I like that the kids showing up gives something for pretty much everyone in the present to deal with (apart from either one of the Canaries). Oliver’s meeting Mia for the first time as a grown up and seeing William again, Diggle’s gonna fins out one of his boys is a villain and that there’s another one he didn’t know about. I assume Rene will find out about Zoe. Really looking forward to next week’s ep.

I found most of that pretty boring, just by virtue of it being LoA focused (even though Stephen is looking...oh so hot and killing it with the emotional stuff), but the last few seconds really made up for it. RIP yet another Canary, even though it's probably not going to be permanent. Still...yeesh.

And this doesn't negate anything I wrote in the post that you replied to. They should have a spinoff tag that they all use when they post about it, regardless of their other tags. It's smart social media management, but the people who handle that for the CW aren't very good at their jobs.

But their new show isn't Arrow, and they should be using the same hashtag when they post about it (even if they do include additional ones on their own).

I could not give less of a shit about anyone's reaction to E-2, honestly, especially people who didn't live there and stepped foot on it for approximately 2 hours. Looking forward to seeing Oliver and Thea again.

I do think it's in character for Oliver to just go along with whatever the Monitor says since he's a big ol dummy when it comes to the people he loves being threatened. We're lucky this time he's actually trying to get to the bottom of things unlike, say...just going along with something stupid for an absurdly long time. (Looking at you Samantha, Malcolm, however other many people made Oliver say, "It's the only way!!" before someone convinced him it is not).

I know that if anyone is going to actually die and have it stick in some way it'll be Oliver, but this better be "for Oliver" who's lying in STAR Labs hooked up to an IV and not really dead dead Oliver or I will find Marc Guggenheim and curse his bald head!!!!

I don't think they'll end the show with Oliver not getting on the Gambit since we already got a version of that in the garbage fire that was the 100th episode.

Maybe it's a little of both? Given the (admittedly, small) script excerpt that Katie posted with her cat the other day, it does seem like there's a "new and improved" something (Star City?) and "futuristic" buildings. Maybe they're playing dumb about the premise because they can't actually talk about what it is because it would spoil Crisis, and maybe they don't want to commit to anything even as simple as who's going to appear since the network might retool some things once they get a look at the backdoor pilot?

IDK, I thought it was the right amount of self-absorbed for a Laurel, since she mainly focused her anger on the loss of her own life on E-2 and the people that she loved and counted on her, not any of the billions of people who didn't fall into either one of those categories. I don't mean that as a knock, either - if a Laurel was going to grieve, that's exactly how I would expect it to play out, LOL.
