wasn't sure if you were still watching, haha. I thought it was intended as a 'I can't seem to help myself' kinda comparison.
  11. He said that because that's the reasoning Thea gave in the show when she resigned from the mayor's office - she compared her obsession with dirty politics to her bloodlust.
  12. My recollection about most of what's been said is that this storyline was going to be about her ultimately being willing to do any/everything to go after Prometheus, and that her experience is ultimately going to help her understand Oliver better. My guess about the conversation based solely on the song tease MG did the other day is that it's just going to be Oliver expressing concern and letting her know that he's there for her if she wants to talk to him. And I'm gonna guess she won't, because plot and outside of plot because based on the recent talking points, they might be revisiting the fact that she doesn't really trust him.
  13. Nothing else about Helix (so far) has been tied to Oliver, so hopefully if she winds up being wrong for trusting them it's because they're her version of Chase, and setting her up for something.
  14. Wild guess: Seems like Helix is gonna stongarm her into doing their questionable things, and they probably aren't going to be for the greater good.
  15. I don't even think he was wrong to trust Chase. From what Oliver's seen he's been nothing but trustworthy. Susie's given him reason to not trust her. Repeatedly.
  16. SA said in his chat last night that Oliver finds out Chase is Prometheus pretty much at the beginning of next ep. Plus, in the preview it seems as if Chase tells Oliver she's been kidnapped in a sinister way that indicates Oliver already knows who he's dealing with. Since the preview also shows her telling her that he goes by Adrian Chase, seems like this might happen at the beginning of the ep?
  17. Like seriously, if Oliver wasn't going to question that Susan had been investigating him and was sad she couldn't do anything to expose his secrets because she had no credibility, her going from "You deserve today," to promising to keep his secret because she thinks he's good for the city just because she got her job back should make him nervous as hell. But I guess that's the point. I hope Chase manipulates the shit out of her.
  18. I mean, he's right in that Oliver has done way shittier stuff that would warrant people hating him. What he doesn't seem to get is that it isn't the act of siding with Susan that's necessarily the problem, it's that he's doing it with this weird blind trust that hasn't been explained or even shown through their relationship at all. So he's standing by this woman who he just found out had been investigating his past without his knowledge, and told him twice that she would report on it and he hasn't even blinked a critical eye at any of those things. He just keeps insisting that she wouldn't do what she told him she would've done, haha. So it's not that he's choosing Susan necessarily, it's that he's choosing Susan while ignoring the protests of people who he knows he can trust and who care about him and want to protect him in the face of mounting evidence that he's being super stupid about it. But since the show isn't selling that this is a dumb choice, I guess SA just doesn't see it as one.
  19. Yeah, I think DR said that in one of his interviews recently.
  20. And she doesn't even know that there were extenuating circumstances, haha. All she knows is that he killed a cop. No questions asked!
